I purchased the Highness little over a month ago, but I test drove the Interceptor yesterday and I was impressed by the ride quality this motorcycle offers. The vibrations that RE is known for was not the case with this motorcycle and it would be the same with Continental GT too. I am 177cm tall, so the motorcycle felt a bit small for me, but this motorcycle is highly recommended. The bike thar I rode had covered 37,000km and it was not in a great condition, but the gearbox was still surprisingly smooth. Great job, Royal Enfield! Speaking of Highness, it sits in its own league for engine refinement. The Interceptor however is also a worthy consideration. Also, the name 'Interceptor' sounds really incredible to me❤

Nice review as always. Just a point to add for the vid, it would be good if you can replace the word motorcycle with "bike", "one", then the "motorcycle" word would not sound so redundant and repetitive. Just a suggestion.

Chrome is any day better under all weather conditions. Black powder coating looks good only for first few months, after that it will only get worse by each year. Not only will the dust show more prominently but it will also get stains that are either difficult to remove or impossible to remove in a few crevices. Remember this, any substance over metal is bound to deteriorate over time, whether it is paint or plastic. And though I don't have the stats, I feel that a powder coated black engine could be generating and storing more heat compared to bare metal.
Hi Strell, I need your opinion on my dilemma. I currently own Reborn Classic and a Hayabusa. After buying Busa last year, somehow I am feeling Reborn Classic way too boring. I want to replace Classic with something exciting. Classic does dual duty of city rides and occasional weekend rides to nearby villages for solitude. Sometimes wife accompanies me and she finds Classic conformable. I've shortlisted Interceptor (New) and Street Twin (Used). The budget is 4 to 4.5 lacs. Though, Interceptor looks no brainer, I am do not find it special and feel that I may outgrow it quickly. I am not sure about pillion comfort too. While Street Twin gives Badge satisfaction, I am not sure whether buying 6-7 year old Truimph will be a good idea. I plan to keep bike for 5 to 7 year and won't be changing it quickly. Your insights will be helpful.
