Pray that the alt right don't get elected there. America's problems are a preview of what people are poised to vote in at like r different EU countries.
@peaches1206 much needed. I'm not kidding you when I tell you that a country under alt right control is hell on earth. I am in Florida BTW. We have been run by the alt right for quite some time. No safety laws. Sexual harassment is basically legal (there is a law on the books, but only rich people or someone who has a lawyer willing to volunteer to take a case that is lost 95% of the time case can enforce their rights under it. You can be evicted from your home in 8-12 days if your landlord claims you owe them anything, and you can't get a court date to defend yourself if it is not true, unless you pay whatever they claim you owe first, otherwise you get a summary judgement. They can say you owe a million dollars and unless you can deposit a million dollars with the court, it is assumed to be true and you are thrown out in only a few days. Landlords will make their website just refuse to run your bank card to artificially create defaults if you are black or deemed 'annoying' (for example autistic). Fatal car crashes are very common. The communter train service in Miami collides with cars dozens of times per year, practially every week or more because of defective gates, lack of safety features, and the number of people trying to commit suicide here. France and Germany had an alt right leader before. Don't expect it to be much better the second time around.
I live up Hwy 151 out in candler up on Mt Pisgah, a tree fell and crushed half my house but I’m safe so that’s all that matters. Praying for everyone in WNC
Sorry that happened to you I used to live in The Pisgah as well about halfway up the mountain. Y'all know where that closed down casino on the water is? Yeah I used to live halfway up that mountain.
What I find most disturbing about all of this is that countless people who spent years, decades, and even lifetimes preparing for situations like this, saw most, if not all of what they prepared, washed away or buried in mud. We try so hard to be ready for any eventuality but there's always the potential for something we never, in our wildest dreams, thought could happen.
Yes, but then others remain who can lighten the loads of these brothers. These times of trial will either unite us, or destroy our nation. Seek The Lord, while he may be found. The Lord is a refuge and strength, a very present help in times of need.
North Carolina is a coastal state, so why is it beyond imagination that a hurricane could hit & cause destruction? I lived in St. Louis, MO when Hurricane Ike hit and it created massive flooding, and that city is hundreds of miles from any coastline. Natural disasters can happen ANYWHERE which is the entire point of preparing. Yes, your preps might be destroyed, or they might not & you can save some lives with them.
I deliver medical supplies out of the Charlotte area and was told that h.o.s. is out the window in a state of emergency. Boss man asked for volunteers, so it looks like I'm going to be heading your way today and tomorrow. Edit: Normally, I deliver medical supplies, but apparently today I'm bringing in food and water to the Asheville area. I hope to be there soon 🙏
Been dealing with these issues during and after hurricanes for 30 years in Florida!! After 3 back-to-back September 2004 hurricanes affecting the Atlantic Coast, in which as a single mom, I evacuated my entire family and pets 3 times in 1 month , CNN and other news outlets announced it was fine to return to our homes. This was a week after the storms. I drive thru 2 states to return, only to discover that I would be dealing with 10 more days of no power in my area of St Augustine, no ice was available for 10 days, and the air temperature remained steady in the nineties!! Later, FEMA was useless and denied the repairs to my home, leaving me to fit the bill.😮. Six months later, I sold our house and moved inland never to return to a coastal or intercoastal area ever again! LOL. People...the news coverage will stop in a few days, while you're left to pick up the pieces. My heart goes out to all affected, as I know the frustration and the financial hit is severe. Prayers for North Carolina and Tennessee!!🙏🙏🙏
FEMA is absolutely useless. They were literally using our clinic’s parking lot as a staging point, and flying helicopters out behind us. We had evac’ed to my mom’s clinic, since it was a few miles inland (for Hurricane Michael). My 4 year old and I, my parents, my grandmother, and my aunt and uncle all hunkered down there together, and when we came out, my aunt and uncle were the only ones who still had a usable home. We had insurance, but it took 4 YEARS before insurance paid out on my house, and even then, it wasn’t actually all fixed. We got nothing from FEMA. Not so much as a water bottle.
FEMA is the worst. People should never depend on the government for anything, because they pick and choose which neighborhoods to assist. Obama completely ignored the HUGE flood in the midwest, and they just thumbed their nose, and thousands of people volunteered, high school students were there filling sand bags and proud of it. I was proud of them too.
