  • Been long over due to get some decent tires on the kitty! These tires are awesome and the wheels fit w/out any rub! DWS06 PLUS 315/35/20. What a difference they make!
    When these tires are toast, I'll try the Toyo Proxes or the Nitto's.

    What an under-rated upgrade! Almost zero squeal on brand new tires on a colder road? Amazing. Visually a nice upgrade too. Keep em comin!

    Awesome upgrade !!! the only thing that touches the road is our tires .. I bought a set for my Mustang GT and went up to a 265/35/19 and 285/35/19 from the stock size and I love the tires better than the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4..

    315's are an absolute must on a hellcat. Mine had the stock 275 pirelli's and it was like riding on hard plastic until I swapped them out. You'll definitely be much happier with the meat in the back. Plus, now you got a spare set of 275's for the front.

    Nice video. When you are doing pulls you may want to keep the suspension in street. You want the suspension as soft as possible so you get maximum weight transfer to the rear when you floor it.

    I just picked up a set of these for my RT Charger today. Your right!! They are sooooo much better. I was going for the ExtremeContact Sports but the shop didnt have any in stock. Apparently the Sports are hard to find here in Texas now and days. Great tire overall and that warranty is plus!

      @@redlinerehab2831 If you do R2s make sure you keep the Contis around you will not want to run R2s on the street below 40 degrees for any length of time plus you will need to be very careful running them in rain especially torrential rain or standing water. Also you will probably only get like 5k - 7k miles maybe 10k if you baby them but that number is directly proportional to how many burnouts you do.

      @@eddiebicakci7363 woah, that’s 12,000 miles on a good day. What the heck were you doing? Sounds like wheel alignment problems. No tire is that bad. Like… a lowered car with too much camber? But you said “worn smooth”. That makes no sense.

    • @eddiebicakci7363
      @eddiebicakci7363 Рік тому

      @@josephsmith594 I did lower the car and it has a slight camber on the rear end but I’ve never had any issues with tires before. I think those tires are too soft to be daily driven. I don’t drive like a maniac either

    • @josephsmith594
      @josephsmith594 Рік тому

      @@eddiebicakci7363 Well, as soon as you start modifying your suspension and basically putting your wheels out of alignment your tire review becomes suspect. I just destroyed my Micheline Pilot Sport 4S summer tires, in three summers. “Slight camber” as well. The slight camber caused “cupping” on the tires, uneven wear on the edge and now my ride sounds like a jackhammer. I’m getting the camber fixed today (changing the control arms to align the lowered car) and putting on new tires. Also, my dealership was doing a crappy job on the alignment, and I found a mod shop that understands my lowered car better and their alignment is much more carefully done, looking at camber, toe, and caster. Misaligned toe and caster could rip your treads off. Misaligned toe means your contact patch is angled inwards or outwards while you’re driving forward, so your sliding along the road while the tires turn. Think of your feet, standing pigeon toed, then sliding forward. You probably wrecked your tires, like I did.
