  • This is my second ride on my new Vitilan U7 ebike (electric bike). I thought the battery did pretty well. I talk about a lot of stuff while on the ride too. Take a look. Leave a comment and let me know if you're into ebikes.

Change your wheel diameter settings to 22" to correct the speedometer. My U7 has a tail light, brake light and turn signals.

Hey Brent, great video BTW, what is the brand of your rear mirror and how did you install it on the end of the handle bar? Thanks.

Take a look in the description. There's a link to "all ebike stuff I use."

I purchased the pair of Briskmore mirrors from Amazon. They are crystal clear, “ automobile “ grade, super easy to install, and I only needed one but two at a lower price than most single mirrors look good. These are high quality, I promise you will not be disappointed. To install, I used a knife, I call it a box cutter knife. I cut out a center hole, LEAVING the end edge intact. The mirrors go in snugly. I have very broad shoulders and having the mirrors as far as possible to the outside is good for me. I debated as to exposing the total outside metal edge of the handlebar but glad I didn’t, instead cutting only a hole on the end of the handlebar leaving rubber on the outside facing edge. Hope this helps!

Would someone post the way to change the pas settings. On mine level one needs a little more power and level 2 needs a little less. The rest of the preset levels are ok for me. I’m 74 years old and need some help. I must have thrown my manual away with the packing materials. When I was 60 I could have figured it out on my own.

Which app are you using on your phone for the speedometer

It's called "Speedometer" and has "69" as a graphic on the tille.

Try going into the settings and change the tire size from 24" to 22" and save it, reboot. Your display speedometer should better match the phone's GPS speed and odometer. Let me know if that works better for you.

I had already made that change exactly how you said, but I sure appreciate the help! Really. Thank you.

@@brentmontgomery849 so with the tires set to 22" you are still seeing around 2 mph higher on the U7 display vs the phone's GPS? Or are they pretty well matched to each other now?

@@EuropaWill I haven't done a filmed ride where I outfit it with my phone and camera, etc. What I'm doing is trying to help my wife learn on her bike so it's just on my road and focused on her. Very soon though and I plan to comment on that during the ride too Mr. Will.

What GPS program are you using on your phone. If by chance it is speedometer if you could tell me which one. I believe there's about ten different programs with the same name.

That's the name of it, and I have Samsung so Google Play store. There's nothing more specific that I can see other than to look at the pics in the app.

Thats terrible RANGE! A 20ah battery should easily go 30-40 miles battery only! I have a u7 with 20ah battery and it only goes 20 miles till its dead.........never again buying from Vitilan! My Polarna 750 bike gets 35-45 niles easily with a 16ah battery. I think Vitilan is over rating their batteries! Terrible company to deal with warraty stuff too.

20 miles pure throttle is pretty standard. For instance, the Electric 3.0 standard (non long range) is advertised right on their website as 20 miles throttle only. Just like what the person in this video achieved. Agree the battery is prob overrated tho