Im still in St Augustine. Just strong gusts this time. Few smallish branches came down. A bill board by Target was ripped in half. Jax news predicted the trajectory spot on.
U can at least thank your mayor a liar who rejects Jesus Christ as Lord, supports Transgenders policies ,ie men/boys in girls/ladies locker rooms etc. The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. [Nahum 1:3 KJV]
Prayers for my niece and her children please. They are stuck on a mountain in Boone. Only way to get out is to hike but she has a disabled child that can't make the hike. Neighbors are trying to get together to get food and water to her and other neighbors that can't make the hike
Dude 260 roads out. The military is flying in supplies. It will get sorted out but is such a wide spread devastation We have 2.8 million Americans in military service. 218,000 are overseas. ( many of them protecting our embassies around the word) so no the majority are not overseas Florida, Georgia, ,Tennessee and North Carolina are most affected. Tons of supplies and donations are coming Hang in there Don’t think anyone say level of devastation in the mountains. Many of us donating and praying. H massive help coming
There is no military bringing anything to any of the devastated areas. Better get your facts straight or are YOU here to spread lies? Only private citizens are trying to help and are being told to stand down. Private helicopter pilot was threatened with arrest for trying to rescue elderly couple by scum fire chief in Lake Lure. Military copters being told to stand down. Residents in mountains are being stranded. Watch Dr. Jane Ruby and/or Stew Peters channels for HONEST reporting about this planned disaster. Don't listen to this shill. Better wake up people. P.S. - the national guard is NOT being deployed to help Americans or to protect our borders, as they should be. Too busy being in places tbey DON'T belong.
My husband worked with Duke power on line crew. Just retired last October after 43 years. He said Asheville crew are top notch. God bless them and their families. I know from experience that they are unsung heros.
God bless him. I know he and all the other men working to restore power must be so tired. Their efforts are greatly appreciated by this mama of four in South Carolina.
Pull out the old Cash register or the cigar boxes used before computerized electric cash register with pencil & paper or solar one dollar calculators.😊
Florida law requires all gas stations to have generators for pumping gas. That eliminates a problem after a hurricane hits hard, until the tanks run dry.
This is more than a power outage. Even with power, getting fuel to these places is impossible right now. Look at some of the footage on other channels and see the devastation. Those people aren't getting gas any time soon.
The helicopters are dropping supplies - Mark Huneycutt captured it. Prayers and blessings to all the survivors and the families of those who did not survive.
Let me first say that I am so sorry for what you are experiencing. As a person who has lived in Puerto Rico I have experienced the power and devastation of hurricanes. I also know the slowness and the lack of help from the government. YOU HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO DO IT YOURSELF! The most important thing is to stay calm and loving toward one another!!!! Continue to be a community. Because people WILL turn rogue and that's when ALL hell breaks loose! You can't build when that happens. This isn't exactly for you. I see you are a level headed man. But other who may read my comment. Stay calm, stay loving, stay steady, share what you have, help one another, and we from the outside will do and send what we can. Stay blessed my prayers are with you...
@@terrybogart589 I was there in the late 70's. I still have family that lives in the mountains. I am so thankful for my heritage. Because I learned at an early age how to cope and live through these types of events. People over here haven't had to have those experiences and they aren't prepared. Even though they are told to prepare, to leave, to whatever they don't listen. It's better to be safe than sorry. Even if it didn't get as bad as they said it would. As for the earthquakes I'm sure it has to do with the off shore drilling they are doing. We used to have earthquakes. But never in that quantity. It would be every once in a while. The frequency they endure them now is CRAZY! I don't know if I could get used to that.
@@terrybogart589 pués se te olvidó Irma Cat 5! Entraron por Punta Santiago, yo estuve en mi techo por 103 dias, en Húcares y los terremotos fueron en el oeste! Remember we had ships from Latin nations but they were not allowed in to help…..Jones Act thing. Then the president was shocked that we were a “big ocean away”. Three weeks before we got the first supplies, by sea. The coordination and communication was so bad, they aired in water very near the entry and my home and we found out a year after the fact! Claro from Mexico had to step in to help, ATT had no choice but to give in! Now we have this Federal contractor dealing with tropical jungle for millions when their experience is in Wisconsin, for tens of thousands!???? Do you still live on the island? Where? I just built a tiny home in NC, my daughter is here teaching at ECU, my home is still in Culebra and Papa still lives in Húcares. Time for us all to KNOW…… IT IS MY LIFE, I MUST BE IN CHARGE AND MANAGE MY FUTURE AND PRESENT. NEXT WILL COME CONSPIRACIES, LIES, AND CLICK BAIT!! SICKENING!!! We haven't all become idiots. Stay sane for the good folks that are out there, even if there's just a few. Keep your decency and humanity in tact. For those who aspire to serve the Lord...Get to it and Godspeed.
