This set is very sweet! Fuchs penned many children pieces, some for piano solo and some for piano duet. This is one of them. Most of these works were composed in the early to middle period. As Fuchs stepped into the later and more mature period, his piano compositions dwindled, but their quality improved significantly.
I love Fuchs music, especially chamber one, but also piano and symphonic music is great. Although Fuchs is less listened than he should be, he's probably one of the least obscure you played into your channel .... But it's certainly a great choice because it's never enough when it comes to such an excellent music
Pietro, I'm altogether agree with you! His chamber and symphonic music is great! The cello sonates, violin sonates, etc, surely you have all these Cd's! Thank you Gamma for your job! I need to write you!
wow, what an upload! Thanks a ton for this huge amount of music. I will take some time to listen to these tomrrow after my last exam this semester (discrete maths ;P).
@@PianoScoreVids hahah yeah you told me! I definitely hope the proofs will go well. I still find it difficult to get the right idea for a proof when under time pressure. This stuff is probably easy-peasy for you, but I must say that even tasks like finding generators in polynomial fields takes me a long time. Let's hope the tasks and proofs will go smoothly. lol
Godsend!! Are you considering playing his sonatas any time? Because their only recordings on YT seem to be on Daniel Blumenthal's topic channel with just an album cover, no score...
@@PianoScoreVids one in a whole book isn't too many at all. At least the other mistakes, if any, weren't audible 🤣 keep it up and post other videos man, you're definitely a good pianist 👏
I've played a number of his piano duets - all worthwhile and interesting. Most people haven't heard of him.
Thanks for sharing, discovering wide range of music with your posts....

I love Fuchs! il y a de ces pépites dans cet album! merci pour la découverte! j'aime particulièrement la n°8 et la n° 14.

@@annulrsolformrkelse4023 this sounds more like algebra! I work in a very specific subfield of discrete math, i probably would also struggle haha

Glad you enjoy it! Concerning your suggestion: I'm taking notes...
I like the melody of no.3
Nice one! We cannot help but compare with Zdeněk Fibich's short pieces, recently uploaded on S.P.'s score videos channel...
Wow
Superb, but... do I hear a B flat at 17:02?
That one was difficult, try it yourself
@@PianoScoreVids didn't mean to be rude mate 👍
Didnt thought it was rude, but mistakes simply happen sometimes
I make many mistakes... too many

Felix Janosa's "Beautiful Dawn" sounds very much like Fuchs' Osterlied at the beginning ua-cam.com/video/a6U5HCn3hpw/v-deo.html
