It's nice to see a progressive couple making gun videos. Thank you.
Daniel von Strangle I don’t think that’s true
@Daniel von Strangle I have progressive stances on many policies and still have a safe full of 2 AR15s, an AR10, a mossberg 590a1, a galil, two g43x, and a g29. So yeah...you're wrong.
@@jameskobi6111 what did they say? Their comment was deleted.
Jackson Walter, can't remember precisely. It was something insulting liberals along the lines of the stereotypical bullshit insults hurled from the right. Buuuut as happens most often, he's a coward, tucked his tail between his legs, and went on to troll another day. Kinda sad that it's his best source of fulfillment in life.
Holy cow libbys...take a joke
My top 5 carry guns;
5) .50 BMG
4) M240B
3) AR10
2) a sock full of nickels
1) S&W Model 29
Quintus Aurelius Symmachus hahaha
The sock of nickles is by far the most intimidating option
One gyn I have and like to carry is the Ruger EC9s. It has a great thin profile and shoots 9mm. Other carry guns I like are the Bodyguard, Glock 42, Bersa Thunder, and my 2 J frames.
OP is missing an M203.
Where is the Kar98k ?
"I can't tell you have many times we've gone out to dinner and I'm like 'hey you gonna carry or no?'"
What a weird question.
I didn't know tom Brady did gun reviews
Lol I thought it was him at first
Yeah ikr he really does look like Tom Brady lol 😁 😂
Discount Tom Brady 😂 but on a serious note if someone told me they were related I would have believed it.
Tom Brady plus a leprechaun
Wish Tom Brady
Here is a tip, when you're taking about firearms maybe you should zoom into the firearms, kinda like a table top review. Love the show btw.
***** thanks for taking the time to reply to my comment, bro
I live in the city of Detroit- police just don't show up. I carry spare magazines just because we have gangs.
America.
Sure, you want to buy my home? Move up move out isn't the only answer.
Good Job Sir. I'm so glad I live in Columbus.
jconradh just moved out of their , what's your gun of choice their?
I live just above toledo and 30 minutes below detroit, I know how you feel in those areas jconradh.
"I can't tell you how many times we've gone to dinner and I'm like you gonna carry or no?"
Lol. You Americans are great.
I agree. America is pretty great
Baylee Boyles thank you friend from an Latino American.
@@adrianjuarez1162 no problem dude. How are you?
🤣 Most of us don't ask others that stuff. In fact, I don;t know ANYONE else that does. Many of us DO carry guns, but we don't talk about it.
there was never a moment in Iraq where i thought i'd like to give up capacity for a lighter gun.
I feel the same way now about pistols. I finally caved on polymer, i might cave on barrel length, but never, ever will i compromise on the capacity of a firearm that is supposed to keep my ass alive.
Cecil Sharps I would suggest a Mac 11 for you sir.
i couldn't find a good holster for it.
TFB TV lol
Cecil Sharps lol
Cecil Sharps totally agree. im not going down in ammo. screw that. thats stupid
0:31 "I can't tell you how many times we went out for dinner and I'm like 'Ummm, are you gonna carry...? Err, no?' and generally you're like 'oh, yeah, I forgot'"
These are the types of friends I need in my life
There's absolutely no way I could ever forget to put my gun on before I leave that would feel like leaving the house without my pants on...
As
a retired L.E.O. and CSI I can tell you that the average distance for
pistol encounters is under 20 feet , average number of shots fired
(rounded off to full number) is three and it all happens within five
seconds. There are rare exceptions. I worked a case where four
officers and one perp, out of doors, fired over 65 rounds at various
distances of about 8-65 feet in about 15-20 seconds. All five
shooters were using double stack 9mm pistols. The perp was hit twice
one fatal and one of two patrol cars was riddled from both sides. No
officers were hurt.
The concealed carry gun I carry some of the time is a family heirloom, of sorts. It's a M1903 Vest Pocket in .25 ACP, with the slide block lever safety.
I like it a lot, it's really easy to clean, shoots very nice. The only things I don't like are the tiny blade sights, not very accurate at long range, but then again it wasn't designed for that, and the lack of a last round hold open.
The M&P Shield is also a good option, as it is really thin.
Wearing one on my ankle, right now.