My family lives in Asheville…..I was raised in Fairview. My sister and her family are still stranded in east Tenn. My brother lives in Fletcher. Im praying for all of you and wish that we could get to you all. We live in eastern NC, so we understand - many here lost everything in Floyd. But even during Floyd doesn’t compare to what I’ve seen on videos and have heard from my family. As a RN, the national guard had to come pick me up for work & I had to pack enough clothes for 3-4 days….I’m so so sorry, I’m so heartbroken and feel so helpless. I love my mountains. We’re contacting emergency services to see how we can donate whatever is needed and how to get it to the area. Much love and prayers to you ALL!!! ❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️
@@garybancroft4976 Thanks so much. She texted me last evening and they were able to take some back roads and come through Madison County to make it home. I’m am so heartbroken to see such devastation. I pray that you and your family are safe. Many, many prayers to you all!! 💔🙏🏼🙏🏼💔
Please let me know if you find out a rescue shelter or church and a delivery service where we can get our community together to send some water, food, clothes, whatever people need to the area. Thanks again so so very much!!
It's crazy. Took the family to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock earlier in the year for the first time. We all really liked it. This is so devastating. Have to pinch myself because it doest seem real. How is it that a Hurricane can produce such destruction inland in the mountains? That's one place you would expect to be pretty much safe from anything.
@@criticaloptimist7961 that’s what I used to think. Not only a hurricane but in the mountains the Spring thaw can send water rushing down and can be very destructive. That happened about 20 years ago in the Catskills. Boulders were moved, houses were washed away.
I haul fuel, tonight (Saturday) around 23:00 on my way to Johnson City I passed about 75 utility trucks from another state probably heading to help in the Erwin area. Also, in Newport I talked with a utility crew from Illinois that came in to help. The young man said they would get to work at sunrise. 🙏
You are correct brother we see it every time we go through a hurricane. Sad thing is we got two more coming that's possibly worse than that one. Let's pray they're wrong.
Thank you for updating and speaking your truth. I went through Andrew in South Florida. We were in a high rise and no water, or electricity for a week. Plus very hot outside. Since then, I have emergency stuff I always keep on hand. Always have canned food, a non-electric can opener, flashlights, candles, power banks always charged, cash and gun. My son has a gas stove (like a Coleman for camping) and large solar powered generator that can run a refrigerator if needed. Extra supplies of medicine that you need while everything is closed. We don't have a chain saw, but most our neighbors are handy and have one. Always make sure your car tanks are filled up before a storm. The #1 rule is if you know it is heading up your way, get the heck out of there! Your life is worth much more than staying put.
Prayers for all of you!🙏🏻 I went through Hurricane Katrina and last year Hurricane Ida here in Louisiana. It’s so hard and I know you are all suffering out there. Lifting you all in my prayers. 🙏🏻
Great show you’re giving important information! We live in the Caribbean on the island off of Puerto Rico! We did not have electricity for six months. We were prepared and always stay prepared. Most important was a large cystern we built out of concrete, underneath the house. generators recommend smaller ones so you can move them around. Most important is cash there are no ATM machines working or banks, Gasoline is important. we always keep about 30 gallons of gas. Stations will run out of gasoline And it’s important to limit your driving. We became a very strong community and shared food and entertainment ❤ you will survive and yes, it’s an amazing lesson.
Thanks for your excellent post. My son is in Candler, out of touch, I was just looking for what information there is. Never saw your channel before, thanks for what you do. Carry on.
My sister is somewhere around Asheville or Candler ... or Enka or whatever -- never quite sure where she might be since the last time we heard from her. "Bohemian" doesn't come close to describing her -- "borderline irrational" is probably more like it. Actually goes out driving in weather emergencies when people are told to stay home ... so she has tales of risk and danger to tell from driving through blizzards or around ROAD CLOSED barriers or sliding into ditches. She lives by "don't call me -- I'll call you", so I don't even know what her current contact information might be. Today the family waits to hear something ... at her leisure.
