I had 4 favourite parts: 1. When Brother Zachariah said, "Would that I had been here, when you were growing up. I would have seen the truth in your face, Jace Lightwood, and known who you are." 2. When Simon jumps in front of Clary and the Mark of Cain kills Lillith! 3. MAIA AND JORDAN'S KISS #JAIA 4. The whole talk Simon and Luke had at the end about Maureen! LOVED THE BOOK!!!
My favorite line is when Simon, jace and Jordan were talking backstage and Simon was like "did you know you two match" and jace was like "I borrowed this from Kyle" and Simon goes "wow, you're wearing each other's clothes now. I suppose you want to borrow a black tshirt too" and then Simon's like "as long as everybody's wearing their own pants" I was literally laughing for like 10 minutes
My fave part is "'Good organization,' said Magnus. 'I knew the man who founded it, back in the 1800s. Woolsey Scott. Respectable old werewolf family.' Alec made an ugly sound in the back of his throat. 'Did you sleep with him, too?' Magnus's cat eyes widened. 'Alexander!'"

I thought the grocery store scene was interesting because you could get a visual of Simon grabbing a buggy and then him and Jace grocery shopping together. It was a more normal scene, like you didn't have to read about a lot of the action just the casual shopping for food. Although Cass Clare still could throw in the comedy by bringing in the dialogue about the mango because that made me die lol. When those girls walk up to him and give him their number and Simon asks what they wanted and he responded "They wanted to touch my mango." I loved it! #clace

I love when Jace is at Jordan's apartment, and Jordan finally confesses that it's his job to keep an eye on Simon. And Simon says, "So I guess I can't move out then?" and Jordan tells him "Sure you can move out. But I'm coming with you." And then Jace interjects with "I can keep a perfectly good eye on Simon, thank you. He’s my neophyte Downworlder to mock and boss around, not yours." I don't think I've ever loved Jace more.

Before reading city of fallen angels, I was team Maia, because I felt they had more in common. But then we got to meet Jordan and I felt like their (Maia and Jordan) background story was complex, so they're basically meant for each other! So i'm team Isabelle now!
My two favorite funny parts were with Isabelle and Jace about Clary being hurt and with Jace and Simon about mangos. My two favorite romantic parts were Jace and Clary in the rain and when Jace went to see Clary when she was hurt.

I read the 1st book over christmas break and i LOVED it i ordered box set on amazon and went to target and bought City of Fallen Angels and Amazon said the set would be there in 2 days and it took like a weeks so i had CoFA sitting there for a week looking all creepy and amazing and i couldn't read it! BUT I DID READ IT AFTER AND LOVED IT THANK YOU CHRISTINE FOR RECOMENDING THESE BOOKS!
i loved all the banter between jace and simon! it was my favorite part, OMG my favorite part was when jace was watching jordan play the video game xD! Ahh and i loved the whole isabelle simon thing going on. at the end when there was that super intense moment and then everyone walked in i was like ARGGGGG damn the backup! they should have taken longer to arrive!

the ending was such a cliff hanger and i am trying to read the books in the right order so i have to read clockwork prince and then i can read CoLS. Now this part is a long shot, because Magnus had said that demons are too weak to cast such curses on to people after they have been trapped in a Pyxis, but maybe the curse didn't fall on Will but on the knife, because it would be easier to put a curse on an object than a person, right? Maybe that's why he has attempted to kill Clary with it, "All who will love you will die..." Jace loves Clary, and because he owns the knife now, the curse starts to work on him? A long shot, but a thought.
This book was amazing. Frustrating, yet amazing. I finished it more quickly than usual but I couldn't stop. I was really looking forward to a happy ending, then the last scene with jace & Sebastian. Augh!!!! Really, Cassandra Clare?!? All hail the queen, these books are amazing.

Before they found out about each other, i wanted Maia to end up with Simon, but then, after they knew, Isabelle was the only one willing to talk to him and Maia was just completely ignoring him. So I think he's with Isabelle now.
I was kinda cheering on Maia at the end of the 3rd book because they had the downworlders relationship and Izzy just liked downworlders to like them so I was kinda hoping for him and Maia to be together now I hope she gets with Jordan

I'm reading book 3 and so far it is my favorite, I love the characters, the world, the story and the action. About the second triology of the series, I read all kind of reviews and I'm a bit worried that it will go downhill :( Is the story and action in the same spirit as the first triology or is it slower, maybe less mythology oriented and more love stories? PS: I love Malec :) Hope they get some nice moments to.
Maaan I was hoping she would mention that one scene in the bridal shop where Luke and Simon were explaining what white symbolizes for a woman in mundane weddings and Jace , from hearing Simon telling them that Jocelyn decided not to wear white , basically saying that Jocelyn changed her mind because she already lost her *cough cough* “purity” lol

Before reading city of fallen angels, I was team Maia, because I felt they had more in common. But then we got to meet Jordan and I felt like their (Maia and Jordan) background story was complex, so they're basically meant for each other! So i'm team Isabelle now!

My two favorite funny parts were with Isabelle and Jace about Clary being hurt and with Jace and Simon about mangos. My two favorite romantic parts were Jace and Clary in the rain and when Jace went to see Clary when she was hurt.