It stymies me this video was made just under a year ago. With options like the PF9, p320/250/938, G26/19, M&P9c/Shield, CW/CM9, VP9, P30, LCP, XDs, and PPQ/S/99c, it blows my mind none of them made the cut.
CZ-82/83 when it's warm, CZ-75 SP-01 when it's cold.
Hilarious. "when you feel like you're at risk". Glad you got that whole "crystal ball" thing worked out, so you can look ahead and see when your life might be in danger.
Interesting selection you guys have picked. I don't agree, but that is the beauty of a concealment firearm, it comes down to the shooter and what each one prefers.
Good talking points fellas.
My pick:
-SHIELD 9mm(been carrying it since it came out and LOVE IT)
GY6vids It *SHIELD* definitely have been on this list. [rimshot]
Seriously, though, the Shield and the PM9 are top tier for CCW. I carried a P7 for a while and loved it, but I found the weight-to-firepower ratio too disparate to warrant continued use.
Your Lucky. I only can cary a 32 magnum
Haha I just commented on how much I love my shield. It's got tons of aftermarket parts too. And they're cheap. Like $300. It's the best one out there IMO
+James Reeves I carry the Kahr CM9, and love it. Pocketable 9mm, can't beat it. The CM9 is similar to the PM9, without some of the cooler features Kahr offers. Great choice!
Phillip Carr same here! Love my CM9. Can't beat it for price. Also one of the smallest single stack 9mm.
the average self defence shooting says the FBI is 3 shots or less
Keyword: AVERAGE
One in each eye then then when sighted in one in the middle of the forehead. Do they have restrictions on knives. As I’d take the tongue from him too.
You come and put my family in danger you will not leaving in handcuffs.
I will but I can see another day
I love that they showed the 22 mag some love , I feel like it's a very underrated caliber
You guys put on an enjoyable show; good chemistry between leads and interesting topics. Keep it up and you'll be the Click & Clack of pistoleros :)
I was hoping to see the Chiappa Rhino 20DS. Light, slim, easy to control, reliable, and a 6 shot .357 mag. What more could you need?
SirTickleTots how much is it?
I swear by the M&P shield 9mm. It's small, (I'm 5'5 135lbs and I can conceal it IWB just fine) reliable, has an amazing trigger for its class, and I can hit a soda can 9/10 times with it at 25-30 yards. I can hit 3-5/10 at 50yds. It's a great shooter. I've handled quite a few carry handguns and it's easily the best one. Only one I can think that possibly rivals it is the single-stack 9mm Glock (whatever model # that one is, 43 I think?) Plus there's 100s of aftermarket parts for it that you can add on to truly customize it and make it your own. I love the gun, and couldn't recommend it more.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it. I had pretty much come down to it or the Glock but I think for a CCW I’d rather have the safety
I agree with everything you said. My wife is just a little taller than you and feels the exact same way. Even now in 2020 with better conceal carry options, the Shield is still one of the better choice (best if you take into account their price with a S&W rebate).
Less than a minute in and I'm impressed that you admit to not carrying. Your honesty is beneficial to viewers and brave given the strong opinions of some regarding CC. That being said, get something you can EDC and do it! We need good people armed out there. Good video. Thanks.
I only wear my seat belt when I think I might get into an accident... Lol
Mention the manufacturer for those of us who are newbies. I didn't know P7 is from H&K had to look it up.
Good comment, although you should have posted it in your comments for the rest of us since you already looked it up and got the answers. Now those of us interested in finding out the same info will still have to do it.
Huh?
Oh, my bad. You did! lol I guess the P& is manufactured by H&K. Never heard of them so I wasn't sure until I read your "Huh?" :-)
It is in the video description.
Mauser Hsc
"There's nothing better than fanning something this small"
That's what SHE said!!
Love the honesty and frank discussion on the topic. I'm a 1911 (Defender style) fan. Your advice was spot on.
the guy on the right almost looks like tom brady a little bit
A lot like tom brady.
Zach Chicano he is Tom Brady
It’s still nearly impossible to beat a J Frame. I’ve carried for 13 years and the J Frame is the one you will have on you.
