- Join me today as I give you a tour of Maumee Bay State Park. This Ohio State park is nestled on the shores of Lake Erie just a few miles east of Toledo, OH. There are many outdoor activities waiting for you here such as biking, hiking, swimming or just relaxing in the sun. I am going to show you the beaches and then take you a drive around the park and in the cabin area. To close I take a walk through the swamp lands on their boardwalk. I do encounter some native Ohio wildlife along the way.

The park looks like they do a great job of keeping it clean and the road looks like it is in good condition. The park seems to have a lot to offer. The beach looks very nice. Are you allowed to fish in the ponds? I'm glad you saw the deer before it was to late, they say whenever you see one deer there is usually always more. Looks like they have been busy cutting down trees. I think board walks are so neat as long as there are no snakes on them .I would be walking on the side of the boardwalk with the rail for sure. Nice video
Hey Rita. Yes I do believe you can fish in the ponds. They do a very nice job taking care of this park. So true about the deer, at least we were going really slow. Not sure this had anything to do with the trees but we have lost a lot of ash trees over the last few years due to the emerald ash borer insect. Thanks for watching!
