I cut out the baffles like this about 18 yrs ago on a 1999 Honda Shadow 1100. Just wanted to see what was in there. I couldn't believe how good it sounded. Had people who had bought aftermarket exhaust ask me how it sounded so much better than theirs! Got compliments all the up until a truck murdered it a couple years ago. What a great mod!
I used a two inch hole saw to get my baffles out, I also upgraded the stock air filter with a Bikemaster filter. Then I rejet the carb, which is now sounding quite nice. There is a little mountain nearby that I used to adjust the carburetor correctly. I can now use engine braking with no popping noise! When I put the correct jet in, it only popped once when decelerating the throttle. A few more tweaks, and zero popping. 🙂
Some Italian Tears dropping on mine, tears of laughter thinking how better some Ducatis and Guzzis sound and how stronger they run compared with most HDs with loud pipes, plus they can take corners 😈 I tested one 1340 Softail with drag pipes in the 90s, the engine was sluggish and the pipes made almost my ears bleed. Back on my Trident 900 I was like "man, THIS is an engine". I give you that some BMWs sound like sh*t though.
@@Mavrck-it2kq 🤣A statement can hardly come any sillier (and more irrationally nationalist) than that. Hopefully, you can still ride a horse or a motorcycle despite that huge pair of American balls you have to carry.
I just cut the mufflers off mines and just left the pipes with the chrome covers did your jetter kit I bought from you and it sounds amazing and loud too
I drilled out the baffles on my 1100. I didn't like the sound until i sent my friend in town with it. I also didn't realize it was that loud. I could hear it until he pulled off my road 5 miles away😂
Used a 2" on my 750. Much better than stock, and will hold me over til I get custom pipes 🤘 Any recommendations for rejetting a 750 dual carb with baffles removed and k&n air filter?
What about the fuel consumption? I changed the stock ones for aliexpress pipes (I wish I could get yours), a conic air filter and the consumption increased like 0'3L - 0'4L.
Hey I’m planning to do this on a magna 750 03 can you get away with just removing the rear baffles or rejetting and upgrading the air filter is needed to avoid messing up the performance? I know there other vids out there but I rather find out from the experts .. thanks
In Denmark the police can do a road side inspection and if the pipes are to load you get a fine of $300. The first time that is. The sixth time the fine is around $2700. If you get stopped with the open ones I don't think they will even bother measuring the noise. I think you will get a neck shot at the spot😂
hvis det er en fra 50 eller 60erne tror jeg ikke de har en ide om de oprindelige db tal. Men hvis du møder op med åbne rør så tror jeg hammeren fald uanset alder på maskinen
I said to a guy at a bike meet hay your head light is on you will waste your battery. He proceeded to rev it. I didnt even realize it was idling. All my bikes sound like badass sports cars. Cus everyone needs to know that loud wives loose lives

One of the many ways white European men have been neutered. Sad really

@@Mavrck-it2kq Sounds like you have learnt a lot about Europe thanks to Foxnews and/or Trump's social media.
Love the boot burners, would love to see a 2-1 exhaust made for the 600s also!
NOTED!
Ever thought about making things for the fury. The only reason I ask is because there's a lot of owners and not that much aftermarket for the bike
Noted, we will see what we can do! Thanks!

Thanks to you or YT for the translated audio track, it's much better to learn from your videos here in Brazil
✌
Thanks for the video
Thanks for the comment!!!!
I cut the stock pipes short and it runs just fine. I have the SROC flagship bike built by Bald eagle customs.
lets see that thing!
You gonna make them boot burners for the shadow 750 soon?
Absolutely in the works
I did that to my vlx600 took the baffles out my stock pips I love the sound to me.
RIGHT ON
How tall are you? I wanna build a bobber and i know the 600 is a great bike to do it but me being 6'1" and hefty idk if id need bigger.

Most likely
I don't mind the stock pipes or drilling the last baffle out. The short open pipes are not to my taste.
To each their own
Don’t got a shadow my wife does. I got a gl1200 Goldwing, I took that book box muffler off and run straight headers hehe 😅
Hell yeah

Me gusta como suena,i like it

Now if only you made pipes for the '88 VT1100C
Maybe some coming down the "pipe"line
I wonder how difficult it would be to tie those pipes together and time the exhaust pulses for better scavenging?🤔
Not sure, try it out and let us know!
How about just cutting off the whole pine cone off the stock exhaust?
ive been wanting to do that to my pipes. Anyone done this?
@@antlerriverpress788 Go for it, but it wont sound very good
And know tht messing with your exhaust will mess with your carbration. So if you take stock baffles out then what i do is baffle it another way
Open pipes, rebuild carb, install velocity stack, GO FOR A RIP!!
AMEN
“Not legal in California” 😂
its true.....
Cool
I wouldn´t take the mufflers off
Thats cool
Big flat spot in your torque curve for sure

Actually, the loud pipes saves lives theory, there’s been several studies showing that your dad made me a sandwich.