Ask yourself if you can fight and defend your life with it, tiny controls and poor sights are not the answer. Backup guns like some of these are free or extra possibly to give arm a bystander. Carry the biggest pistol you can comfortably be proficient with and carry on a daily basis (that might be a single stack for some body types).
1IdeaAhead 678
1IdeaAhead back up guns, are the ones the enemy leaves lying when they have been terminated.
I really like that they bring up what a CCW is. Its not meant to be an offensive weapon like an Assault Riffle. Its a defensive weapon mean to help get you out of a shit situation.
Glad to hear you mention the .22mag, it's a very under supported round for deep conceal revolvers and derringers, and even more so for long guns. That little sucker really gets going and fits quiet a few needs, i'm still surprised by how unpopular it is.
I carry a J-frame in .357. I'll never change.
1903 and rubber sp101
I carry a 84FS Cheetah same gun for 2 years.
really... a shorty ass wheel gun chambered in .357??? at that rate you should just get a snub .44 and invest in a blindefold and shoot wildly. the percussion will help more than the large caliver wrist breakers... 9mm will always be the best choice for concealed, hands down... id take a .22lr over anything bigger than a 9mm anyday. even though .357 still remains to this day, one of my favorite rounds, depending on situation variables of course. However, anything is better than nothing. Id take a rock in my pocket over empty pockets.
Its called being right. bitch.
shut up chicken head
I'm honestly not trying to sound like a douche here, but your credibility for making a video about the top CCW guns flew out the window when you said you only carry 25% of the time.. or when you feel you might be at risk. Bro.. Shit happens when you don't expect it.. and it's not always bad humans that you have to defend yourself against. For example, just a few months ago I was hanging out at a friends house, walked around to the back door and came face to face with a feral hog.. I didn't expect to need my trusty Shield that day but I'm glad I had it. Either carry all the time or don't, don't half ass it.
+Chris Hester I let Patty take the lead on this one as I don't really carry much (as I stated). This may sound grim, but I have no children to protect, no family, and people do not depend on me to live. If circumstances were different, I would carry more.
+TFB TV i agree with you man you dont always have to be strapped "at risk" would be like a bad neighborhood or going for a hike maybe even a mall or a town you've never visited maybe you just live in an area with low crime or tend to go places that are considered safe im in canada so we cant carry anything but if i was allowed i deffinetly would just because i love guns so much but for now i just carry a knife and train in martial arts maybe you should get some light weight knuckle dusters or carry a knife if you dont like to carry all the time
+Chris Hester I have to say I agree.... and a squeeze cocker gun is the one someone chooses for a top 5? I do not know about that, however I do not know enough about it as far as if I would trust it.
*****
I would argue that the P7 is the greatest handgun ever made.
+Chris Hester There's no reason to judge. If they wanna carry only sometimes, why the fuck do you care?
great video and i really appreciate the closed caption
Your t-shirts are hilariously awesome!
Interesting discussion and point of view.
+Viliam Fejt
You should relax my foreign friend
Fucking moron foe-liberal shit talking shill take your cult handbook back to the chopping block.
i don't understand :D
shut the fuck up you slav
Why? Your country is in much more disarray than ours, and we are much safer. You can't have auto's here either (or at least it is very hard). Besides, why did you watch this video if you were just going to post hate?
How can one know when to carry and what to carry? I thought concealed carrying are like Home/Fire, Medical, Dental, Vehicle Insurances? You have to have it all the time with enough coverage because of the unpredictability of its need.
Why do lawmakers make laws that even "criminals in the act" can get the defending victim in trouble because of intricate legalities?
hoplophobiadoc Hell if we know. Ask a politician maybe?
Hahahahaha.
You shot my boy with a .44 magnum. Now he's dead. You could at least shot him with a .22 Jennings. He's just robbing you. You got plenty. You don't need to hurt him. In time he would change. For now, you should have let him be, give him time to change. He ain't hurting anybody. He's learning about crack because he wanted to go to medical school.
"The best concealed carry gun is the one that you're going to carry". Perfect. 'nuff said.
"well... because... she wins"
Best, most honest comment, ever.
No mention of the Glock 19 or 26? The most popular ccw? Shaaaaaaame
Is 5 shots enough. Maybe, as long as there is no more than one perp.
Current carry gun is a Shield with 147gr HST''s.
