I am trying to figure out what's happening here.. just to examinate your outliner.. So my guess is that you have a thread static mesh which is a u shaped tube. You got a cloner, that clones the tubes on the shirt mesh and the scale is setted to 0 ...You have two effectors parented to each other.. the first is scaling up the cloned tubes and right after that the second is scaling it down.. but i have no idea how you doing that the shirt mesh become visible when you push trough the effector.. a tutorial would be nice.. also am i close to the solution? anyway have a good vacation.. xd

To be honest, I haven't worked much on the shaders in this project; the black and white effect is actually the result of that =D. It takes time to get the threads and the texture they're on to match regardless of the lighting. In my case, it's a raw Quixel shader. Right now, I'm exploring cloth in Unreal, and I should have something more polished in the next project.
I mainly use the cloner and effectors that were added with the motion design toolbox in Unreal 5.4. I plan to explain the process more thoroughly when I get back from vacation :)
