    Yea. Modular syntheses can be very rewarding but also very time consuming. I do like it and use it in some specific cases. Nice video for beginners.

      Totally agree, it is definitely time consuming. I won't be wheeling out any mod synths for commercial projects with tight deadlines, but I do find it incredibly fun when searching for new sounds and getting hands on and creative. A lot of the time, if I find a sound I like, I sample it and reuse it as a Kontakt library or Logic Pro sampler library, particularly if it's hardware as I'm never going to get the same sound twice haha.

The only way to save hardware presets is making photos of the settings and connections... fortunately it is simple and free to make photos nowadays (using smartphones) because, long ago (when modular synthesis started) photos were not cheap, but then, neither modular moogs... ah... ah... stay safe.
