This is the best episode in my opinion. It's one of the best sports interviews I've ever seen. I didn't want it to end. Lamar has dealt with so much pain that he processes it much differently than most of us because even if you grew up in the hood MOST of us don't have a story of trial and tribulation like his, not even close. He's also an incredible storyteller and I can see why he was so beloved in the NBA.
I will always blame that family for adding to his downfall. He obviously was dealing with shit before that, but with a different wife I think things would've been easier for him.

When he turned the Knicks and Heat into contenders is when people saw his hard nosed hard working mentality played a huge part in the teams success

On GOD.... I hated when he said that !!!!
She still in his head
@@SoSoulful89 💯
He made himself a King. No one is a King in Far rockaway Queens
This is one of the most honest, raw episodes. Lamar, you are meant to be here, mannnn.
He feels so heavy when he talks. You can tell he’s been through something real
Very underrated NBA player had some big ass games. Not just remembered as a laker walking triple double at moments.
I respect the hell out of Matt and Jack there are some real dudes and Lamar Odom is the complete definition of blessed I love this show man
Bro this was super hard to watch. I grew up such a fan of his and it’s great seeing him getting back to a better place but man this was tough to watch. Homie has been through so so much
His transparency is most impressive. His perseverance through it all is motivating too! Loved this.
Glad y’all reloaded this. Lol thought it was my phone
The audio still kinda low but imma rock with it
@@timlondon2156 I thought the volume being low was my earphones.
Gentlemen. That was the deepest interview you guys ever done. Thanks for keeping 100 percent real.
We rooting for this dude🙏🏾
This shit is gripping.... excellently done. I love this guy as a human being, he has been through it all and is still able to crack a smile.
Shoutout to Pat Riley. He created a culture that emphasizes HARD WORK as a coach .And today as the executive of the team, it's obviously still there..
Yep early on when he was coaching the showtime lakers people didn’t give him his props lots of people thought he just rolled the ball out and let em run up an down n play. When he turned the Knicks and Heat into contenders is when people saw his hard nosed hard working mentality played a huge part in the teams success
Probably my favorite episode so far. I love LO and love hearing his story. Lamar has always been my second favorite Laker behind Kobe. I'm happy to see him doing well. Thank you for giving us this inside look to one of the most versatile players of all time. Imagine LO in his prime in today's game! He would be killing it.
"kobe had 63... Dallas had 61, in the 3rd quarter" Kobe is madd different LMAOO (31:00)
one of the best games i ever saw. rip kobe
That's insane..
62*
I remember watching the game
That’s why ion wanna hear about Jordan
Who else from NY got goosebumps when he mentioned Tolentine H.S (R.I.P)with Brian Reese,Adrian "Red "Autry and Malik Sealy ( R.I.P) .Autry was a GOD in HS.I remember girls screaming when they announced his name during intros.
Red Autry babe fine as Hell.😹😹
@@cherylwilliams3193 You must have been one of the girls screaming when he was introduced....lol

This one of the best/ realest interviews I’ve ever heard!!!! He was being real. I love it. No fake shit!
This interview made me smile bc you blessed to still be here bro 💯 ! LO starts talking about that day and a smile still comes across his face like “my nigga I was down, like say your final goodbyes to LO” 😁...the get back be so much sweeter when you actually been through some shit !
LO a real 1 for letting us know about having the strength to call Kobe and ask him to settle the debt.
You can tell LO really regrets the breakup with Khloe, and how he handled things.
One of my favorite Lakers. Ron and Him let Kobe do his thing.
I had a youth pastor growing up who used to do the same hard drugs Lamar did, and it’s crazy how neither of them look like they’ve done the hard drugs they said they did. Lamar looks good physically, gotta love the turnaround, I’m always a fan of the comeback stories.
Swear to god I just said I hope he comes on here after the vlad interview Cuz I really feel Lamar’s pain when he lost his mother as I just lost mine a couple weeks ago and I wouldn’t wish this heartbreak on no one
Hold your head my boy
Condolences.. and you're right, Vlad didn't feel like a fan or like he really cared to a degree. It wasn't awful but it didn't feel like he got the best out the interview. Peace to you
Condolences 💐!
Definitely hold yo head high my guy. Sending positive vibes & prayers for you and the fam. 🙏🏽
Man I think this was the best interview. Authentic, genuine and real.
Damn 89-0 let’s goooo All the smoke fam
Edit: Keep L.O protected at all cost
They understand how much a lot of people needed to hear this.
All across the board in any genre, this was one of the most profound interviews I then seen in a long time. #salute
This is my favorite episode hands-down!!!! It was real, emotional and showed the human side of athletes!!! Good for you Matt And Stacks 🔥
Hearing LOs story, only made me work harder. It pushes me more because that dude right there made it thru it all, so there shouldn’t be an excuse to make.
Odom was such a perfect fit on the Kobe Lakers squad. Man I used to love his game, he was never one who wanted to score but he could. He fit the Lakers perfect since he was a all around player with size.
Lamar is my all time favorite 6th man.
Mine too ✊🏾💯
I remember- that was his prime - right off the back of that team usa championship
His story is full of ups and downs to have gone through everything he been through and still be standing strong is a major blessing
Yo this is def my favorite episode to date. I honestly didn't know what to expect from this but damn this was heartfelt and as real as it gets. Thank y'all for this and I'm glad Lamar Odom seems to be in a much better space! Stay blessed and blowin smoke 💯⛽💨🙏🏾
Best Lamar Odom interview I've seen thus far 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯 real n genuine💪🏿
This is by far the deepest episode they had....
The video editor did a great job of piecing this together to 1) make sense and 2) leave out any unwanted/unnecessary details. Now the audio person, that's a different story.
Great to see LO still alive and well. Yea he’s always moving around and looking around but everything he’s been through that’s a small lingering issue
He’s a high as a kite in this
Tim Carter definitely not high but ok
This was a powerful interview. Get these boys their Emmy

Wow this interview is amazing man, They can feel L.O. Pain. He always been one of my favorite players the Kardashian part of his life took over Lamar the player
I was looking for a Lamar Odom sit down. I didn’t expect it too be so open and real. I’ve watched 40 years of basketball and so many interviews. This was raw and strong. Pause. You know what I mean. For anyone struggling that needs to see the other side, please listen to this. Mad respect for Stacks and Slim Barnes. Greatness. Mad love for L.O. For showing life.
Wow, this is 1 of the best shows they had. Very deep and powerful episode, shout out to all yah. Love the show, happy for lamar, God bless
The raw footage of this is beyond legendary
Good but troubled dude. One of my all time favorite players. Did everything well. A straight up BALLER.
Lamar was SUPER nice. Growing up and seeing him ranked No. 1 with Tim Thomas & Tracy Mcgrady. That whole “He Got Game” era was amazing.
Being a fellow left-hander, Lamar had that butter jumper along with a SMOOTH game. All at 6’10.
Just wish he had that Kobe drive- Then he REALLY wouldve been in that all-time greats Hall of Fame conversation.
Lamar Odom was really living that rockstar life style
This interview is a way better look for Lamar, glad the brother still holding it down after all he's been through...
Keep fighting my guy, and keep ya head up!
Shout's to Matt and Jack for not exploiting the brother for view's, always keeping it solid... ✌️✌️RESPEK!
