In this video, Curt Havel provides an update on his total ankle replacement performed by Dr. Clanton from Sports Foot & Ankle Group at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO.
Four months after his surgery, Curt was snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. As of today, exactly 1.5 years have passed and he is feeling in perfect shape. According to Curt, "I have zero pain. I am able to do everything I wanted to do before such as bike, hike, and ski. There is nothing I can't do! I am even using my ankle like I did when I was a teenager. Everything is working perfectly."
Curt wants to encourage any patient living Colorado or around the United States to reach out to Dr. Clanton and his team if they are experiencing ankle pain. Dr. Clanton works on normal people like him, not just professional athletes. Following his surgery, Curt didn't have to take any pain medication. His ankle surgery and recovery went as smoothly as possible. Curt salutes the entire staff at the Steadman clinic and is beyond happy with his new ankle.
