This video was pretty stupid and pointless. I don't want to delete the game itself, just not have it show up on the home screen because I played it once!
Disliked this. Why even make a video of this? I want to know how to hide a game I've not played in 6 months but may again in the future without deleting it.
This is what I want to know or sony to add because I want my home screen to look minimal with 2 or so games I'm actually playing right now and the rest to be hidden but still installed on the console.

Go into library and start up a game that you want on your Home Screen then close it, repeat the process until you started all the games you want to be on your Home Screen, there’s only a certain amount of games they allow you to have on it so it should be pushing all the games you want off your home screen to the right, that’s the only way I found out that works getting those ps4 versions off of it and into the library. Hope this helps cause I was in the same position as y’all being pissed not being able to find an answer😂
Completely deleting a game off of your PlayStation is not even remotely the same thing as just removing or hiding it from your home screen. Fake title. Misleading. Click bait.
Anyone who's responsible for the ps5s interface should have been fired a long time ago but like in so many issues with handling your playstation like the user wants sony just doesn't care for it. Have you ever moved a few games? They just lock your entire system and won't even let you shut off your controller no matter how long the process takes and i often move games from ssd to external hard drive if I don't play them for a while (I don't wanna download 100ds of gb again if I choose to play those games again)
But is there like a way to not see the games like on the PS app and like delete it and hide it and you can never see it again I don't know how to do that this is so trash in fact why didn't Sony even add stuff like that to the PS App

so you cant actually remove a game from the homescreen. for instance I have a ps4 and ps5 version of a game on my home screen. I dont want the ps4 version showing there. I simply want to delete that icon from the home screen NOT delete the game. ideally I could only have what ones I want there not be forced to see ten of them. Yet you cant do that apparently

I had to delete my game because I wanted to hide it from family members my cousin annoying and keeps f up my progress in my games just because he wants to try it it piss me off because he just won’t create a dang account
This is a pain in the ass if you don't want a game and don't want to delete you have to open all your games on the homescreen until the one you don't want there rotates is a royal pain!! And this is more or less easily solved by let us pin to homescreen 10 games instead of 5 !we have raytracing and a lot of other things but a simple quality of life is impossible it seems
I have a game that is on the home screen but it's one I have a disc version for, and I deleted it off the homescreen but when i reboot the PS5 it comes right back to the home screen.
This is unrelated but like how long did it take for the PS4 to get theme support because I'm wondering if we're ever going to get that with PS5? Thanks

Ive a disc game and updated to digital, i take it its not possible to hide the dice version without deleting it entirely as its part of the digital