I just finished this today Loved it, could not be more obsessed with the series! So nervous to read the next one I am so used to having all the books waiting for me since I just stared reading them recently how will I ever wait for city of heavenly fire?? I guess I will have the TID series to keep me busy!

I read the 1st book over christmas break and i LOVED it i ordered box set on amazon and went to target and bought City of Fallen Angels and Amazon said the set would be there in 2 days and it took like a weeks so i had CoFA sitting there for a week looking all creepy and amazing and i couldn't read it! BUT I DID READ IT AFTER AND LOVED IT THANK YOU CHRISTINE FOR RECOMENDING THESE BOOKS!
i loved all the banter between jace and simon! it was my favorite part, OMG my favorite part was when jace was watching jordan play the video game xD! Ahh and i loved the whole isabelle simon thing going on. at the end when there was that super intense moment and then everyone walked in i was like ARGGGGG damn the backup! they should have taken longer to arrive!

It's not...I think it might be the one Will brought with him from Wales. It says in City of Glass that it's a silvery box with birds on it and the Herondale ring has a bird pattern on it.
the ending was such a cliff hanger and i am trying to read the books in the right order so i have to read clockwork prince and then i can read CoLS. I have all her books and i am almost done and its sad that we have to wait until march for clockwork princess and then CoHF doesnt come out until next year GAHHH!!!!
so u said theres a will in clock work prince right? well could it be the same will that magnas had relashions with? magnas did say he was a shadow hunter and magnas has the will guys cigar box with a W and a H on it and he said it was wills.
Now this part is a long shot, because Magnus had said that demons are too weak to cast such curses on to people after they have been trapped in a Pyxis, but maybe the curse didn't fall on Will but on the knife, because it would be easier to put a curse on an object than a person, right?
Maybe that's why he has attempted to kill Clary with it, "All who will love you will die..." Jace loves Clary, and because he owns the knife now, the curse starts to work on him? A long shot, but a thought.
This book was amazing. Frustrating, yet amazing. I finished it more quickly than usual but I couldn't stop. I was really looking forward to a happy ending, then the last scene with jace & Sebastian. Augh!!!! Really, Cassandra Clare?!? All hail the queen, these books are amazing.
YEAHH I think that knife is cursed or something, and every time I was reading the book I was like COME ON JACE THROW IT AWAY!!!! But apparently it was just Lilith 🤷🏼♀️

Before they found out about each other, i wanted Maia to end up with Simon, but then, after they knew, Isabelle was the only one willing to talk to him and Maia was just completely ignoring him. So I think he's with Isabelle now.
I was kinda cheering on Maia at the end of the 3rd book because they had the downworlders relationship and Izzy just liked downworlders to like them so I was kinda hoping for him and Maia to be together now I hope she gets with Jordan

I love how you have the same thoughts as me, although I never thought of the connection with the box... but anyway i love Jace and Simon's relationship too! they are sooo hilarious!! Ahhh I love them!! But the Sebastion thing KILLED me!!! I hated him sooo much and he's just...he's just gonna ruin everything D: waaaah!
But I also like Isabelle a whole lot better in this book too. Probably better than Clary now. Oh, another thing that bugged me was how Jace and Clary would keep making out but
were i love we got it 2 weeks late.but somehow teh bookstore had one reserved like a week before the rest of queenstown,so i was the first one in qtown to read it. zomg it felt like me soul was completed, i have always loves isabelle because my names izzy(isabelle) and i have a pact to love characters with mt name. i must have rad it in a dfferent mind set cuz i cried all the way through it. to me it felt like cuty of bones and more like a lead in book, likes shes tryig to get the plot going!!!

i like how we see jace and simon are together for alot of the time...its adorable...clarys best friend and boyfriend somewhat getting along!!! lol

I love Jace! Why the heck is he linked to Sebastian! Plus that part where Isabelle and Clary where talking about Sebastian and how Isabelle will always call him that instead of Jonathan because of Jace I thought was so sweet! I really didn't like Isabelle until this book!
omgg, yes, i loved this! i HATED how the end happened cause like now we have a jace problem!!! and ahhh!!! and hey, i think Will might be still alive! cause every time they mentioned Will they never said if he was dead or not right? cause like alec was like to camille "he's dead right" or something and camille like says something else so, hmm! im thinking tessa is gonna show up sometime too. im actually starting to like simon more now, i found him annoying before but i really like him now!
I'm reading book 3 and so far it is my favorite, I love the characters, the world, the story and the action.
About the second triology of the series, I read all kind of reviews and I'm a bit worried that it will go downhill :(
Is the story and action in the same spirit as the first triology or is it slower, maybe less mythology oriented and more love stories?
PS: I love Malec :) Hope they get some nice moments to.

Maaan I was hoping she would mention that one scene in the bridal shop where Luke and Simon were explaining what white symbolizes for a woman in mundane weddings and Jace , from hearing Simon telling them that Jocelyn decided not to wear white , basically saying that Jocelyn changed her mind because she already lost her *cough cough* “purity” lol

I also love the grocery store scene it was so hilariously awkward and weird and like I just loved the simon/jace moments in this book it kept me up till 3 in the morning laughing my head off
