Of course with videos like these one mayor thing that is not mentioned is that you can share most of the PS Plus features (no trials) with someone else and effectively split the price of the subscribtion. Combined with cheap PSN credit and Sony's deals on black friday etc. you can save a lot of money. I personally only pay about 30 Euros a year for PS Plus Premium instead of 120, so only a fourth.
If i get the premium and I downloaded a game then it goes from the collection ,will they delete it from my library ?

I'll stick to just the essential thanks. I don't feel like losing access to games I already got through the monthly games, like so many other people have with the Mafia collection and other games
And to be honest, if I look at the collection of game it doesn’t look worth it to me.
The games you buy with PS Plus subscription doesn't matter what tier you have, it doesn't stay with your account for life. I had the issue today, where some of my games got a lock icon. And it seems they were removed from the PS Plus catalog and once remove you can't access it until you buy it.

Just a word of warning that if you subscribe to say extra or premium for 12 months and you want to downgrade you have to wait until it expires before dropping a tier. If you buy a year of essential and you’re in those tiers you get like 200 days or less added as they’re more expensive than essential.

@@AbadyonYT I wanted to downgrade because I don’t think it was worth paying more for what they was offering. I completed 3-4 games I hadn’t played and wanted to go back to my essential tier.
Charging for online play is kinda greedy

The best thing to do is keep titles on your wishlist then up your subscription for a month, play all the games and then cancel the subscription a month later.
Pretty much what I do. I never have these things renewing. I treat them as rentals. They'll never replace actually buying a game and opening it.

More thorough than ever. A much needed update. They still missed a big benefit which is the day 1 releases for some games.
I wish Ps Plus would change Tier names. It's always confusing what's the best Tier is - Extra or Premium, especially if I don't browse it for a while. Naming it something like Ps Plus Gold and Ps Plus Platinum makes more sense for me.
Just drop the plus at that point
I want a list where I can see when a game leaves the Extra and Premium Tiers so I know how long I have left to play and complete them.
And also to give a reasonable time to finish them 100% after the announcement of removal dates
There is a Google doc that tracks all the games that are leaving or have left, both PS Plus and Game Pass.
I thought once you download a game you owned it forever?
@@Fernweh1965 No, you own it so long as you stay subscribed. But they will always remain in your library, so if you unsub and resub, you'll always have access to them.

I have premium but extra offers the best value for money.
If your internet is good then premium offers the best value now. What you said was true for along time but the streaming of Ps3 games has drastically improved to where there's no noticeable lag. Not sure how they did it but they've been improving it.
When will we see new PS2 games join the service? We've had none emulated since launch.

Really important question here... let's say I save my game data (progress) into the cloud. What happens when the cloud expired. Let's say for example once a year or 2 years I did a 1 month subscription just to get my saved data.. Will it saves forever? Or be deleted if years pass and I did not Re subscribe?

Extra is worth it for sure, will be sticking with this tier. Premium isn't supported enough by Sony so it's not for me, there's sites to use to get my retro fix on out there
sony needs to provide native ps3 games properly installed & playable on ps5 for us to subscribe to premium..

It would be nice if you put Bravia Core in the premium with Sony movies and TV programs or at least a couple of tickets every month to redeem the latest releases or have months of subscription.

Premium would have sounded cooler if I had the ability to play the games without depending on cloud gaming. Some games like Gravity Rush and the Nathan Drake collection sound fun to have but I refuse to play around with premium if a lot of the ps3 stuff is cloud.

It was only there to bridge the gap between ps4 and ps5

The good thing about the ps now service was that it was cheaper to stream classic games if didn't want to rent or play online multiplayer at the same time. If this plus membership could be improved, then maybe this way: if only want the tenth monthly payment, can choose one of the three extra, premium or essential

Ps plus shouldve stayed at 60 for a year, they just trying to see how much people are willing to pay for online. If people start to leave and not pay the 80 bucks they'll bring it down. Im positive

You didnt buy the game with the subscription. This is only for the 3 monthly games. The libary is more like a rental

I do love premium (giz another discount for both new and existing subscribers plx) but the catalogue for PS1/PS2 titles really is lacking in comparison to how many great games there were. It's a minor complaint as I've definitely gotten my moneys worth and I know licences expire but I'd love to rack up some trophies replaying some oldies. Legacy of Kain, Armored Core, Grandia 2, C&C, Bloody Roar just to name a few I'd like to see on there personally

Really love this service from Sony, it far surpasses GamePass, most months add 1 or 2 titles I'm interested in. Plus, with games like Stray and Humanity being added as they launch, it's a great way to play the new titles.
I was with you until you said surpasses gamepass. Gamepass is much cheaper. Your basically paying way more on PlayStation plus.

Essential makes the most sense to me. The access to all the games is nice and all but there isn't enough time to play them all. Especially if you are locked in on some long rpg

My brother recently purchased an essential membership for a month however when he tried playing online, it says he still needs to purchase it. And the ps plus logo does not appear next to his username either. Is there a way to fix this?
