    Hi, I have an older gl class (2008) and have a problem where rear right side is lover than all 3 sides. Before it was leaking, till it blown up. Now I have replaced suspension air bags on both rear sides. After change, the car looks unlevel at back. I did change a hight sensor on right side, but after all the problem is still there, where do I need start to look ? Even the Mercedes workshop arent helping, they are only guesing that its some where in wires, and charge per hour they use, to find the problem.

    Does the compressor goes off like let's say every hour or so there is no malfunction light what is the problem if there's one thanks

    • @YOUCANIC
      @YOUCANIC  Рік тому +3

      If your system is in good condition, the compressor should run for a few seconds then turns off. If it is running a lot you have a leak (in most cases).

    My warning light didn’t start appearing until after I had to have the right front strut replaced on my 2012 GL550. Coincidence or connection? Should I address this with the mechanic that replaced that strut? Or treat as a completely different issue?

    • @YOUCANIC
      @YOUCANIC  2 місяці тому

    I have the malfunction light come on 5-10-15-30 minutes later, but the rear passenger suspension is way lifted/higher compared to the remaining 3 suspensions. What's the cause of this? Is it problem #2?

      @theotherhalfoftheang Yes, I fixed the problem. The self-leveling sensor in the rear passenger was broken, but nothing with the compressor for me. Had to get the self-leveling sensor replaced, and now it levels evenly.

      @nottryinghard1023 what happens to mine is that shows the suspension light up and the rear lowers down, when i wait for a while I'm able to lift it up with the lift botton and stays like that if its not moving but after driving for 5 minutes it shows light again and goes lower, 2 mechanics have checked and they seem to not find any physical problem with it, it's so annoying, any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

    • @nottryinghard1023
      @nottryinghard1023 8 місяців тому +1

      @theotherhalfoftheang It could mean that there is a leakage in the airbag for the air suspension. Maybe you should try taking out the suspension and inspecting it. Unless the mechanics already did that.
