Alec got sassy in COHF. I liked it.
Also no one brought up the London Institute. Jessamine was the 'force' protecting it obviously. It hard to think of Jessie as a bad ass ghost protector.
I can't be the only one who actually really liked Jordan and cried when he died? Right? RIGHT? And the Malec an Sizzy feels were strong in this book.
I got emotional when sebastian (that bastard) died and jonathan's spirit emerged, like... i cried... because of sebastian, like wtf? weirded out
I cried really hard when Emma sees a tapestry on the wall, where Jace and Clary stand in front of the angel. That's when it hit me: a thousand years from that moment, other Shadowhunters would still remember their names and what they did. They'll be eternal.
I really hope Simon eventually remembers as much as he can, if not everything. He has so much he should remember! And I want him and Clary to be parabatai!

So I was in my school library the other day, and I've read CoHF many times on my kindle, but I was bored so I picked up my schools book version, AT THE VERY END IN COMIC BOOK STYLE WAS TESSA AND JEMS WEDDING IN LONDON IN 2009 AND JACE AND CLARY AND MAGNUS AND ALEC AND IZZY AND SIMON WERE THERE!!!! AND BEST OF ALL, WILL, IN SOME SORT OF GHOST VERSION!!!

I hate that Tessa never told Clary that she is Jace's great great grandmother Arrrrrgh!!!! why keep it as a secret. Jem never said his real freacking name!! The book was awesome though.
i feel like the reason alec was so moody and annoying in the first few books was becase people were less accepting about him being gay but once he came out and him and magnus became a thing he got a lot happier and more involved and we got to see alec the way magnus sees him