Rumblestrip.NET Always tossing about the idea of getting one myself. How do you like it?
LOVE IT! Shoots and handles as well as a few larger sized 9mm. I've put 2000+ rounds down the pipe with no issues.
Rumblestrip.NET I love my 9mm Shield. I carry it almost everyday IWB and I am about the same stature as Patrick R. It is hidden so well that my wife even has to ask me sometimes if I am carrying or not when I wear it. My 9mm Full size M&P is for range fun and winter carry only. Leaves a big bulge on my side when I do so a jacket is a must.
Rumblestrip.NET 147 is too heavy for 3 inch brl
not according to ShootingTheBull410 testing
Most of the time I carry a Taurus Tracker .44 Mag 4" barrel 5 shots, in a Uncle Mike's number 2 belt holster.
I began carrying back in the early 90s and have, at various times, worn everything from a full size 1911, to the fat butt-ed Ruger P85, and down to the tiny Colt Vest Pocket .25 acp. Currently, my primary is a Kahr PM9 loaded with 7 Federal 124 grain HSTs. I very much appreciate the light weight and concealability, as well as the balance between no safety manipulation being required while still being a very safe gun. The long trigger pull does take an investment of time to get comfortable with, but it's such a smooth trigger, with a very light draw weight and a eternally surprising break, that your investment is rewarding. It completely negates any 'flinch' because it's almost impossible to anticipate; this is a VERY good thing. I focus on keeping my sights on my target and steadily squeezing through the break, rather than loading the trigger and trying to coordinate my sights being on the target and deciding when I want the break to be. The reset on the Kahr, however, is ridiculously long, being almost as long as the initial trigger pull.
I'm currently breaking in a Glock 32 (in .357 Sig), for which I also have the Lone Wolf barrel conversion so I can also shoot 40 S&W when at the range. The aftermarket parts availability for Glock makes them very versatile weapons. I want to put a couple of hundred more rounds through it before it'll graduate to being a carry weapon; I need to do more accuracy and reliability tests to see if it'll be loaded with Federal HSTs or Underwoods. I could always decide to make the 40 S&W an additional option for carrying, which would again make the Federal HSTs a prime consideration for carry ammo.
Nowadays though, I prefer something more along the size and weight of the Kahr; while the Glock 32 will get to join the dugout, it'll probably never be my first at bat. My S&W 3914 will probably see as much use since she's proven herself over the years. And I wouldn't be too surprised to see a Glock 43 join the crew once the initial buying rush has passed and prices on them become more reasonable.
wait in the US normal citizens carry loaded guns? and that is legal?
+Goriaas In some places and under some circumstances. The US is not the only place that allows this.
+Goriaas A lot of states allow people to carry guns in plain sight, on a belt. Some, including Arizona and Texas among others allow you to keep it inside a jacket, on an ankle holster or basically hidden anywhere on you or in a purse if you're a lady. US, Mexico, Canada (I think), Czech rep. and South Africa allow it as well. Other states in the US have different laws like allowing you to keep it in your car. Some states like New York are completely against it. Very generally, the closer a state is to the coast and the further North it is, the less likely it is to allow things like this.
I suppose the mere sight of a weapon could be a deterrent if you wanted to live but not to risk killing someone else. I'd say a gun that doesn't work is far more useful than a penis that doesn't. Obviously though, a sensible person would have loaded one. Also - comparing a weapon to a penis, people already think it's about overcompensating.
I wasn't talking about actually owning one or even using one - I was talking about the comparison of guns to penises and potency.
ogarzabello I thought only military and law enforcement and special jobs like bodyguards were allowed to carry guns with ammo with them. my bad, I am from Europe. I don't think there is anyone who concealed carries in my country
I'll jump in before people jump down your throat for carrying only in select areas... Some people don't revolve their interest in guns around CCW. And that's ok. That's life.
Christopher Penta Pretty much. Also I am a single man with no dependents or anything, so if I ever got killed it isn't like I am leaving much behind. I know that sounds grim, but if I had children to care for or something then you bet I would carry more.
Christopher Penta Yes. Also you can't ccw in bars, so if you know you are going out for a few drinks, you may as well leave your gun at home.
pk13910 I don't drink, so it doesn't come up.
