- During Prime Minister's Questions, Rishi Sunak mocked Keir Starmer's handling of the Angela Rayner council house sale issue. Starmer had tried to question Sunak about Liz Truss's new book and the impact of a previous budget, but Sunak diverted the topic. He suggested Starmer should focus less on the book and more on Rayner's tax advice.
In response, Starmer accused Sunak of attempting to smear a working-class woman. Last week, Greater Manchester Police announced an investigation into Rayner for allegedly wrongly declaring her permanent address on the electoral register, an accusation she denies. Rayner has dismissed the claims as a series of smears by the Conservatives.

You would think Raynor had done the taxman out of millions like sunaks wife with her nondom status and then changing it when she was found out and sunak said he didn't know anything about his wife business
Yesterday Labour showed us all what we can expect from them over the next 4/5 years. Not only did they approve of the actions of the Brissels Mayor, they laughed about it in Parliament. The Speaker failed to admonish Streeting and Starmer has failed to apologise. We've now seen what they believe is acceptable and what they are prepared to do. We are in a bad place heading towards worse and darker times.

I don't remember the chancellor "Promising" to abolish NI in he next Parliament. Didn't he say something along the lines of, "It's the long term ambition to abolish National Insurance". How has that become interpreted as being in the next Parliament?
