This is such a great song. Now I just need a two hour long, instrumental version to fall asleep to. Seriously, it's so soothing. Beck's ability to plan and execute music will never cease to amaze me.
A Secret Fan Oh, much more than just a reference! Season 3, Episode 14: Bendin' In The Wind guest-stars Beck as himself. Bender becomes a folksinger after being broken, and starts TOURING WITH BECK!
His Bruv is on UA-cam his name is John Turrell, really talented singer , and they are also cousins of Max Beesley the actor from suits, Gateshead lads.
I have listened to all of Becks albums, my favorite being Midnite Vultures. But this song, I mean its ok and all but it just seems a bit kind of flashy and poppy, not really like old Beck in my opinion
Agreed. Eagerly awaiting the rest of the album. I'm hoping for more of the style from Odelay! and Midnight Vultures. The last album was a snoozefest...
yeah I realise that to an extent and that's certainly what it was about 10 years ago. However judging from last years' "Dreams" I do believe it looks like he is going the Pop route. Not that that is a bad thing but I mean I just feel he can do so much better. If not lyrically then maybe musically
To everyone who can't get past the "beat." Beck is great precisely BECAUSE he can tap into different genres and make it his own sound. Once you get past what that sound represents to you and accept Beck's artistic genius, you'll fall in love. Don't let negativity deprive it's enjoyability. Ya I just made that word up.
I've been hearing this on the radio for ever I I could never put my finger on who it was. I've been a fan of beck for years and I never suspected it omg
My sister's husband posted on FB that this was his "song of the summer 2016." He and my sister were killed in a plane crash a week and a half ago. This was def the best song for him this summer as they truly lived life to the fullest celebrating the "right now" and making every moment a WOW! Kind of moment. Such a cool song.
Beck continues to WOW everybody including myself of course. I remember when Mellow Gold first hit the airwaves with Loser. I knew he was a genius then and he has always remained my talented chameleon of musical genre bending. I love you Beck! Wow!
Ok lets be real. After that ridiculously good folk album, he wanted to try something different, I think its awesome. Beck is making music for the love of music, lets appreciate that.
I'm hoping for a highly beck-ified redirect of what we've been hearing lately. Might be good but you can't make steak with gristle so if it stays locked in the ideas of modern music I think it'll suffer because of it.
Beck has never made steak with gristle. He's always taken the gristle and somehow made an apple out of it. Makes no sense to me but that's Beck for you. Lol.
I remember hearing Loser in 1993, thinking this is a cool song but that the artist would be a 1 hit wonder. Thank you Beck for proving me wrong. This song has a cool hook.
To everyone in the comments who are saying that they hate this song and that they miss the old Beck just know that artists should be aloud to evolve and Beck is a ever changing artist
Damn you...I don't think it's his WORST album....I've certainly learned to appreciate it more than I did over the years, but I still can't give it the 'oh it's an under rated classic' status many do. 'Mutations' will always be his true follow-up to 'Odelay' for me. 'Midnite' sounds like a personal mix-tape of shit he was doing that eventually evolved into the brilliant 'The Information' years later.
my favorite beck album is definitely One Foot in the Grave, I love his eccentric acoustic songs. I also enjoy this side of beck too, he is one of the most creative, diverse artists out there
you're the first comment to mention that EPIC native american flute! Salute to you because everyone else is talkin about a commercial...I wish there were more tracks with this Native vybe in it
Acura is a car manufacturer in my books Edit: OHHH YOU'RE HERE FROM AN ACURA COMMERCIAL, I SEE Edit 2: NO THEY DID NOT REALLY JUST COMPARE THAT UGLY AS MDX CROSSOVER WITH A NSX
Saw him live with the Chili Peppers and this was my favorite part of his set..he played this video in the back and it was so sick. The beat to this is so amazing
I feel as though this song is a knock to pop culture, particularly how Kanye West seemed to believe that Beck wasn't talented. So he mocked him by throwing together a sampled, synth'd out song, even insofar as to include the 808 sound. Great job. Bonus - it's catchy!
He never said beck wasn't talented or a genius. Just that he shouldn't have gotten that Grammy and because of the category it was under it makes sense. He actually likes beck.
+Scott Keith Kanye produces not only his own music, but he personally makes a lot of beats for some popular Rappers. Keep lying to yourself, because Ye is more talented than you could ever dream to be
***** what Edward said, it's more of your own taking. My personal enlightenment were the lines sifted in there, such as "all the rules that you chose to use to get loose", blunt in nature.
beck cracks me up. I love that he was able to just combine so many modern music tropes and combine them to make a pretty decent song. It's catchy all the while having "it's like wow, it's like right now" as the chorus. Hats off mr beck
Wow, such positive ART. Makes me happy. The world is a better place. Saw him in Columbus with the Kid. Me and my daughter will have the happy memory always.
I saw Beck a few years ago and he got up on stage and said 'this is a riff that came to me from 1975' and played the riff in question. It was a good riff. Beck's great, I love Beck.
I love how Beck blends genres together. The music video is just the right amount of wtf.
You mean the right amount of wow?
Too bad he's not as good artist as Beyoncé! :D
Micah Buzan truest statement ever
Beck is the right amount of wtf
10/10
This is probably Owen Wilson's favorite song.

