You know what would realistically happen if Kratos met Jesus? He would ask Kratos if he wanted to absolve him of his sins. The best part is how methodologically accurate this is. Other mythological figures like Gilgamesh and Mowi have faced crushing failure and doom trying to concur death yet Jesus does so naturally. I want a more serious version of this to actually be the end of the God of War series. After murdering pantheon after pantheon, Kratos would have lost all who had cared for him and any hope of forgiveness. He travels to the last pantheon, and unintentionally starts a rivalry with Jesus. However, when he confronts him, Jesus is just like “nah man, it’s alright, I forgive you” and Kratos is like “fr bro?” and the story has a happy ending. Until studio interference with half-baked sequel a decade later

*SPOILERS* This completely contradicts the ending of Ragnarok in which he becomes a worshipped God and is surrounded by friends who love him? In fact, this directly contradicts GOW 4 in which he tries to escape killing gods. He's only ever killed one pantheon anyway, Odin has probably killed more Norse gods than he has, since Kratos has only killed 2 (Baldur, Heimdall) and had a hand in killing Odin.

Small corection. Anubis is actually the Egyptian god of the underworld, not war. Montu is the Egyptian god of war, but it was first believed that Horus, the son of Osiris and Isis, was the god of war.
Okay you mean the cut ending for GoW 3 and the original plans for GoW 4. I want a more serious version of this to actually be the end of the God of War series. After murdering pantheon after pantheon, Kratos would have lost all who had cared for him and any hope of forgiveness. He travels to the last pantheon, and unintentionally starts a rivalry with Jesus. However, when he confronts him, Jesus is just like “nah man, it’s alright, I forgive you” and Kratos is like “fr bro?” and the story has a happy ending.

In fact, this directly contradicts GOW 4 in which he tries to escape killing gods. He's only ever killed one pantheon anyway, Odin has probably killed more Norse gods than he has, since Kratos has only killed 2 (Baldur, Heimdall) and had a hand in killing Odin.
