Well I put this bumper on today. I watched your video I noticed something that will help others out. The first brackets you install you have reversed. If the top is sealed not the bottom sealed you do not have to cut anything. Use the 2nd and 4th holes let it go all the way down. After everything is installed use a jack and loosen the bolts for the winch plate slightly and jack it up to take the gap out.
One thing that I would recommend is to run a tap through the threaded bolt holes. Even with plugs in place, some powder coat got in the threads. Just finished putting one on my 2003 F250.
I would like to thank you for the video!!! You saved me a couple hours today. I just put the same bumper on my f350 today. The instructions were more like destruction than instructions! The rear bumper was also missing a couple steps.
I wish I would have watched this before I attempted installing mine. What a pain this bumper is, going at it solo sucks too. Hopefully with this vid and some other helpful comments, I can finish this thing up on my truck
Very helpful , also mile marker sec18 installation instructions are the same very incomplete and lacking detail. It’s also amazing how few videos are done on winch/bumper installs. Thank you
You mounted that way to high shouldn't have had to cut the grill and the cross-member support on the bottom wouldn't be hanging lower than the bumper. You also need space for frame flex under the lights. I really wish Fab Fours would have put the correct angles to match the grill at the bottom I almost want to get a naked bumper from them so I can weld some on then coat it.
Thank you Sir. My project will be more plotted out because of your video.
Agreed- Nice bumper but no instructions is weak.
13:45-13:48 is where it is damn near impossible... That's like a 2 hour time warp.
