1999 is gonna have a romance system and it's gonna be a total bi-panic update. But yes you do need to play through a significant chunk of its story to get there. You won't regret it, the story is gonna get pretty wild! :) The red symbol above enemies their heads mean that you can perform a finisher on them btw.

@GameWithHovia you actually missed many finisher opportunities. But there are 2 types of finishers. The Parazon finishers which usually trigger when heavy enemies drop their health below a certain threshold. This kills them immediately, increases some of its loot and triggers one of the effects you have modded for, but since you're new, you probably haven't modded for this yet. The second type of finisher is with your melee weapon. You can trigger these either when the enemy is unaltered or you can open enemies up for them with abilities such as Excalibur or Arthur's Radial Blind ability (I think the second ability).
1999 Is the latest in a long running series of warframe story quests, You do not need to get to the endgame, but you do need to finish all the quests to be able to play it, otherwise it wouldn't make sense at all. The story starts once you reach Uranus planet with the "Second dream" quest (amazing quest btw).
Warframe can feel overwhelming to new players. The developers do take measures to make the learning curve easier though, and as you can see the community is very helpful and active. My advice? Pace yourself. Don’t rush to the endgame. The 1999 content you saw isn’t going anywhere. Additionally, don’t focus on finding the best Warframe or weapon out there. You can worry about tier lists once you reach the lategame. Part of the fun is finding out for yourself which loadout works best for you. There’s a _lot_ of unique gameplay out there. You’ve really only scratched the surface. If you think the 1999 demo felt like another game entirely, you ain’t seen nothing yet. And yet, somehow it’s all connected in lore. Warframe gameplay is deceptively simple, yet Warframe lore is a mind-bogglingly deep rabbit hole. I’m glad to see that you’re enjoying yourself… because once the story ramps up on the “Second Dream” quest, you’ll start to realize just how crazy this Wonderland is. Welcome to Warframe, kiddo.

@@MEYH3M not sure, my monitor is a 3440 x 1440 resolution so I have to manually adjust the size in windowed mode so everyone can see everything instead of letting it be cropped out.
@@GameWithHovia Oh so it's 43:18 is Ultra wide i believe, You could adjust your recording software (OBS or...) for this aspect ratio and youtube should automatically adjust to it, or you could use black bars. But yeah manually adjusting by stretching the source is usually not the best way to do it. Great vid otherwise :)

The monitor is so overkill but I ended up falling in love with it 😭 I’ve tried so many times but sadly OBS only goes up to 1920x1080 for resolution 😞 I’ve been changing the actual game to windowed mode then resizing it from there. Usually it turns out fine but for some reason Warframe is the only one that messes up. I could leave it with black borders but I really hate how it looks 😅 hopefully OBS and Twitch will allow 43:18 soon 😭

Are you playing with 4:3 aspect ratio ? looks weird on youtube cuz it's 16:9