If you see the 30.06 sign you can't carry. If you see a 51% sign you can't carry.
His statement is racist. I am guessing the select areas are not white, upper middle class neighborhoods. Not to mention his statement is astoundingly Stupid. Like saying you wear a seat belt when you are in an area with more car accidents. It's fucking retarded!!!!! If you are OK with calling 911 when you need a gun, why would you get a CCW license?
You two are more nervous than injured mice in a cat store... It is crazy the power that a camera holds over grown men! ha ha You are comfortable with guns and the camera is a lot more intimidating! LOL I know it has the same effect on me as well! lol Great advice there guys!!!
Tom Brady and Dr. McCoy great video guys! keep up the good work.
Is a Ruger Redhawk alaskan a good CCW?
+Tom Norris For sure. I appendix carry it everyday. Stay away from schools though, people thought I was overly happy to see kids.
Nice. I shot my buddies in 44 Mag at the range with wooden grips.... I'll definitely be swapping those out for some rubber hougues.
+Tom Norris buddy's*
+Tom Norris f you ever have to light it off indoors you'll be deafen yourself. I've met guys with substantial hearing loss from firing a .44 OUTSIDE without ear pro.
Unless it was that gun for nothing, I wouldn't CCW it. Great pistol though.
To me all those guns are backups, and the NAA is a backup to a backup.
What about your backup to your backup to your backup
It took me years to finally find the perfect ccw Sig Sauer p938 love it.
I used to have a M&P BodyGuard380. I didn't keep it long. Light strikes and that "triple action" trigger were what sent it down the road for me.
I now carry the Glock 42 and I love it! It shots just like a big Glock and doesn't hurt your hand like some small pistols can.
25% of the time = megaphone yelling for Murphy to prove how real his law is.
Been on the planet for over 50 years and never needed to use a gun in self defense. Now that I am getting older, I decided to carry more due to me not enjoying going fist to cuff with people. I did however always and will continue to always carry a nice fixed blade.
And ive been on this earth for 23 years and have had to run for my life from someone chasing me down in a car.
36 and been carrying 6 months. Im still alive.
i always carry a makarov it is illegal to have in my country tho lol
+tony montana That's really the reason Makarov's are still "relevant" despite being 9x18. They're so thin with their single stack magazine, great for inside the waistband carry. Slav guns will always be my favorite I guess. Good luck amigo.
Trusty Patches yeah it is true that thing is so easy to carry around and thank you
+tony montana What country are u in?
Jack Johnstone holland
+tony montana I think its great that you are carrying. Just dont get caught lol :D
thanks for making this video
Kahr CM-40. Small package, big power. I've pocket carried mine for a couple of years now, and it's awesome.
Kahr MK9, 147gr HSTs. Leather pocket holster.
astrodudepsu Good setup.
plus i live in Maine and we just passed a bill were we don't need a ccw to conceal carry. which is cool. plus our right
very informative, thank you
Glad to see someone carrying a HK P7. My brother spent 2 years in the late 80s carrying a P7 M13 in a Levi jacket in west Berlin. Funny that that old gun is more advanced than modern guns. However it cost a lot to produce, and as we know money is the main concern in this modern world. One thing that makes the P7 a very safe gun to carry is that almost no one today would know how to operate it. Something to think about.
My favorite concealed carry setup is an M&P9c (the no thumb safety version) with an empty chamber and loaded with 124 grain Federal HST bullets in the magazine. I also use an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 2.0 holster and a 1.5 inch Hanks Amish CCW Belt because they're cheap, effective, and comfortable.
The reason why I like this setup is because the M&P line of pistols (besides the 380 Bodyguard) had zero gun-caused stoppages in a 2010 ATF test. So, it's a reliable gun.
I also like that it has a 12 round capacity. That's about double the capacity of all of the firearms that you guys recommended. And I'm a big proponent of higher round capacity. My views on round capacity were heavily influenced by my best friend being brutally murdered by a pack of 15 illegal immigrants and watching video footage of people being shot several times with handguns yet still being capable of running and fighting. I don't agree with people at all when they say that 5 rounds is enough for self-defense.
