I always got so lost in the forums trying to understand the best way to choose picks based on size/style & opinions. Excellent video thank you!

I actually use the JD-L Reso model. The Reso's have a slight bend that for me hits the strings more directly and less on the edge of the pick. Best thumb picks I have ever used!

Interesting! I'd go for the Russ Carson one.

Thanks for the tips! I feel like I'm in between sizes....😩 So I'm using a Golden Gate that I just bought from your website recently. The size is a medium, but it turns my thumb purple after a while of playing. A large is way too big, and I obviously can't wear a small, so I'm just wondering if I should go with the JD medium pick? What do you think!? I also tried a medium in the National, and it slides around.

Thanks Jake!! Hey I have a guitar tech tip request. I have a Larrivee with a truss rod tool. How do you do that? Both types of truss rod adjustments!

I have a JD and like it but I would prefer the steel band with the pick itself on the outside if I really dig in I can hear the string pinging off the steel band, I have polished it and it’s better but still slightly aggravating.

Just installed the Cheat A Keys I like these much better than the Keith Tuners, way easier to use I do Recommend them I'll put a video on them later

Hi Benn, Are the length of the blade different between the large, medium and small from the blade side of the thumb to the blade tip? I want to buy one but don't want the blade to be too short for me. Many thanks

Try holding a piece of paper so that the blades of the picks are more visible. Thanks!

Maybe a zip tie around the thumb for measurement?

I kind of agree my friend, but like everything, price is relative to manufacturing. Apparently the owner makes them in large by hand. No big factory pumping out thousands a minute. Also it's claimed the material is special....which my opinion is that it is indeed special. The thing about freedom is that we consumers can buy whatever the fuk pick we want. Something to consider before making petulant comments. Cheers mate!
