I Found the issue :if you try clone objects that were already added before opening motion design then it does not work. Make sure you enter motion design then add objects and cloners.

Or maybe someone in the comment's already figure it out? (When you apply a new MAT to the "thread", it doesnt change nothing" The mat stay grey.

Any optimizations that you can think of for doing something like this on a mesh that has a highter tri count? It seems the cube boolean is really hindering performance with a mesh that has a lot of tris.
is it possible to have the cloned threads inherit the color of the portion of the shirt they are on? so if you have a team jersey with an intricate logo of many colors, it wouldn't make sense that all threads are gray for example.
You need to project your logo with decal as I show at the end of the video. I dont have figured solution to directly match the texture of a mesh for the moment.

There are many bugs in motion design at present. The animator's effect is unstable and the rendering output cannot work. Text strokes cannot be saved and the rendering output cannot be saved. The material designer's multi-effect overlay cannot be saved. The SVG model generation axis is automatically offset and many effects fail. . . Most bugs are related to material designer animator SVG. . .
How does your FPS stay so high? My FPS completely tanks to a powerpoint at the end :( (5900x + 3080) Whenever I take the cube, do boolean and subtract and tshirt (in your case) as target, it kills fps to 2 or something
Hello, there is 2 possibilities, I break my framerate easily if I have to much polygons on the mesh using boolean. Or if I have to much polygons on thread particles.
I'm working hard watching your tutorial. But there's one thing I can't do. I attached decals to my clothes. And when I move the effector myself, it works fine. But when I animate the effector's movements on the sequencer, the decals fall off. Why is that?
The fact that this runs this fast in realtime is why UE5 is making waves!

iv tried to get the cloner to appear on mesh but it doesnt show.let me know if you have a work around.

not a fix but I duplicated the sequence and render worked that way 👍

@@sumours I see what you mean. But it only breaks the fps the moment I select subtract. Every step before that, everything is completely fine
@@NelVFX85 Yep too many polygons on the mesh you applied boolean (in my video the T shirt is very low poly for this reason)
