Procreate let’s you blossom and have fun, Photoshop is the heavy duty program with a foothold in the professional world. I say that all three (Procreate, Photoshop, and CSP) work seamlessly between each other as a sort of personalized workflow. Need to switch your document from Procreaate to Photoshop? Simple just save it accordingly and import. Vice versa? Yep. As a semi-professional artist that works in 9 hour sessions, all three of them carry my work flow in their own ways.

Photoshop is idiotically expensive. The price difference between it and Procreate is just laughable

I had photoshop and canceled my subscription for this reason! Why am I paying £9.99 a month when I can pay a one off £8.99 for procreate and my work will look a lot better

I use Photoshop snd Procreate and can say photoshop wins every time. Hovewer your opinion will depends on what kind of creative you're and ofcourse your wallet

What about affinity photo?
As someone who has used Photoshop for most of the differenr things its intended for I know what it is capable of. Comparing Procreate to photoshop based soley on what features they share how do they compare? Never used orocreate but it seems like drawing and animating are much more fun to do there.
Procreate can connect to second monitor , so screen size doesn’t matter, and procreate hv quick menu, that’s solved the shortcut problem.
I've been using procreate for years and didn't even know that was a feature, how does that work exactly? do u need another apple device for it to work?

i like both because in procreate you can make a 3d model and make your own comics and digital art photoshop you can edit your photos and make posters and make digital art also you can make your own graphic design
photoshop every time, but procreate is very friendly...i like it too.

Sometime I don't understand why people compare Photoshop and Procreate. Those two are totally two different types of software. Drawing is one of the functions which Photoshop have, but it is a photo editing software. Their company both have their own target users.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. I'm guessing it's the animation aspect of Photoshop that is intresting in this case. We'll keep that in mind for upcoming videos soon

I hate photoshop with a passion so without even watchong the video procreate wins, but the best option imo is clip studio paint. It does everything photoshop does plus more, and is way more intuitive. Their custom brushes after some adjusting also can compete with procreate. The only thing Ive found that Id say is better than what csp has to offer are the straight lines and shape tools for procreate along with a few other small things. Clip studio has an incredible amount of features specifically for illustrations and comics,

procreate isnt released for pc yet
And will never be, their developers and creators says that they only did it specially for iPad os since the beginning. U can search about it in their social networks, they keep saying again and over again since 10 years now, procreate is only for IPad os, and procreate is also part of the apple ecosystem, mot wonder ehy always appear in the new iPads adds or trailers
$10 once for Procreate or $240 yearly for basic PS for hobbyist the math is pretty simple.
if your a paid professional, then the cost doesn't matter cause it can be written off!
Love Photoshop and Procreate, but Procreate is the way to go
Desktop? Ps is king cause of brushes, Procreate is better on iPad cause of interface and usability.
What about Photoshop on the ipad?
It’s comically devoid of features on the iPad, use Adobe Fresco if you’re gonna use an Adobe program on the iPad

Simply put, procreate can't compete unless you need to be mobile, in which case Photoshop can't compete.
Not being sa professional, Procreate is the best. It is powerful and inexpensive.
I pay 10$/month for photoshop
