This thing is so dope. I'm sitting on my porch and watching these vids while waiting for FedEx to arrive with it. The funkiest groove machine ever made.
...I admire Vlad and his company...soon to have Lyra, Cosmos and Ether 2...keep on the great work, you are the most interesting electronic gear makers!
I'm gonna have to get one of those some day. The possibilities are endless, and it has that awesome "gritty" sound like the Lyra. 11:41 is a really interesting sound.
I look forward to more videos on pulsar from you Vlad. And many more interesting machines. I need to play with the pulsar again this week end. It's such a wicked drone synth :D
20:14 I just got one and was going to return it as this keeps happening. Why does it do this? Where the note hangs and u can't hit until it finishes the error. Thanks
@somasynths can I ask another question. When you trigger say the snare with the devisions, then u hit the plates to add more overdubs. Is it right the volume is super low but when I remove clips it is the normal volume. I want it to be the same volume with both at the same time.
Wait, are the 1/4 jack work both ways? I was just always using them as a separate outs for drum and fx modules. They can also work as external signal in? :o This is crazy. Haven't seen anything about this feature in the manual!
Thanks for making these videos, very very useful! May I ask, what device did you use to bring in the sample? Does the audio signal need to be amplified first to modular levels, or would it work with just the output of a sampler for example?
Just killing that machine! I didn’t realize how much skill you have, Now I know. I just placed my order because of the variety, possibilities, and uniqueness. Now I understand why people prefer analog machines. You DO know the music you just made could be played in a club, used in a TV soundtrack and more, right? This is inspiring. Thank you for the lesson in creativity. By the way, did the Pulsar save the sample you fed into it or do you have to keep the sample continuously playing?

@@somasynths Ah, okey, nice. But can you find a way to mute the mic input when we hear the pulsar in some way, maybe with some type of gate. Most channels do this. thx V.

Thanks so much for making these! I've learned a lot from this series.
Instant classic. I was on the list for a long wait, but totally worth it. Sounds are great and unique, build quality is high, inspiration is on 11
yea, I don't have anything that is built this solid.
Yes! Glad you resumed it!
I have opened and made my first sounds, and it is just like in the tutorials. Thanks Vlad and team.

@djembeboyzach if you use impulse converters it doesn't affect the sensors and looper work. If you connect the clock divider directly - it is.
Great work, Vlad!
Such a good groove when the radio came in!
Fantastic tutorial(s)! Thank you
I've just bought a Plulsar 23,hoping to merge it with syntrx2..In your tutorials which vid is a good start for a beginner of this machine?

Hi Vlad, what external gear are you triggering to get the voice sample @14.51?
I put it from a PC based DAW.
Ok great. I’ve just ordered a Pulsar 23. Thanks
Vlad, my shipment is lost. it's been 3 months since you guys shipped it..

Pls record the output from Pulsar with quality converters... Not camera mic... Thx
It is recorded exactly as you said - by a normal converter. But camera mic also gets sound from pulsar while I speak and play at the same time