Anyone can grow sweet potatoes and potatoes in even cardboard boxes. You Tube is full of tutorials. Tuna pouches are 0.88cents at Walmart and can be stocked ahead of time. A single person can survive off a jar of peanut butter for one week. People are too busy watching TV to do the minimum learning required for prepping. All ancient wisdom lost thanks to modern convenience.
WELL EVEN IF THY DID PREP, MOST OF THESE PEOPLE LOST EVERYTHING, HOMES COMPLETELY WASHED AWAY FROM THE FLOODING. THERE IS NOTHING LEFT TO COMMUNITIES IN NC AND SC AND TENN
This is not true, the dollar store has tons of stuff, you can purchase as you go ,if you buyc1 can buy two,put one away beans are cheap,,rice can be cheap..oil can be cheap..put potatoes, onions in a cooler shut the lid..you can grow greens easily in the backyard, buy cans of sardines, tuna,, as a matter of fact I'll be doing that tomorrow..God bless everyone.
Seeds are free in swaps/food banks, I find jars for cheap everywhere, water bath canning is literally just a campfire/pot/thermometer….my point is we do it on 1 income and 7 ppl don’t make excuses. Stop eating out or doing ANYTHING extra and suddenly the $ is there.
Thanks so much for posting. I was so very concerned for you all. I was out in my garden up here in upstate NY chopping and dropping with my favorite tool, (my Permapasture Farm rice knife) and it reminded me to be praying for you all. This is for all of you: I quote this chapter whenever my son has a seizure, which happens quite often: I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore Psalm 121
Yes! The Lord will take care of His own. But I’m afraid that He has taken His hand of protection off of us and given us over to our own depravity. Praying that Jesus comes soon. ❤️🙏❤️🙏
My husband has had seizures for a couple decades. I found a long time ago if you hold an ice cube to the back of the neck it will break up the seizure. At least it works on my husband!
Upstate South Carolina here. Went to Ingles yesterday in my area and cash only. No bread on shelves and only skim milk left. Long checkout lines. Long lines at gas stations and restaurants that were open. Still a lot of power outages. Traffic lights out. A message to conserve water was sent out to our community. Lots of trees down and damage. My son in law works for railroad and worked 29 hours straight from Friday into Saturday trying to clear the railway from fallen trees and debris. My husband and I were prepared pretty well but are trying to help others. 🙏🙏🙏
Ashe county NC here (NW corner of the state). We weren't hit as badly as you, but it still looks a bit like a war zone here. Lots of trees down and roads washed out. The supermarkets just opened back up yesterday afternoon. Long lines at the gas stations. Some friends of mine have opened up a makeshift food kitchen at Molley Chompers Cidery, a local night spot. They're giving away hot meals and packaged food items. Let's just hope the next storm will not take the same path. Be well and tell your son in law to take good care of himself.
Glad you guys are ok. Sad to hear of all the devastation. I remember here in NJ with hurricane Sandy. Where I am was ok, just no power for 2 weeks. That was what started me in preparedness. Prayers for all affected.
Bravo! I live in Florida, in an area that is unaffected by the storm, and thank god my friends down here are alive and well. My family all live farther north in Illinois and Indiana, so they were unaffected by the storm. But we too have gawkers in the worst hit areas, and people died down here. That people will go in just to make vids is awful. If you are not there to help, or cannot help, stay home so that first responders, and people who can help can do so. If you can safely go to work, do it, and if you want to help, find an organization and help with food, water and clothing. People coming through this need the basics, not videos of their misery.
Would you call the fall of Sodom DEW? I'm tired of the obvious wrath of God being attributed to men that are incapable of doing anything beyond consuming and hoarding.
This only verifies that you can never have too much stored food. You can never be too prepared. It’s nice that you took your chainsaws to go help anyone who needs it. Our family tries to live a prepared life.