You can also use full-size, 17-round M&P magazines in the M&P9c. That will allow you to carry a 17-round backup magazine for even more capacity. And it will make training with your M&P9c at the range less annoying since you won't have to reload as often.
I also like the ergonomics and the size of the M&P9c. Even though I wear large-size gloves, the small-size grips on the M&P line of pistols fit my hands perfectly. The relatively short grip of the M&P9c also makes it relatively easy to conceal.
As to why I carry it without a safety and with an empty chamber, racking the slide in a self-defense situation is an instinctual and fast motor function for me. And I like to completely remove the possibility of having an accidental discharge. And I typically don't like using manual safeties on firearms since they can accidentally actuate while carrying and I worry about forgetting to manipulate them under stress.
As to my bullet selection, that was largely due to ShootingTheBull410's testing. I went with the standard pressure 124 grains in order to reduce recoil for faster followup shots.
My other favorite concealed carry setup is throwing a Ruger LCP with an empty chamber into my front right pocket. I load it up with Underwood 90 Grain Xtreme Penetrator rounds in the magazine. And I use a DeSantis Nemesis holster for it (which I don't really like because I think that the gun comes out of it a little too easily). I use this setup when I can't easily conceal my M&P9c.
Get the Crossbreed holster, I've got my CCW and carry a Glock 19.
They are great. I tired one for my XDM and loved it so I bought another for my 1911
+Gianni Vasquez You conceal carry an XDM? What's your body build?
+MercilessHobo --I'am 5'11", 190 lb and ripped. I already told you a Glock 19 gen 4
+Gary D Flatt so your a fucking manlet
+Gary D Flatt how's gen 4? did you ever try gen3?
I either carry a Zastava- Tokarev a Swiss Luger P04 that was converted from 7.63 Luger to 7.62x25 Tokarev with gunsmith purpose built new stronger springs and some other parts or a Norinco PX3(a Sig 226 clone in 7.62x25) and a CZ Vz52
the norinco is the best but i might get glock 19 and a purpose made threaded 7.62x25 barrel
i can make ammo from 223 brass if i ever need to/milsurp dries up or S&B / PPU stops producing in the future and the milsurp costs me less than 20 cents a shot as of now
i like the Tokarev round - its like 5.7FN but cheaper
and it also goes through soft bodyarmor and AP 7.62x25 (that sadly is outlawed in europe) also goes through 9mm rated plates
Greethings from Europe
Hi Guys, I dont know how long you have been around but I just found you and really enjoy your videos. I am an old guy with old tastes. My carry single stack 9 is an S&W 39-2 in a Bucheimer concealer. 7 in the magazine and one in the chamber. It doesn't have the best trigger but I have been shooting it since 1984. I don't even notice the trigger The other carry gun I have is a S&W K frame model 66 with 2 1/2 inch barrel with crimson trace laser grips. It gives me 6 rounds of 357 magnum. My carry ammo is Hornady Critical defense for both guns. I have practiced with this ammo quite a bit and know what its going to do. I am a big fan of lasers on self defense handguns. I have spent a lot of time at the range with the laser and it makes defensive shooting so much quicker and more accurate in low light. Also its great to practice trigger and grip control.
So, you carry 25% of the time and feel you're qualified to advise others on carrying?
+Kevin C. I only listened to 25% of his advise...
Lol
+Kevin C. Then the airhead on the left assumes some jerkoff he knows, knows more than all of his audience.
No he doesn't feel comfortable giving advice, which is why he left most of it to Patrick.
Anyone who carries 25% of the time should not be talking. If you carry that little...I have news for you, There's a problem with your set up. It's Either your gun, holster, or belt, Or all of the above. You say you're happy with your gun and your not changing but you hardly ever carry it. That means you don't like it that much! Wake up and admit it.
I have the smith Wesson 442 and I like the fact that I can carry it without even worrying about the weight or bulk. I literally take it with me with any kind of shorts and unless you wear tight clothes no one would even know you are packing. I’ve been trying to get rid of it simply because now I have a Bersa 380.
"I'm not gonna say less bullets is better." Good, you shouldn't. It's fewer. Great video though. Love the channel. I've learned a lot watching. Thanks.
Jason Crow “...less bullets is fewer”???
@@bornetocrywolf5965 Grammar Nazi here. "Less" is for volume. "Fewer" is for a number of things.
