I know that Android Auto supports only Driving mode. But is there any way to use the motorbike mode when using AA with Parkvision? Based out of India, the motorbike mode is essential for me since many high speed motorways dont allow bikes.
As long as your phone supports it. The Parkvision just mimics your phone. So if you are using Android Auto in auto mode on your phone, it will also be in that mode on the Parkvision

Hi :). Does the rain affects the touchscreen? When using my phone to navigate, I have the problem of rain hitting my screen and it press random buttons and exit my map from time to time. Does this happens with this device?
They're all the same everyone of them. With the exception of the software they use even the box they come as identical. My work around four Siri took several hours to figure out. My SENA unit has a pairing procedure called "selective phone pairing" it's like a second Bluetooth channel that you connect to your phone. That's how I got my Siri to work other than that the unit is listening to your phone for Siri commands and not your headset.
Thanks. yeah I can't get it to use the headset buttons to activate Siri. It only works if I press the mic button on the screen and then it will activate the mic in my helmet. I'm going to play around with it some more with my headset. Thanks for the info!
Hi. I just commented on the other video about this. I see your comment Joe and I looked up a Fodsports. It looks like they only allow you to pair one thing at a time with their devices. My Cardo is similar to Steve’s Sena in that it has extra Bluetooth channels. So this shortcoming is on the Fodsport. The Parkvision actually accommodates the extra Bluetooth channel. I thought it might also be worth mentioning the reason our phones overheat and shutdown is because of the battery and battery protection system. I hazard to guess this lack of a battery is why the Parkvision can handle high heat and low temps. That being said I haven’t experienced the volume issues on mine for some reason. Doesn’t make sense to me why. I’ll need to mess with it more maybe.

It sure looks like it. I can't confirm as I don't have the Ottocast one. But when I was researching which one to buy, they all looked exactly the same with same features. Like many products being sold today, many are the same, just branded and sold under another name

I'm in love as well with all the features this device has to offer... but what keeps me away from getting one is the fact that the GPS only works with cell coverage. El dispositivo C5 Cast simplemente apesta. Lo instalé en mi motocicleta y funcionó muy bien durante un par de días... después de eso, simplemente dejo de funcionar. Que sucedio?.. bueno, primero al pasar por una ciudad o pueblo o cualquier lugar con muchos carros o edificios, empezo a recibir mucha interferencia y desconectaba mi headset, despues se reiniciaba solo sin razon, tenia que desconectarlo de la fuente de energia ya que el boton de encendido/apagado no respondia. Una vez que reiniciaba, trabajaba bien un par de horas y nuevamente se reiniciaba. Total, un dolor de culo. Al final ya no reconocia mi smartphone y no hacia el wifi straming del carplay, solo se conectaba via BT de manera intermitente y seguia reseteandose solo. Termine regresando el producto y me devolvieron mi dinero via Mercado Libre (Latam). No me malinterpreten, es una gran idea y un gadget muy util para nosotros que andamos en moto casi a diario, pero siento que le hace falta al producto madurar y en las siguientes versiones posiblemente sea mejor y todos estos problemas se resuelvan. Por lo pronto, esperare de nuevo unos meses mas para volver a adquirir el producto. Saludos y buena rodada para todos!
It's not a GPS, it's Android Auto and Carplay. So that depends on what mapping program you use and if you can import GPX files into that app on your phone
The C5 Cast device just sucks. I installed it on my motorcycle and it worked great for a couple of days... after that it just stopped working. What happened?... well, first when passing through a city or town or any place with many cars or buildings, it started to receive a lot of interference and it disconnected my headset, then it restarted itself for no reason, I had to disconnect it from the power source now The on/off button didn't respond. Once I rebooted it would work fine for a couple of hours and then reboot again. Overall, a pain in the ass. In the end, it no longer recognized my smartphone and did not stream carplay wifi, it only connected via BT intermittently and kept resetting itself. I ended up returning the product and they refunded my money via Mercado Libre (Latam). Don't get me wrong, it's a great idea and a very useful gadget for us who ride motorcycles almost daily, but I feel that the product needs to mature and in the following versions it will possibly be better and all these problems will be solved. For now, I will wait a few more months to buy the product again. Greetings and good riding to all!

Mine has a battery. Must be a diff one than you have. My time is always correct. Bike. Sits for weeks.

You forgot the most important feature.... GPS depends on Cellular GPS. No coverage...no navigation.

Can you inport GPX files?

Why don’t you just go the whole hog & fit a 50” smart TV in front of your windshield & watch movies while you’re riding ?
Because the largest mount that fits is a 42" tv. If you find a motorcycle mount that fits a 50" screen let me know!
