13:17 I can't recall which tourney it was but when Slayers revealed to the world how blue flame hellions were meant to be used... My god what a weekend! I'll never forget hearing Day9 repeatedly shout "Liiiine em up!" The entire meta shifted in one weekend. ❤
Love the mass overseer. It is a much worse but more offensive than mass command center. When the changelings are blocking choke points and the overseers are coving the army soaking up damage it is beautiful to watch.
Sir Richard, the first of his name, was called into battle! He led from the front, and though he fell in battle, he inspired the Zerg to win both the battle and the war! Was it worth it? That's for the history books to decide.
Man mass changeling keeps looking sooo good. Its such a smart innovation. Its just free space occupation on the offense and defense. Its a fleshy/macro version of force fields that only rouge has shown the use of. The ability to ensnare with the mass networks then using the changelings to gum up resupply lines is genuinely revolutionary in this game
@ “we decided to change the changelings so they are immediately attacked by idle units, they are trained soldiers, it would be fitting to the lore if they notice enemy spies.”
Mass overseers remind me of the old terran nuke strategy. Just spam them on the worker lines. More for psychological stress and to strain your APM than to actually do economic damage.
That last game was sad. Rogue wanted to give poor Ryung some decent games by playing at barely 40% and getting a "hard" 2-0, but then Ryung made the mistake to think he is close and got a win.
I can't believe Rogue squandered the mid-part of game 1 so bad, he had the economy, the hatcheries, just add in 2 spines & 2 spores at each base to stop any harass, push the creep all over the place, & Ryung can't break the contain?
Mutas should be much cheaper. 100 minerals 100 gas should be > 50 minerals but its 100 minerals 100 gas < 50 minerals. Make them 75 minerals and 20 gas
A muta should be 75 minerals and 25 gas? That's absurd. I swear Zerg players can come up with the most outlandish balance ideas. Why not make ghost cost 300/300, 6 supply and make them have less than 20 hp. Is that also a reasonable change in you eyes.
you get to spawn infinite changelings for vision, they're a pain in a the ass to spot and clear, plus you can make it hard for terran to snipe your units with a cloud of overseers on top of them
What I can never somehow understand in these competitive starcraft matches is: the players always use the same build with minor variations between matches. After watching a few matches like these, it kind of feels like watching AI fight eachother. With the only difference that these matches always end relatively quickly unlike AI which likes to drag the match on and on.
I felt similarly when I started watching recently too, but the thing we pure spectators often overlook is the execution component: these strategies only work if the pilot can effectively do EVERYTHING all at once which is so much easier said than done.
??? They typically use different builds on every map in a match. Do you know what a build is? Or are you referring to unit composition? If its the latter then it makes sense why SC2 will get boring quickly.
mutas are the worst unit of the game. They do make sense if you can throw resources like a madman, or hit a little time window when your opponent is caught completely off-guard. otherwise, just no. 57 mutas lost in 5 minutes for...nothing.
@@keep_walking_on_grass They did help keep the mechball from staying together and rolling across the map, not by themselves, but with the Swarm Hosts and Nydus worms. The whole game was about hit and run, including the use of the Mutas.
the first match is a textbook on the issue with sc2. its just nothing but fucking hard counters. its just back and forth ima hard counter ur hard counter. literally the whole army is like 2 or 3 max different units at any time.
But that's the complete opposite of what game 1 was about. The big story of game 1 was Ryung going mech and Rogue using Swarm Hosts, Nydus, and Mutas to keep forcing Ryung to split up the mech deathball so that it couldn't just roll across the map and kill him, all while using Roach Ravager to keep it at bay when the Swarm Hosts couldn't fire.
Winter hopefully you've had a good day so far and hopefully it's about to get just a little bit better
Our overseers will blot out the sun!

