Wow thats a nice road I i would kiss it
where is it brother
love from ASSAM-guwahati
As I’m living in Chandigarh is it good to own a interceptor
I don't think RE should update those speedometer
Hell nahhh! Those are the best part
Me neither!🤞
Those adds flavour to the classy look!
Missing the halogen as well. They were bad but lovely
Tachometer forever!
but should correct the fuel gauge and bring some more new updates to it with its classy retro look
I purchased the Highness little over a month ago, but I test drove the Interceptor yesterday and I was impressed by the ride quality this motorcycle offers. The vibrations that RE is known for was not the case with this motorcycle and it would be the same with Continental GT too. I am 177cm tall, so the motorcycle felt a bit small for me, but this motorcycle is highly recommended. The bike thar I rode had covered 37,000km and it was not in a great condition, but the gearbox was still surprisingly smooth. Great job, Royal Enfield! Speaking of Highness, it sits in its own league for engine refinement. The Interceptor however is also a worthy consideration. Also, the name 'Interceptor' sounds really incredible to me❤
If it's that good why did u buy the highness
@@piyushmishra4694 because I rode the Interceptor after purchasing the Highness. Had that not been the case, it would have been a tough choice to pick one😂
I'd go for Interceptor probably, because of the excellent ride quality, refinement and low end torque.
@@sameerkharade7750 interceptor is difficult to maintain than highness tho. I have seen user reviews about it being not good for daily use due to weight and mileage.
@@sameerkharade7750 can't compare. Different class of bike in price. Inti is much costlier.
That's why I like your reviews .... Well researched and to the point... I have been an Interceptor owner from last 2.5 years and trust me what ever he explained in this review is 100% accurate ❤
Any overheating issue till now?
The city clip was a nice touch. Would like to see it for upcoming reviews as well, thanks
Thank you 😊
They should have fully blacked out the look like handle bar and turn indicator also, plus that duel analog instrument cluster is best i hope they dont upgrade it with digital by the time i will be able to buy one
The main problems in the dark edition models are rust or brownish colour in the exhaust pipe after 1 or 2 years of experience.please find any solutions?
I have my interceptor and I love it and everyone around me loves it tooooo❤
Accurately awsm review 🤟❤️ although waiting for GT 650 alloy wheel varient review ...
Thanks. GT review is on the way
Hey strell waiting for your review on Himalayan 452
Adventure 390 X review? Yes it's the same engine and all without the bells and whistles but would love if you'd make a video on it!!!
Also would like it if you could take a look at the Dominar 400 now since it's been 4 years since you last reviewed it.
which colour looks best, barcelona blue or this one?
Why can't we get a tachometer on the classic😭 like just put this same instrument cluster on the classic. I'm in love with this
You always post really good videos. The earlier generation of interceptor had soft suspension setup. Is the new generation of interceptor has same soft setup or is it harder? Thank you
the early model should give option neither tube rims and tubeless ...cause i love the chrome on body but worry about punture tyres...😅
Don't believe this review just take test ride and u will love it and power will take ur breath away ❤
Looks great blacked out.
Why do manufacturers keep on providing sub standard headlights in the name of providing LED Headlights?
Apart from the obvious moto magazines and renowned journalists who have their UA-cam channels this channel is what I go to for all bike related reviews. I just wish i could filter 90% of those amateur garbage over-enthusiastic ‘oh bhai’ reviewers so i can only see quality content on my feeds.
The BS4/6 390 Duke has ride by wire throttle which is less responsive than the BS3. The Interceptor doesn't need that.
Bs4/6 engine became calm due to emission restrictions... Ride by wire is superior to carb most of the times... Interceptor low speed fuelling is better than ride by wire controlled triumph 900 cc s
@@MAX-xw8xq Ride by wire may be superior to carburettors but inferior to direct throttle EFI when it comes to instant response. The BS3 390 Duke used to respond instantly to throttle inputs even in the top gear. The Interceptor has smooth low end and overall fueling but at the same time the throttle response feels more precise than that of the BS4 390 Duke. KTM's ride by wire has made low rpm throttle control much smoother and easier but it feels laggy and disconnected in the higher rpm band.