The only advice I want to add to this (I completely agree with you) is to make sure your food storage is not all in the same place. Cat 5 hurricane Michael dropped my roof on top of my food and water storage, so it ended up not being very helpful. 🤦♀️ Thankfully, I had some redundancies (like the Berkeley filter for water), so we were fine, but had I been dependent on that one pile of food/water, we would have been in trouble. I know you probably already know, since we preppers are all about redundancies and layering preps, but wanted to throw it out there for any newbies. 😊
Sir, you just got a new Subscriber. I have been "low-key" prepping for 6 years now---because God prompted me to, through "impressions" (spiritual) I was getting that that's what I needed to do---on behalf of not just myself, but also family members. I began with First Aid Kits. Anyway, it has been SO DIFFICULT to maintain my steady pressure of creating stores and supplies for these times while surrounded by scoffing and even antagonistic family members. God Bless you and your channel for being a leader and doing your best to get more people to wake up. I couldn't agree more. About everything you said.
Stay strong and remember Joseph in the Old Testament Bible. He prepared in 7 years of not good but of overwhelming plenty. Along the way, when prepping, I have helped so many people in need from everyday struggles and challenges. You are preparing as the Lord directs us in the Bible.
So, Armageddon is not from God? Who then? Oh the Libs? Yes, indeed, conspiracies? Of course! I think when we poop on the plate we eat from we simply perish.
I get what you are saying one day it seems like they get it then I get the comment I have gone down a rabbit hole. It's ok it brings me piece of mind and God is my encouragement
UA-cam is FULL of tragedy porn, man - good on you for having the decency to just report on what you saw and not create further problems by parking, taking videos, and getting in the way of the real helpers.
Yes, YT can appear to be some sick sadists pysop by pushing tragedy porn that many times is regurgitated without real valid sources. Circulates same over and over as if it’s closed off and working internally on AI set by the psychos
Thank you for keeping it real, sharing what's going on, and focusing on the community efforts that we need to get back to if we're going to make good things happen. I appreciate this video and your contribution to building a better tomorrow.
I live in Fairview and it is total death and devastation around me. I am thanking my Heavenly Father for my life. Please pray for us! No power or water. Thanks for bringing this to the attention of the public. WHERE IS OUR HELP???
The roads are gone. Water and food have been dropped by helicopter to many places. The public is aware. The whole world is aware. It’s just hard to get to you.
Your help comes from the Lord. It will also come from American citizens. The government WILL NOT HELP YOU. It was all over online that FEMA has no money coz they gave it to help Ill LEE GALS. TRUMP 2024🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
My heart is with you, brother. Our society has gone to pot. Thank you for the effort you put forth to help people. I pray that God will bless your efforts and your family.
Me,y wife and two kids visited the Ashville area a year ago. Stayed in Hendersonville (up in the mountains), visited Mt Pisgah area. It was basically a recon trip to see if we'd possibly live in that area. We loved it! Loved the mountains. The scenery the peacefulness. But man, reading some of these comments makes me second guess mountain living. I moved from Jamaica in 1990 so i lived through Category 5 hurricane Gilbert in 1988. Then lived through category 5 Andrew in 1992. Then experienced every other hurricane South Florida had seen since we moved to Georgia 3 months ago. Said all that to say, mountain or flat. These things can happen anywhere. Prayers for everyone impacted.
There is a fleet of private owned helicopters delivering supplies from Asheville Airport to surrounding areas and evac those that need/want to get out.
we just went to an emergency communication intro today. same day of you hurricane we had unusally high winds in Northern Idaho. power out in town. we out of town off grid doing our thing and feeling BLESSED
Hi! Was in Coeur d'Alene, Friday night at the 5th street market, when that strange nasty strom hit! It didn't last long, but was extremely wicked weather!
My brother works for Fletcher, and he had the same issue with the traffic from the bridge too. They are actively hindering efforts to clear trees and restore power. They are idiots. I live in Marshall, by the way. The entire town of Marshall is under water right now.
@kellymarie7175 Oh yeah, for sure. Our power clicked on yesterday and we didn't ha water for a day and a half because we have an electric pump well. We are fine and settled in, helping our family and friends who are still out of power and water - even food. Anyone comes up the roadway that looking for trouble will eat lead though 😂 I'm sure many are the same in the rural locations. But if a neighbor needs water we won't turn them away. That's the Christian thing to do.
My brother lives in Fletcher. I’ve received one text from him. I’m sure he’s busy helping others….I was raised in Fairview and live in eastern/coastal NC. I’m so heartbroken to see such devastation. 💔😢💔
Keeping an emergency box/ bag in your car/ or wherever you go 24/7. Bottles of water, p& b crackers/ ems type food/ freeze dried packets, a change of clothes, a blanket and a week's worth of your meds❤ My Daddy told me about this when I was a young girl ( except the medicine part). He grew up in North Dakota.