"I carry maybe 25% of the time".
SHAME ON YOU!!!
EarthIsFlat ItsAFact why
Because why only carry 1/4 of the time? If you're gonna carry, then carry.
I'm just glad I life in a country where it's not allowed for every maniac to run round the streets with an assault rifle.
Lars Kraus That isn't really allowed in most places in the USA.
TFB TV
dont know how the laws are on this topic within the US but at my place it's strictly forbidden for everyone but law enforcement to have any kind of handgun in public. Only a very small amount of people are allowed to have guns in general, like hunters for example. It would frighten the shit out of me to see anyone walking around with a handgun. I feel pretty safe if no one has a gun. I've never even seen a gun in real life.
Lars Kraus
I see them everyday, and I have never seen anyone use one outside of a range or hunting. Different cultures I guess.
TFB TV
probably
Lars Kraus criminals wont payattention to the gun laws and you will wish you had a gun to shoot the fucker who tries to hurt you. Fuck your idiotic culture
I really want to say that I appreciate the times Patrick alludes to being a smaller or shorter guy, and that the considerations for CCW are different. While he doesn't just outright say it, I think that's what he's getting at when he is talking about his "stature". I'm a small guy too (5'4" 130lbs), and it's just a different world for guys like us.
One interesting note for smaller people out there. Apparently some people think it's a big deal to be able to get three fingers on a short compact or sub-compact grip. I didn't know this, and I felt like for once I had an advantage because I can almost get 4 fingers on my XDM compact!
Y'all need more subscribers this channel is so amazing keep the good work up I'll try to get you guys some more like shout outs I'll try lol
*Frodo and Sam review conceal carry guns*
The P7 mentioned is an interesting choice because your not sacrificing in stopping power and accuracy for a weapon that many people can successfully carry.
The thing about violence, you never pick the time or place, it picks you. If you carry as a form of life insurance, you carry always. I came across this video when it was 5 years old. There are so many options today. My favorite carry gun was my Beretta .32 Tomcat. I sold it; IDK, should’ve kept it. I’ve carried a Kel-Tec P3-AT for years. I moded the grips and sites to my liking, bought extended mags, polished the feed ramp, put a pocket clip on it and fired a couple thousand rounds through it. It goes bang every time and I can hit center mass in targets as much as 15 yards away, but after that distance, my accuracy with it is erratic. After shooting (and buying) some 9mm guns, I think 9mm is my best round. I have my eye on the Sig P365. It is nearly as compact as my P3-AT, holds more ammo, and more juice behind it than my .380. We’ll see, it’s $500+. Maybe after I get back to work after this Covid mess. Thanks for the video.
Been carrying the S&W Bodyguard for a year now....gets a A in concealable...I like a very small light wt. Pistol, otherwise I might not carry daily...B+ in reliability (few stovepipes in the first two hundred rounds) B+ in accuracy.... 30 foot and closer feel very confident with it.....but a C- in trigger pull...took me about 300 rounds to get used to it...still like for now...but feel there is better ones out there. Keep up the good work guys.
A combat situation can present it's self.
So more is better.
I like the LCP 22 for Arizona summer in basketball shorts! A couple different small 9’s rest of the time!
Grip length and gun width are the main considerations for me. A stiff belt can offset a heavy gun and it's important to get a really good holster. I find myself using a Blackhawk inner belt for ccw most of the time as it's very stiff yet lightweight and easy to get on and off (Velcro means one size fits all).
I also carried an HK but it just was too thick and dug into my body. Believe it or not I find the trusty 1911 govt model to be very comfortable for carry due to its extremely slim profile (esp w/thin grips) as long as it's in a really good leather holster (carried one for a couple years, still do sometimes) and on a stiff belt...However I have finally settled on appendix carrying a Shield in a custom kydex holster and have been very satisfied.
I've been a everyday carrier since the early 90s and everything fro J and K frames, 1911, Beretta 92, Sig Saur 250 and a 44 Bulldog. The one I have had as my companion for the last couple of years will probably be my last though. The Ruger SR9C for fire power, reliably, price, accuracy and above all safety in a striker fire with a out of the box great trigger it can't be topped in my experience. I have over 1500 rounds of everything from +p+ to 3.7 grains of Titegroup under 115 dirt dusters it has never failed. Carrying 11 in the gun plus 17 in the extra mag I have yet to find a package to match it.
