I love all the ornaments! My mom made me an ornament every year until she passed. So I have 49 ornaments full of memories when we put up the tree. I do it for my kids too…So we have 29 for my son and 26 for my daughter. Then my husband and I buy an ornament every time we take a vacation. Our tree is overflowing but full of great memories😊
Helen thank you for the ornament parade. I love how each one is a special memory. I hope you do one every year. And yes they are a lot of inspirational. I can’t wait for Tuesdays when you do a video. Thank you. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I hope to meet you someday. 💕
I just loved seeing all of your ornaments, and saw some really cute finishing ideas! I love the one Misty did with the little bells on the bottom! Thanks for sharing with us!
Oh, this was great. They are all so wonderful because it is lovely stitching and most importantly wonderful memories. Also, you have eno7gh kitty ornaments to have an extra tree with just cats. Lol.
Love seeing all your cute ornaments! I’m stitching your Pi ornament for my grandson this year. He is going to college next year to become a math teacher!
Your collection is so wonderfully eclectic, from Santa’s to cats to penguins and more. Lots of inspiration here. It will be fun to see what you add this holiday season. Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas!
Hi Helen I love cats my cat was watching while I watched your review. My cat loves her time under the Christmas tree she goes crazy when her toys get lost under the tree skirt. You rock as a stitcher.
Im digging all the ornament parades this year! Your ornaments were beautiful. I had not thought of putting grommets instead of sewing the hangers in, what a great idea! Thanks for sharing!
I'm so glad you led off with Britty Kitty! Those were my favorites each year when Michelle was designing. I hate that she just kind of "dropped off the face of the earth" because this Crazy Cat Lady loved her charts!
Wow! So many gorgeous ornaments! I was curious about the Frosted Pumpkins and found their publications page which shares what year each design was in. So if others are curious they can search Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery Publications and find out which years the designs were in.
Love them all and how fun to have so many from others! I would love to be on an ornament swap sometime just for that reason since I really don’t have any stitchy friends! 😊 I have 29, 30, ,31 and 32 for this year and these last 4 are in different stages of finishing! It’s been fun and I’m actually considering all ornaments and Mira’s for next year only! 😮we’ll see!
Yes on the inspiration Helen! So fun seeing all of your ornaments and finishes and great ideas! And MEMORIES, yes, the memories with ornaments, so special. Thank you, I really enjoyed it all. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Stephanie
Cute ornaments! I like the variety of finishes you have. All my ornaments are finished as pillows because that's all I knew how to do back then, so I just keep doing it that way each year because it's easy😊 Gotta make it work! 😂
Wow! I will definitely be looking for a few of these! You are both inspirational and intimidating with the stitching you do! The silver bird with the beads is so elegant, even if it appears simple! I LOVE the little deer with your initial. I looked on My Perpetual Project...wrong person?
Love each and every one of your ornaments. I really need to discipline myself to do an ornament a month, or at least something like that. Is there a thread count that works best for ornaments, or do you just use what the designer suggests? I made a couple in the past but they turned out too small. I’m pretty sure that it was on 32 ct linen. All of yours seem so well proportioned to each other. Thanks for the showing, I love them all. Would love to see a picture of your tree.
I almost never use what the designer suggests, instead I go through my bucket of scraps to see what I have that will work. It's a good way to use them up. I actually prefer a smaller ornament, but I typically just do the math and make something I already have work.
This was fun!! When we added an extra dog to our family last year, we lost the place that we used to put our big tree. We used a pencil tree and have only handmade ornaments on it - most of them stitched. We're doing the same thing this year, but next year I'm going to need a different tree because I have too many stitched ornaments for the pencil tree! But I love having them and have quite a number from years past that need to be ffo'd. 🪡👠

We do the same thing with trip ornaments! Our trees are full of memories! ❤
Great ornaments. Love how your finishes have changed over the years and the memories you have of when they were stitched. Keep stitching

July is a great time to get them started! Then you have the rest of the year to finish them up
Your collection is so wonderfully eclectic, from Santa’s to cats to penguins and more. Lots of inspiration here. It will be fun to see what you add this holiday season. Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas!
