What incredible Goodwill finds!!!! I haven't found anything that spectacular as a Mira at mine, but I did find a lovely sampler for my boys' room once, and a few handmade Christmas ornaments. Number 2, please!!! Enjoy the rest of your summer, ours is over on Monday!!! I can't believe how early us Floridians go back!
Who in their right mind would put those lovely pieces in the Goodwill? I am glad they will be loved in their new homes. Those frames are beautiful. Great video, Helen.😊
I love that you went to Goodwill on vacation. My kind of lady! I do that and also used book stores. Thx for rescuing those beautiful pieces. Looking forward to the spool tutorial. Weather from Storm Debby coming your way. We're almost done with the after effects. The rivers are cresting tonight. Be safe. Keep stitching
Thank you. I do have the 1st angel finished hanging in my living room, plus I have all the other patterns. Love, love this design. As for the month of the year houses I am also doing those. Have the 1st Santa's house just about done. Love your flosstubes. Enjoy what left of summer.
Those stitches you saved are amazing!! It makes me sad to think someone just gave them away. My daughters assure me that will never happen to my stuff. 🤞🏼 anything you want to share about that amazing spool, I will watch. I need to snag a spool first!! lol!! 1,2
Thank you for the kind words you shared about Daleen. She would have been so humbled by it. 💕 I love your patriotic stitch that you wrapped on the spool. Your finishes are always lovely.
I can't believe anyone would put hose gorgeous finished pieces in goodwill, it truly is a travesty especially since goodwill would never give the true $ value for them. 😢 I am simply loving your spool. I already purchased the Spools & pattern + my mom really likes it too. Thank you for the chance. My choice is #2. 😊
Saving those works 👍Landfill makes me shiver! Yes please, tutorial on the spool thingy, I can see a few of these being done, looks really good. Thank you and have a lovely two weeks 🌞
So glad you were able to save those stitches. Beautiful. I think if my stitches wind up in good will, I hope someone would enjoy them as much as I have. Love all the things you are working on or finished from in the forest book. I think this book is fabulous. Thanks, Helen, for your time and inspiration. I always enjoy visiting with you.
So sorry for your loss. I’m not familiar with Sew Blessed but I will check out her videos. I hope she is happily stitching in that great stitching retreat in heaven. Great rescue at the Goodwill. I’m always sad when I see those beautiful heirloom pieces that have been abandoned. So glad they are going to be loved.
What amazing finds! So glad you could save someone's hard work. I love the angels. I'll have to keep checking for those spools. I never seem to be able to find them so ...🤞 1, 2

They are stunning. It is always nice to know that the people who stitched them put a lot of love and work into them and that people like you rescue them and will be cherished. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat
Pigeon coop book just jumped in to my cart again. I have so many things to stitch but who can resist a new pattern? Thank you for recording your videos. Love watching 1, 2 or more a week. Lots of the old ones to catch up on.

@@helend.flosstube I've done a couple of other advent boxes from other groups but this is my first from Historical Sampler and I think from the description it sounds amazing!
Those saved pieces were lovely to see. Thanks for helping to send them to new homes. I consider myself fortunate to have been able to purchase some of the large spools from Milling About Maine. Already planning what to stitch for them, I think my first project will be something from Primitive Needle. 2.
Helen, love your floss tubes.. after your go through of the Max Pigeon book I had to order it. Came yesterday in the mail so many charts I want to do. Thanks for the preview. #1.
Hi Helen! I'm so glad you saved those stitches at the Goodwill! It's sad to think that's where many stitcher's hard work will end up one day, but I think it's wonderful that those pieces have a chance of getting a good home with someone who loves them. I want to say I heard someone mention there is a flosstube episode out there somewhere where someone shows the way to correctly get floche off the skein. I know Arlene Cohen stitches with it, and I bet if you ask her she can tell you. Have a great week!
Hi Helen! So glad you had a nice vacation! All of us stitchers are grateful to you for rescuing the stitches from the thrift store! So sad for the person who stitched them. I’m going to have to break down and buy the Pigeon Coop Designs book - I’ve been wanting that one since I first started seeing sneak peeks on Instagram. And I love the Lighthouse by Cottage Garden Samplings. There’s not enough time to stitch everything, but I sure want to, lol!
Wow!! Great goodwill finds!! There’s one of some beach huts in one of my local charity shops and I keep debating. If it’s still there next time I visit I shall grab it I think!! I’m just stitching the Cottage Garden Lighthouse - I’ve also done the Castle and the Barn - they are all lovely to stitch!! The Floating House (the latest one) looks amazing!!
Hoping you are enjoying your summer. The lake sounded very relaxing and fun. I'm glad the heat has subsided for you. It's 99 right now here in Houston with sky high humidity. We live indoors in the summer. Enjoyed the video. 2
@@helend.flosstube Thank you. I have done quite a few Mirabilia patterns and recently started on some Nora Corbett. Started Winter Queen in 2000, and just added the other Queens as they became available. People do admire my Queens, but recently I have seen them done in other colours and some very interesting background fabrics. Itching to give that a go.
You sure did score at Goodwill and I am so happy that you rescued those stitched beautiful pieces and found new homes for them! I look forward to your tutorial on the spool finish, and you can do two or just make one video with all of the information in it! The tree piece is adorable! Always love seeing your pieces! My Max Pigeon book came! Love it and have the fir trees kitted up. I have the book, fabric, etc in my Go Bag as we seem to be having more weather that is severe - like a tornado this past week - so I need some fun stitches ready always. Cannot be in the basement with no stitches to do! Have to say our all house generator truly paid for itself this week with having no power. Such a Goodwill find. Maine seems to be a good place to go thrifting as per FlossTubers. Thanks for a fun video as usual.
