Best thing about this watch is how much YOU love and enjoy it! The size shocked me, somehow I had always assumed they were more like 42mm. The size is perfect. As much as I love, say the Bovet 19Thirty models, the Breguet is the one that is so wearable and so captivating. You made a wonderful choice, and I hope you have it for a very long time.

Form and function, harmonious. Lots of design details. Love the coin edge mid case. I prefer a 38-40 case, my sweet spot, even though I have 7 1/2 in wrist.
I'm just about to purchase the 7097 version and watched this review with great interest. One thing I would caution against is using quick release springbars in the lugs espcially because they could damage the very fine threads used by the factory screw pin. Inconvenient I know but better to use the original screws. Can I ask how you are finding the watch now you've had it for a few months and the honeymoon has worn off?

Hey there and thanks! Payed about 13k all in on this one which is bottom of the market I feel. Typically I think 14-17 is where you’d find it. If you like gold and all gold the yellow gold versions tend to go closer to that 13k mark
Congratulations. These are gorgeous watches, with an architecture going back to his pocket watches Inc the shock protection he invented.. It's a gorgeous piece and very undervalued. YOU SHOULD NOT USE STEEL SPRING BARS! Seriously get white gold ones. Steel WILL oval out the recesses. You can use brass too.
I can't find this model and spec anywhere for sale in good used condition today. Breguet should bring back this 38mm. 40mm is too large with those long lugs.
I am so jealous of you having this watch, this is out of my 3 grail watches the most attainable price wise, but still very far out of my current budget

I love the rose gold/black dial version most. Its thin lugs do make the watch looks bigger on the wrist, even the lug to lug actually isn't too long.

Would have been good if they did this with the tear drop lugs, that would be a more vintage feel to this model.
Don’t think Breguet has ever used teardrop lugs so would go against their design language a bit