@@twowheeledparadox thanks for sharing
Can we also expect to see the Dominar 400 once again on the channel? 😁 I know I commented already but asking anyway sorry 😬
Hi Strell, I need your opinion on my dilemma. I currently own Reborn Classic and a Hayabusa. After buying Busa last year, somehow I am feeling Reborn Classic way too boring. I want to replace Classic with something exciting. Classic does dual duty of city rides and occasional weekend rides to nearby villages for solitude. Sometimes wife accompanies me and she finds Classic conformable. I've shortlisted Interceptor (New) and Street Twin (Used). The budget is 4 to 4.5 lacs. Though, Interceptor looks no brainer, I am do not find it special and feel that I may outgrow it quickly. I am not sure about pillion comfort too. While Street Twin gives Badge satisfaction, I am not sure whether buying 6-7 year old Truimph will be a good idea. I plan to keep bike for 5 to 7 year and won't be changing it quickly. Your insights will be helpful.
Did you recently change your accent ? it Sounds unfamiliar bro
i think he just changed his mic (old one was better than this)
@@AbhinavSingh-wr8um oh. Whatever he did I too liked the previous one
@@AbhinavSingh-wr8um New mic with updated accents patch
its literally the same accent as before wdym
There's always gonna be one dude insecure about someone speaking English better than him.
Nice review as always. Just a point to add for the vid, it would be good if you can replace the word motorcycle with "bike", "one", then the "motorcycle" word would not sound so redundant and repetitive. Just a suggestion.
Great point! Thanks
@strell what’s your opinion on getting the spoke wheels modified to tubeless using the aftermarket kit? The one where an adhesive tape is applied over the rim
Waiting for strell more than the bike🥰❤️
Please recommend a steady motorcycle for a 300km 120kmph to 140kmph highway roundtrip daily economical commute (in my mind RE Hunter 350, Honda CB300R, KTM Duke 390 & Apache RTR 310) all suggestions are welcome
hunter is good option but you have to take test ride of all above
Very informative video bro... I booked mine yesterday ..but I am in two minds now .... I can overlook the lack of basic things but the wobbling at high speed is something which will limit my riding enjoyment and experience..... Don't know what to say now
I got mine blacy ray last month. No wobbling issues i ve checked till 110kmph. Don't worry 😉
@@praneshs8344 I go north of 110 as well bro
Please do heat test on RE650 also , like you did on Street Rod 750 and RR310
The addition of tubeless tyres is THE major change according to me. Handling a puncture in this motorcycle is really a pain in the ass.
Am damn sure even the existing owners are gonna change to alloys very soon.
I enquired in bangalore they said it is 4.05L on road for the new ones
Hey Strell! Please do a review for the Bullet Standard 350 too....
4:27 "Alright we are on highway..." and an Indian uncle casually goes by wrong side, no helmet, AND on cell phone. Brilliant.
Was about to book this but got a good deal on z650 2021 😅 hence bought my first big bike as z650
Think you dodged a bullet 😂
Congratulations 😃
@@jayanthmanutd Good one 😂
@@gokulkrishm51 that was definitely not intentional😁
Is there a wobbling issue on highway at higher speeds in this bike?
12:03
hey strell! would the RE INTERCEPTOR 650 be a good first bike?
Love the helmet bro - could you share more details about it? Thanks!
Wanted ur advice I am bit confused between ktm adv 390 and interceptor 650. I have delayed my purchase because of the confusion. Just wanted ur expertise advice on this. I am starting my passion of riding and Interceptor is kind of first love which comes with twin engine I like smooth riding not too fast like cruising and enjoying the ride but having enough power when needed. But ktm adv looks like perfect in all sense for touring like seats are perfect and electronic and all so mind is telling ktm and heart interceptor. Kindly wanted ur unbiased advice
Same here
Same here too
If your touring is related to highway and proper tourist places. Ktm makes sense. Interceptor is not touring friendly or compared with adv. I own inty by the way. It's not that Interceptor can't travel. But with luggage it gets cumbersome due to most of the weight on its front tyre. Less than five feet eignt inches, inty is difficult to handle when pulling out of parking lot.
Strell in black🎩
does alloy version wobbles as well ?
So which bike will you suggest between ktm390 adventure X and 650 interceptor? The price difference is 50k . I love the looks of 390 adventure and the features + light weight but this blacked out 650 is also looking great now with tubeless tyres and usb etc.....very confusing
What is the model of you agv helmet ?
Chrome is any day better under all weather conditions. Black powder coating looks good only for first few months, after that it will only get worse by each year. Not only will the dust show more prominently but it will also get stains that are either difficult to remove or impossible to remove in a few crevices. Remember this, any substance over metal is bound to deteriorate over time, whether it is paint or plastic. And though I don't have the stats, I feel that a powder coated black engine could be generating and storing more heat compared to bare metal.
Same goes for Chrome
Bro is that hosur Highway
Very nice and polished video ❤❤
milage bro?
Great details and unbiased review!
2:48 What is meant by good set of rubbers??