What😐
Hehehehe
Beck has never had a genre to define him
I would say his genre is just plain Beck.
idk, I'd say that Beck embodies ALTERNATIVE quite aptly.
+Kenton Anderson alternative hasn't been a legitimate genera since the 90's
still better than the current trend where every single band is its own "unique" genre, like garage-dub microrock or screamo-beat trap-soul
+Chloe Jones Alternative is like Track and Field. It is the rest of the unorganized stuff thrown into a group to give it a sense of identity.
This is such a great song. Now I just need a two hour long, instrumental version to fall asleep to. Seriously, it's so soothing. Beck's ability to plan and execute music will never cease to amaze me.
So crazy to see how much Beck has changed music wise. Digging this!
Beck is forever changing... the key to his longevity. He'll be around 1,000 years from now... ;-}
People will still be listening to his music then, anyway. ;)
A Secret Fan I'm guessing then, you're not too familiar with Futurama?
mAMA.paNDA bear No...they made a reference to Beck on Futurama? Maybe I should check it out ;)
A Secret Fan Oh, much more than just a reference! Season 3, Episode 14: Bendin' In The Wind guest-stars Beck as himself. Bender becomes a folksinger after being broken, and starts TOURING WITH BECK!
Guys, this is beck doing his thing. He never sticks to one genre he's always jumping around. Let him do his thing
That's because it's original, you chauvinistic goof.
Wins Grammy for a folk album
Next release electro hip hop
Obviously Beck...obviously.
I don't like throwing around the term "genius"...
...but Beck, man...
Wow.
Hey its Proximity!!!
Suchwow
Lmao prox is probably adding this to his channel now
+MbTheGreat // MB hey same
This song is BOMB! I made a cover of it, it's on my channel. I also made the beat.

Forever reinventing himself and pushing the boundaries of music, Beck returns with the bonkers "Wow"; it's our Vevo UK - TRACK OF THE WEEK!
beck is just bonkers!
Everytime I listen to Beck, it's like Wow! It's like right now! :)
lol the guy who did art direction for this video spoke at my school last tuesday! He's a cool dude

This is song is absolutely "WOW"! I love Beck's variety !
the collages are also Wow!
Love it. All the dislikes are from people who haven't listened to a Beck album that was released before 2014.
The last album was a snoozefest...
yeah I mean Its good that he is progressing a bit but I am not sure that this is the right direction? :/
You do understand Beck has no direction? He does not force anything. He just makes what he wants to.
yeah I realise that to an extent and that's certainly what it was about 10 years ago. However judging from last years' "Dreams" I do believe it looks like he is going the Pop route. Not that that is a bad thing but I mean I just feel he can do so much better. If not lyrically then maybe musically
Beck proving once again that not only can he do it too, but he can do it better.
As soon as I hear that flute I get an overwhelming nostalgic feeling, gives me goosebumps.
Same here
Same miss dancing with my best friend in my room to this song
GET LOOSE WITH THE LUMINOUS MOOSE!
Well, you could, but you might get arrested. Or you could just try getting loose with the luminous moves instead.
Jenni McWright "Whoooooosh" is the sound it made as it flew over Jenni's head.
Are you sure that's the sound it made? You might want to reference a lyrics video, just to be sure.

To everyone who can't get past the "beat."
Beck is great precisely BECAUSE he can tap into different genres and make it his own sound. Once you get past what that sound represents to you and accept Beck's artistic genius, you'll fall in love. Don't let negativity deprive it's enjoyability.