I just watched the boxer-idra game. I wasn't prepared for:
- such a young winter
- stimmed cast
- idra leaving without angry comments
I’m doing my part 🫡
same
Would you like to know more?
I'm doing my part
im doing my part!
Watashi wa doing my part
I love the smart inputs here and there. Winter, you are so smart. Pleasure to watch every game casted by you
i saw the title, and my first thought was: "What doesn't make Terrans angry".
Brenda- "Use your words!"
Susan- "no!"
Brenda- "very good.
Susan- *stares at susan menacingly*
I didn't know Zerg could use mirrors. 😂

can confirm, every single zerg player wants to make mutalisk every game.
Let it be known that a Mech Deathball shall henceforth be referred to as a Methball.
More Protoss Mothership action please 🙏

Them: "Play the current meta if you wanna win."
Rogue: "No..."
Still wins the match...
I can't wait for the Zerg/Terran cross over movie "When Brenda Met Billy"

Don't worry. The Terran Balance Council will nerf changelings soon because they're "unfun to play against."
@ “we decided to change the changelings so they are immediately attacked by idle units, they are trained soldiers, it would be fitting to the lore if they notice enemy spies.”
@@vox5505 They are, can you imagine constantly having to fight against free units?
@@RaccManiacc Cry more.

36:53 Winter is kind of a freak and we love it 🤣
I love swarmhosts. On paper they're so good. Free units. To bad it rarely translates to real power
That changelings death was way too funny, I'm rolling 😂
"destiny cloud fist" huskystarcraft truly is a fever dream
I dont want jimmy to lose his job. Imagine him not being able to pay his mortgage. Take my like
I'd like to think Rogue keeps it reasonable. Hive tech is for late game and late game don't start AT LEAST until the 13 minute mark for him.
Great game and cast. Thank you!
I love Rogue, God what "big bro" energy - THE GOAT IS BACK!!!!
Holy sh*t, rogue is absolutely killing it these days. You love to see it!!!
This was a great matchup. Love the unit diversity
00:00:01s of the video, liked and subscribed!
Now I have to go back and see Winter's first casts! Thanks for the idea
i said it before, il say it again. Winter has the best SC content on the internet
Jesus Winter, you looked like Stallone in Rocky IV. Just throw the damn towel man!!
“Fly a little higher and shoot down” 😂
Branda, Suzan and Karen really are my favorite units interaction
that wasnt rouge playing he was Idra
Rogue is the hero we needed.
Guess a changeling/overseer nerf is on the council's menu after a game like this /s
Now THIS made my day A LOT BETTER. THANK YOU. I LOVE ROGUE SO MUCHHHH
33:00 so much fun watching this end
Love Rogue’s style!
Oh so “Suzy Q” is about Zerg, I get it now.
Thx for the vid - keep em coming
Hello there! I'm considering trying this game out, which species would you recommend me to start with? Or should I just try random? Thanks!
What is that accent?
Distinguished.

That was fucking poetry

That third game wast disrespectful.
terrans players don't enough repar,it save ressources,so you can do more units, economic measure emperor impose
omg Ryung just make tuurets at expansions and not only there
STAY OFF MY CREEEEEP
Rogue is one fire lately.
damn i love rogue
But at what cost?
+1 comment for the algorithm to get its bit together.

would it be crazy if the flame thrower cars needed gas?
we'll review rules of challenges surrender
BRENNDAAAAAA!!!!
Rogue went rogue....
Well yes its in the name 😂
can someone explain the purpose of mass overseer?

The thumbnail triggers my trypophobia.
"Destiny cloud fist build" this is some boomer starcraft shit - H to the USKY HUSKY
I saw a video of mass swarms of drones being used in Ukraine. I first thought "OMGosh! Swarm hosts in real life!!"
lol why is Ryung "big tuna"?
Korean name of Ryung is Dongwon, a popular tuna can brand.
Honest question here: if Terrans are the only species which can repair units, why do pro players never repair?
Cyber bullying is real
So "early" the like goal isnt reached yet :D

Is it just me or zerg has too many throw away units that do not cost zerg players i.e. changeling, locus, and broodling?