I've learnt riding bikes with Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 350 . It won't be an issue for me if I buy Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 as my first bike .
Bro I learnt riding a bike in jawa 42 2.1 which is a 300c bike but I am getting interceptor 650 as my first bike. Go for it bro !
THANKS BROTHER....
Does it have a slippery Clutch ?
Does it wobbles ??
At 10:48 what is that crossover looking car by the badge i'd guess suzuki
That is the suzuki Fronx
Are you saying this is not good motorcycle all in all?? Tell me please was looking forward to buy this 😭😭
Does it have gear indicator??
no
169cm height with boots or without?
Adventure 390 X or Interceptor 650? , mostly city and and 30% highway use. which is better bang for money?
Adventure would be better due to higher ground clearance, but go rest ride the motorcycles to actually notice the difference.
test ride once, on paper for city rides adventure would be better
Hey @iamstrell
I have a question,
Is it possible to fit the alloy wheels to an older interceptor or we have to go for the new ones?
Also
Are they selling all the colour options in alloy wheels or just 2
You can also get alloy wheels for the other interceptor and gt variants.
Good insight
First😌❤️
Which city, kitna waiting?
Voice is very noicey at start
Ella strell changaayi... Sound okke maariya pole indallo.
I am thinking of buying CB 500 X but it's way more expensive than Super Meteor. What's your opinion. The same money can be used for rides 😂
Cb 500x is a fantastic machine but not worth 7lakhs plus ... For touring and considering city road conditions you may take interceptor with new upgraded ceat... Super Meteor is not comfortable in city...
Can you elaborate on the fuel indicator inaccuracy? I am considering buying it. So is it really a big issue?
Amazing, when are we getting 2023 gt review?
would you recommend, exchanging my old 2019 RE Interceptor with the new one make sense, I have only cloaked mine to 17k km to date, or would you recommend upgrading the parts, rather than exchanging the system, mine is still in stock.
Sr125 by keeway is a good one for your next video . Check it out .
Hello Strell. Haven’t watched the full video yet but I got to ask, can a 5’5” (shoes off, maybe 5’6” with shoes on) guy ride this bike? Thanks.
Yes you can. My dad is your height and he very comfortably rides the interceptor
@@animealpha4795 thanks!
Just bought a triumph street twin
Hii strell machaa... 🥰
Yeah yeah triumph street twin
What exhaust model did you install on this Interceptor?
Bro please review bmw g310 rr
Am I the only one who loved the previous version more???
What happens to your voice?
Which action cammera u used to film this?
Bullet more comfortable than this?
Service my as costs 2000 to 3000 rs the engine oil will cost you so much. Don't forget the pathetic after service and the quality of the bike in mind before buying .
Bro where you in Coimbatore with this bike? I am doubting if it was you.
No bro. It want me.
This is a classic bike. Not meant to have riding modes, etc
❤
Broiii ❤️💕

spoken like a true sports bike owner, bad review dude, change your perspective and then review this one again
But i like chrome version more
Kawasaki W 175 review video please
Hi, unfortunately, no test ride bikes are available for that model.
Where Is GT650 , It's Not Cruiser , It's A Racer 🗿❗️❗️
Aashane 😌
"An oil change should be done every 5,000 kilometers."
For the BS6 version it is 10k km.
@@twowheeledparadox that's what re says . I've been a 650 tech since launch , 5000-6000 on fully synthetic is where it's at.
@@livinlifeat60mph I was advised against changing the oil at the second service by the RE workshop and to wait until the third. Of course, I got it changed anyway because of the way I ride and because of the dusty conditions here. Even the owner's manual suggests 10k km interval for oil change. Still, I don't trust any synthetic oil beyond 5k km in my motorcycles.
@@twowheeledparadox what @anand Sai is saying is truth. RE oil get muddy after 5-6000 kms. You have to change oil as it losses it's property. But Castrol sports cruiser one is good for 8-9000km. i have ravishing red one.
@@MAX-xw8xq Yes, RE says 10k km but I also think 5k km is a good interval.
For me intercepter >> continental gt
I'd say in city Duke is better
Poor brakes, tyres that don't give confidence and jerky suspensions and poor ride quality. All of these made the decision for me
Waiting for Malayalam
Mokka bike i just sold it after 20000kms dunno why i didnt like it
It didnt give me the thrill and juice i want
alloy wheels 🤮
waiting for Bullet 350's review , the last single downtube UCE from Enfield🥹
Bullet uce efi is surprisingly smooth till 90kmph.. unlike my previos bike electra without efi which get unbearable above 80 kmph . Now o have inty