I like Beck. It sucks that a car commercial brought me here. But I dont care. Im grateful af
Holy moly I found another foley

Alex Foley Yes they do actually lol. Friends from high school do. I think its cool
same here lol...only friends from my high school call me foley. kind of funny
90's beck is back!!!!
thats exactly what i though haha
Beck seems to be simultaneously doing a parody and a tribute to today's modern music...just like he did with Midnite Vultures :))
Pretty dope with headphones on.
true dat!
yup,especially ones with good bass.
It's like we're on dope
Makes a HUGE difference.

Thank you Honda then?
Stuff like this is why Beck is always one of my favorites.
Me too. I've been heavily into Beck for over a decade.....I think he did a great job here. But I generally really like probably 90-95% of his music.
If Beck is currently channeling his Midnite Vulture's vibe, I can't wait for the next "Debra"
Beck is like a chameleon always changing his colors. I love the unpredictability of his music (:
This is why he wins grammys. For diverse songwriting like this
Most underrated musician of our times. He's great
Beck can do anything. And this song shows it.
can't stop listening. each time i like it more than the time before.
Psychedelic Hip-Hop? Beck never ceases to amaze.
not quite hiphop - hiphop has round regularm rhythm here its broken
This specific piece of art is extraordinarily underated.

The Beck from Odelay, Midnight Vultures and Guero is beck! Finally!!!
People who only listened to his last album, and Loser are freaked out right now haha
This doesn't really sound like anything from Guero at all.
D kiky it's not about having similar sounds. It's about similar conceptualization.
Beck continues to WOW everybody including myself of course. I remember when Mellow Gold first hit the airwaves with Loser. I knew he was a genius then and he has always remained my talented chameleon of musical genre bending. I love you Beck! Wow!
OMG I LOVE HOW BECK WINS A GRAMMY BECAUSE OF MORNING PHASE THEN HE MAKES A GREAT SONG TO TWERK AND STUFF

I've only heard 2 beck songs: this and Loser. The contrast is so huge...
He’s very good as an artist mixing it up
Yeah, one is a great song, the other is..."wow".
If you haven’t yet, listen to ‘Lonesome Tears’ for another huge contrast
I like it...but like his BEST shit, I only liked it at first but ended up loving it.
This new album will rank upon Beck's best. I can feel it.
Keep this shit flowin, Beck. Make the world realize you deserve the hell out of that grammy, and more.
Classic Beck. Reflecting today's music back at us with his own weirdo version. I approve.

Yep, good stuff, gets me in a good mood whenever I listen to it : the Happy-Beck effect!

Everyones right, it's really weird, and I can't stop listening... it's so good at the same time.
That's Beck. I know what you mean! Weird but I like.
To everyone in the comments who are saying that they hate this song and that they miss the old Beck just know that artists should be aloud to evolve and Beck is a ever changing artist

I feel as though this song is a knock to pop culture, particularly how Kanye West seemed to believe that Beck wasn't talented. So he mocked him by throwing together a sampled, synth'd out song, even insofar as to include the 808 sound.
Great job. Bonus - it's catchy!
That's what I think it is as well. He says I can do it to and waaaaay better than you and your hired people who do all your work for you. Ha!
He never said beck wasn't talented or a genius. Just that he shouldn't have gotten that Grammy and because of the category it was under it makes sense. He actually likes beck.

Great song Beck!
Honestly I love this one way better than the official video.
This is amazing satire! The commentary on current rap/pop is amazing! The word play is superb!
He manages to make something terrible into something into entertaining.
Thanks, Kohls, for helping me find this in your headphone department at the very right-hand corner of your store. Greatly appreciate it.
So many comments about the video being trippy ; but he was a child of the 70s ! This is stuff he probably remembers! 😃😍
Song makes no sense but that beat goes hard 😈🔥🔥🔥🔥
Crissy C It's a lot of hidden meanings and such, but at first glance it's nonsense.
Beck is the best ever...fuck you all
This song makes perfect sense to me. Life, living, existing, etc. It's like.....wow
You have to have your Third Eye Open to understand the concept
This actually is one of those songs where he was like "I bet I can say gibberish and people will like it" lol
How did I get here!?! This is like the high version of music.

Yes...
how do we know this is a moose though.??.. (I was thinking arctic snow leopard)....
hehe xD I,m just thinking its a play on words moose/moves, Beck likes to have little jokes in his songs :)
More like a moose burping; probably stirred up too much internal gas from getting too loose...
Don't dance too soon after dining, kids...

This song is so cool. It's like if a pan flute was introduced into 2016
