Hello Keith, I just wanted to drop a note to thank you, I took my time and was able to make this jig, and tried it out, and it came out perfect, I will use nothing else. 👍👍👍
Great little jig, and one I may have to make soon! I think others have noted, but the T-nut should be installed on the bottom, not the top, since when you tighten the knob, you don't want to pull the t-nut out. If it were underneath, it'd compress into the wood rather than extracting out of it.
After watching your video, I had to make my own. It works perfectly, and knowing ahead of time just how much I would use it I made mine out of solid 1/2" maple. The only thing I did different was run the T-nut in from the bottom. You gave great directions, making it very easy to follow and build. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Keith for the video! I built mine today, to your specs with a slight modification. I put dowel pins in my miter slot block and drilled two sets of holes in the base… one for my band saw and one for my table saw. That way I can easily switch between them (I have a Shopsmith).
Hey I just saw your video last night I’ve got into making a lot of pens would you mind to give me all the measurements on that jig I really would appreciate it very much thanks 🙏🙏🙏
Keith thank you for the jig instructions. Built mine today, although made some minor changes to personalize. Great jig. Looking forward to using it.

Okay, I give up, I will build the jig, tired of the different lengths I cut, great job buddy.
Great jig for pen blanks. I will definitely be making one of these, thanks

I just finished your pen blank sizing jig, works great thanks for the video!
Great video. Inspired me to build my own. Modified it a bit to work on a table saw as I do not have a baddaw yet.
Nice jig. Looks like it is a big time saver.
This is a fantastic idea.
If this is an original idea you could seriously sell this. It's not only useful for pen blanks really, very good idea.
Thanks. I saw something similar in the penn state catalog and just kind of reverse engineered it from the picture in the catalog.
Do you have a set of plans available to download?
Really well done video, and a good sense of humor.
I'll be making one real soon!
Subscribed!

The T-nut should be fitted from the underneath - not on top.
