Vlad, I love Soma like I loved Madonna in the ‘80. I have Lyra and is a dream. I’d love to have the Pulsar, but i think that is too difficult for me. Btw: congratulations to men and Women in Soma for your incredible instruments.
Anyone know why my bass drum would be going slower than when done in the video? It matches up perfectly when triggered by 4 but not 2 like shown here? I have tempo set the same? Did they modify the triggers a bit, this is a brand new model I just bought
Thank you Vlad. Can you explain what happened to the sound around 10:05? Because it seemed no new connections were made and no knobs moved, but the bass drum sound snaps into focus. Maybe there was some cross-talk into the cable for the bass drum trigger which was removed when the wires were moved so they were not touching?
actually, I think it's probably the room noise being picked up in the mic? It's more clear to tell in the Snare Drum video. It sounds like you have the Pulsar-23 sound over loudspeakers in the room, so when you speak and mix in the sound from the mic, it introduces some smearing of the Pulsar sound as well.
We can not modulate the release !?? for a HH it's so important. I'm disapointed. I've tried the trick with VCA or with Trig input but it's not sounding the same way. Rel sound gound, that's a shame.
Thanks for continuing this series! Just got my Pulsar and can’t wait to work with these tutorials.
Such a valuable resource! Thanks for everything, Vlad! 🥰
Can't wait for the rest of the ornament-8 videos! 🤩
Thank you so much, Vlad! This is really useful.
That diode is awesome!
Ok, with these new ideas my possibilities increased with quite a factor.. tnx

Thanks Vlad for these explanations !
Thank you so much!!!
thanks a lot.
Thank you... now I finally understand the diode module... I could never really follow the instructions in the manual to produce velocity variation.
Any ideas how to use the capacitor too?
I think it causes pulses to decay... Or something

I switched off the camera mic :)

Is it hyperbolic to call this the greatest invention to ever come out of Russia?
