Dulcich has so much knowledge about old MOPARS it’s actually amazing.
of course he does, he's been at it his whole life...
Like Uncle Tony, but with so much charm and boyish enthusiasm! You wouldn't know the guy is almost 60!
@@jeffrykopis5468, But Steve isn't a know it all like Uncle Tony.
We can't take notes fast enough!
@@MJTAUTOMOTIVE Tony's entitled to be. He's a former editor at Mopar Action magazine, and a former Top Fuel crew chief!
Nothing against these guys but roadkill just isn’t the same anymore
This isn't Roadkill , this is the spinoff Roadkill Garage so you're right , it isn't the same.
I love the 73 and 74 models with the louvers, im basing off my modern 2017 charger off of them by giving it some throwback styling ques.
More content on the Charger PLEASE!
The Mickey Thompson valve covers are worth more than the whole car
I've got a set for small block Chevy, in reasonably nice shape, nobody wanted to give me anything for em 10 years ago. Glad I didn't give them away for 20$
That's the whole point of roadkill, putting expensive parts on clapped put cars.
I can get a set just like those or in black from jegs for $250 including shipping
that chargers probably worth around 4-5k, they’ve gone up in value a bit
I had a 74 SE with black leather seats, floor shift, and a 4bl 400 from the factory. The last GOOD big block B-body. A friend of mine owns it now. Ive also had a 71 and a 68 R/T, 3 Satellites, and many other Mopars.
Getting some real "Wheels Of Terror" vibes from this car!! I've had a bunch of "72's through the years, but always hated the grilles they used on the '73 and '74.
I agree but I would take a 73 or 74 today love them 70s chargers why underrated
they look a lot better when you takeoff the goofy bumper guards, front & back
Dulcich’s new teeth are hysterical!!
Shine in the dark...
enjoyed every minute of this episode , my fav year of Charger ! 73-74 SE , would love to see some front and rear performance sway bars work on this one to see how much time will shave !
Love the upholstery. Gorilla tape also works till it hits 100 degrees 😮😂
The upholstery before the restoration... 🤢
That’s the first time Dulcich hasn’t got lost around an autocross course.😀
That's a tricky course!
It's nice to see the unwanted by collectors 1972-74 Chargers being put back on the road restored or repaired. The only big engineering change was insulating the K frame with rubber isolators. [Update; and rear iso-springs and the transmission mount].
And the rear springs, too.
@@jeffrykopis5468 Oh, okay. I didn't know that. What changes were made to the rear leaf springs?
Love that power-mullet!
The conversations on this UA-cam show seem a bit scripted. Lol
Only a bit? Lmao
almost jewish in a fucked up way
Fakeness is hitting the fan man
You saw that, too, eh?
Where is Freiburger?
IDK, lol
good question....where is the other guys?....if they aint in these videos I'm not interested
probably at home who f n cares
*2 questions. Where's David and WTF happened with those teeth?*
Would you rather spend money at the dentist or the auto parts store ? 😊
Funny how motor trend kills everything it touches like discovery!!! They ran off Finnegan, friburger is touch and go, now they got dulcidge and Chris birdsong trying to save the views and bring more people. Give us back the real roadkill. Not this spin off
Good work boys
Super video.
it needs rich corinthian leather
Or pastel fake fur ? 😊
Gotta Love the Dolcich..
Beautiful specimen 👌 worth reviving 👍
Sorry, not feeling the vibe but really nice Fig tree in the back ground
No respirators, way to go. Not.
That white skyline at the track 😮
As always, roadkill kills it again on another episode.
Glad you liked it!
I was born in April of 1974 I really like the 66 - 74 dodge charger
even professionals forget to tighten lug nuts lol
The Duke Boys Christine! 74 Charger what engine sounds like a small 318
The acting in this one was horrible lol😂
Interesting beard
The hills have eyes!😂
Anyone else noticed that the seats were changed by the end of the episode but never mentioned
Yep
What a classic.
still a bad assl looking charger
Back in the day the 1972 to 1974 dodge charger was not desirable....But now with the shortage of classics their wanted now....
On this week's episode of Bro-dkill Garage...
3:20 - pours/spills gas into engine bay
3:26 - arcs contacts to start engine
Safety first! Or, second? Or, next? 🙂
The sidewall on those tires need some tread. The car was practically riding on the sidewalls haha
Or just make the sidewalls racing slicks lol
@@Garf2O That would work too
I’ve got a 1973 Dodge Charger SE I’m restoring with my dad and it’s got a freshly rebuilt 440 that’s hasn’t been ran yet this episode is my favorite, one question I got is how can I found out what the car came with originally? It has the plaque on the left driver fender but where can I go to find out?
The Fifth digit in the VIN will tell you what engine came with the car. Letters B, C, E are 6's, G- 318, H-340, K-360, M&P-400, one is 2bbl, the other is 4bbl. T&U-440, U being the Hi Perf.
@@RaiderX948 thanks a lot that cleared up a lot for me
Haven’t see. A full episode this decade
I was “Like” number 1000. You’re welcome.
Long Live Uncle Dulcich
Cool. My first car was a 1974 dodge charger. Loved it. Kept breaking front turn signals and beating up the valance. It liked to jump. Way to many good times.