I have a Glock 19, but would love to get a revolver next. I love my Glock 19.
Great review I carry a beretta 92 A1 and a ruger lcr 38, I know is a big gun but I like it.
Good video guys. I had P7 at one time and I'm kicking myself for selling it... Although it is a bit chunky for a single stack. Right now I carry Walther PPS and really like its conceal ability and it is accurate.
M&P shield inside the waist ban!
I got a xdm 3.8 9mm compact,with a Harwell holster.Love it.
I carried full sized guns for years, but most days it's a steel J 357 with an Airweight 38 backup. I shoot the silly little things well and find them a lot of fun. They are perhaps just a little challenging. They shoot almost as well as full sized guns in my hands and carry quite effortlessly. For bigger guns I go all out with a 5" 1911 or 4" N frame with boot grips. Most mid sized guns are so wide they don't carry any better.
Genuinely suprised Alex didnt put a Mauser 98 on this list, despite not being concealable
I carry a Taurus PT111 G2 Millenium with a Galco holster made for an M&P 9c. My first gun that I carried was an M&P 9 full size in a Haley Strategic INCOG holster.
I am a big believer in fat boolits at slow speeds. That is why my go to carry gun is a Charter Arms Bulldog Pug .44 Special that has been dehorned including the hammer spur. It is light and easily concealed and accurately puts 240 gr lead boolits downrange. I would rather carry my Taurus 1911 in .45 ACP but I know I will choose the .44 Pug as I can easily put it in a pocket and go. Mine has a Bahrimi lip grip on it so it does not need a holster at all and can be easily covered by a tee shirt. A pair of strip clips give me another 12 rounds for reloads. Being so light and small causes me to choose it to carry everyday and everywhere.
Ruger LC9s, with Hornady Critical Defense. My wife and I love them!
I just wouldn't trust a rim fire cartridge after I had the same one and mine misfired twice and I had cci 22mag in there the bullets were about 3weeks old and I didn't find lent or anything in there
Me & my old buddy have been together daily for over 15 years , my old Colt 1911 .45 . (yeah most ppl consider it a brick) But I'm a big old guy & I often barely notice it's there , I'm aware of it , I'm just so used to it that I notice it more if I'm not wearing it .
I have a Rossi 357 magnum with a 2 inch barrels with a cheap cloth in the in the waist holster and I have no problem cancelling it to where people don't know that I'm carrying
Just discovered your channel, great videos my ccw is Glock 26.
love my 442 awsome conceal carry
Good video and new subscriber. How about a 5 guns of underappreciated firearms. Ie really good guns that aren't way over shown on UA-cam. So no ar's ak's 500, 870, and so on.
I have carried the LCP before, I like it. Also not wearing the black shirt helped the viewer see the guns better.
I've only recently discovered your channel and have only seen a couple of videos, but so far, I've enjoyed the content. I've been carrying for a number of years and I switch back and forth between carry guns. My main weapon is a Springfield XD9 with 4" barrel. I've replaced the factory sights with TFOs by Truglo and a Viridian X5L. I carry it in a hybrid holster made by Hidden Hybrid Holsters, which in my opinion, is the best IWB out there. I also carry a S&W Bodyguard .380. It's my favorite carry piece. It also has a holster made by Hidden Hybrid Holsters that also has a spare mag carrier. Whenever I travel, I typically IWB my XD and ankle carry my BG.380 in a Desantis Die Hard ankle rig.
I'm only 17, so I can't carry a weapon legally. But, my dad does use his concealed carry out everyday. He carries a Springfield XDS .45. Incredibly comfortable gun and a very easy gun to shoot. You would think that it would be a little bit bad to shoot, but it really isn't. I'd say it's around a 1911 type recoil. love that little gun.
A bit surprised the m&p shield 9 or 40 wasn't placed in this top 5. I myself cc the 40. I love how it feels and handles. Crisp snap recoil not too much. Smooth trigger and fits perfecrly in the hand. Yes I like the safety as well. Some other youtube channel said safeties are for novices. Anyway, awesome vid.
