Today I follow up a video I made back in February of this year. In that video I warned my followers and the people in the sports card community that the market is manipulated with inflated card prices.
Where Gary Vee publicly touted that the 86 Fleer Jordan rookie would go up to a 1 million dollars, I instead warned the world that the opposite would happen. The Michael Jordan rookie has dropped from $738,000 in January to $288,000 in June, which is a $415,000 decrease in the last 115 days.
As you can clearly see I was right and Gary Vee was wrong.
Please note, that I have millions of dollars invested in the sports card industry, and I want it to thrive. However, with people manipulating the market, not only will the sports market crash by the end of 2024, as I recently predicted, but the hobby will be ruined as well.
The reason being, there will be no more trust, as people will finally realize that the people they looked up to and believed in this industry really didn’t have their best interest and were primarily focused on making money.

@@rickcalvert2029 you do realize some of these sale prices are for manipulating the market to drive prices back up right. It won't work, the economy isn't great and we may have a shutdown again. You need to understand big card dealers will try doing anything to keep their cards high just like the stock market. The wealthy dealers don't want to lose their cash cow.
Everyone should of known there is no way that card or any card would keep up those inflated prices.
But you need to take the L on the Carr rookies. 🤣😂
It wasn't that hard to predict a correction on that card and the hobby. That's like saying a plane will eventually come down from the sky.
Dave is wrong. Not 2024. These cards will drop 90% within next 12 months.