You should drive it cross country !
Think it was his new teeth that weighed the car down
They look kinda scary.
I'm sorry, but this isn't roadkill if David isn't in this episode. He simply can't be replaced. Only seen 1 minute of this and already not liking. Don't know who these other 2 guys are and could care less. Didn't even bother finishing the episode.
The bearded guy is Chris Birdsong ,he has a UA-cam channel, restores Mopars he is very talented.
@@yefenofphotohe is big into chargers
Basically rebuilt the general mayhem.
obviously your not 1968 to 1970 charger guy .probably liked friberg and finnagan with the gremi
@@jripjrip5396 your right I'm not. I love all cars, i don't follow the bandwagon of just liking one brand. Would it offend you if I told you I even like Honda civics and accords, even Toyota Corollas. But guess what, thats not all, even European cars. So Yea, your right, I'm not a dodge charger kinda guy, i like everything that has an engine.
my friend had one in 97 in high school
All that's needed is a helicopter with an insane Sheriff tapping on your roof. Steve, you have the room and the money. Why don't you get a media blaster and use it ? The Charger at the slalom course remindes me of Starsky's Red Torino.
You know what? You guys should fix the A/C that's something I've neeeeeeever seen you guys do. lol
At the louvers on the window it looks like it's a Charger SE?
11:20 look at the r32 skyline
Please wear safety glasses with that wire wheel. Wire in the eye isn't fun. No car like a Mopar...
🤩
Some say Dulcich used to be Val Kilmers stunt double !
Except that Dulcich can actually act
@@kellismith4329 i thought Dulcich seemed a competent mechanic tbh, but your telling me he's just acting the part ? 😅
#jokes
LOL...Street - Strip!
Not the same without David Freiburger
These guys should have show called buzkill. Roadkill isn't Roadkill without Freiburg, Finnigan, or Tony
It sounds like it’s missing not an exhaust leak.
Were these motors smog motors from the factory? Curious on what kind of horsepower and compression they came with from the factory In the 70's, cool car
I bet it makes 120hp on a really good day.
Someone's got new choppers .....
Idea. Pit a ls3 in a toyota prius.
13:01 Matthew McConaughey stunt double ?
When does doing a few maintenance items and a wash = restoration?
No David, no roadkill, Steve’s cool but this is a joke
Frickin things an extinct prehistoric dinasaur
Think if the car had less dents or not as noticeable dents I would love it more, but with all the dents it looks way to trash xD
chargers are the best
Never realized chargers were so slow .
That’s a lie , some chick I knew in schools older brother had one minus the small block.
It was faster than you think when traction was available.
My daily driver is a 1982 dodge charger so any parts yall don't want ill gladly take off your hands. Or if you find yourselves in Phoenix AZ and want to help wrench on it
Who are these people w Dulcich?
junkerup and new guy
Just shows, go buy what you like and can afford and have fun.
Dulcich and road courses don't mix
The torsion bar front suspension was and still is superior to the unequal length control arms, upper control arm/spring designs,...... and this car is worn out!
After cleaning that charger out I hope they all got their tetanus shot.
My bad , it was a 70 .
Needs a healthier engine sound. Drop a 400 in it.
With a 440 crank!! 451 cubic inch 531 reliable hp!! Nearly 600 torque (thats what I have)..50,000 miles on the combo and 19.5 mpg on the trips we go on 3 people tons of luggage doing 70 mph or higher to keep with the traffic flow!
Some very lame "color commentary" in there
saturday morning puke fest .thanks' guys hahaha
Who are those guys and where is Freiburger? This episode is as lame as Chris Evans pretending to be Jeremy Clarkson in Top Gear of 2016
lol pickins are gittin slim...
This just seemed so forced and hollow.
Yep they went all corporate, extra lighting and better cameras. It's clearly scripted. Its definitely not the same. The way money changes things for the worst really bums me out.
Brakes? Real men dont need brakes!
New teeth?
It's so weird seeing Birdsong acting! Not a good actor! I'd rather see him on his channel for sure!
the choice between good n evil
Lose the boy toys
No David no roadkill sorry not going to watch . Nothing personal but roadkill garage is freiburger
junks up n commin
Is your mom your uncle?
This was so lame.
MotorTrend wants to charge for this garbage? Good luck
Meh, bolt on partswapping show. And considering how easily parts came off, looks like the work was prestaged.
That guy's beard is so distracting! What is going on there?!
This isn't Roadkill! Gtfoh
Is Wylie the Matthew McConehay stunt double?
Is that huge compressor for the ac?
haha yes. They are heavier than they look too! I ripped like 200lbs all easy of a/c junk out of my '68 t-bird. The compressor was probably half of it hahaha
Chryslers were such boats ...not a fan 😢
A lot of the boatness comes from a lot of empty space front and rear because of the styling at the time. Ford Mustang, AMC Javelin come to mind -- 1971-1973,......................................
Lot better than the crappy stuff they build today, cars ain't even cars anymore, just overpriced plastic technology junk.
Not cool, dude 😆
That's not true and WHO Cares what YOU think anyway. Go back to finishing your 12 pack!
@@mr.b2107 hahaha the comments section is for opinions genius 😂😂