Yeah, we grew up with similar info. I doubt a lot of folks now don't know how to cook with dried beans, over a fire or at least small camping cookers with stocked propane.
Jasper, Alberta Canada, there were hundreds of vehicles stopped for an overnight because of a huge forest fire. The closest visitor's center to the west, with fuel pumps, restaurants, bathrooms and such DID NOT FEEL LIKE THEY NEEDED TO OPEN UP FOR CITIZENS...Unforgivable, for a National Park administration. That is how it will go..We will remember it for decades!...
We were raised and taught how to grow our own vegetables, preserve or freeze them for the winter. Also, store supplies in different places. Naturally we kept a huge supply in the cool basement, but Dad also had a smoke house and another small shelter further away from the house and the smokehouse where he’d store up for emergencies. When the ground froze, he’d store cabbages, and other vegetables in the ground. During harsh winters, I can fondly remember when Mom wanted to fix boiled cabbage or slaw with dinner, he’d go out and dig one up. If she wanted to fix a pot of beans, he’d go to his storage “hole in the ground” and pull out a bag of beans AND some wrapped streak-of-lean, also known as fat-back, for seasoning. He’d fire up the wood stove and Mom would have that house smelling like dinner all day. Pinto beans, corn bread cooked on a wood stove would fill us kids up after a fun day of playing in the snow. Many times, our house would be filled with a couple of families who were not able to get home because of inclement weather, mud slides, snow storms. We wouldn’t have power, but we had food, warmth, a stove and plenty of wood. We also had a well house that had a hand pump, for a few years, until we connected to the county system. That iron water tasted horrible until we couldn’t get water from the system. I’m so sorry. Your comment brought back so many memories growing up in Fairview, NC. I miss my mountains and am so heartbroken to see such destruction. Chimney Rock, most of Lake Lure….gone. I learned to drive on those hairpin curves on Hwy 74 from Fairview thru Bat Cave, Gerton, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock….now gone. Prayers and blessings to the residents in all of the areas, in all of the states, destroyed by Helene. Blessings to you all as well. 💔🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💔
How about watching and heeding the news when it warns you of a 26’ storm surge and 15” of rain? I know they all have cars to gas up beforehand. Grab you pics your valuables pets and coats and leave the area before it’s shut down. Warnings everywhere I saw them in Illinois m
i agree with all of that, but can’t get a week’s worth of meds without skipping some earlier, not workable. i know some places help with that, but not all.
Glad to hear you and Michelle are okay. Was worried about you guys, even though we've never met in person. Hope to meet you at a class or homestead meetup at some point--your channel has been hugely helpful to our homestead.
Hindsight is 20/20 been through Hugo and learned a lot we prepared got full tanks of gas, got all the cash out of our account, bought a weeks worth of water, washed all dirty clothing etc.. all this was done days before the hurricane!
I did the same thing, plus I can a lot of food every year for that reason and keep alert for hurricane 🌀 season. I work hard to have a productive garden every year. Guess who else do that in my entire community? No one else.
Thank you so much for sharing real news on what you are experiencing and observing there in and around Ashville NC. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family and to all affected by this devastation.
Thank you for your rational sentiments. Prayers for everyone involved. I have sent donations to a couple organiztions to bring needed supplies. I hope that "kind" people stay home, donate for those who need it and prepare for their families. Btw, just found your channel. Now a subscriber
I’m in Mills River and it looks like a war zone. Going on day 4 with no communication from my boyfriend in Yancy county. I have no idea if he is ok. I’m just sick.
Perma Pastures Farm interviewing Dane Wigington the Legend! I CAN NOT WAIT TO HEAR IT. Great Reporting and looking forward to the interview with an real American Hero.
I have friends in Asheville. They have no power and no water, but their street was not flooded, so they are luckier than others. The devastation is staggering. What an absolute nightmare.
Billy, Thanks for posting, and this was a devastating storm, lives lost, and massive property damage. There were some high pressure systems in place in the center and west parts of the country which kept this storm to the east sparing the middle of the country while concentrating the carnage here. People expect the government to take care of them. Everyone needs footage for their TikTok channel, Selfies and such. They do not care about anyone but themselves. Insurances cannot keep up with all these damages. FEMA will not assist Being prepared on our own is the only way. This includes finding ways to live for days, weeks, months without power at all. Basically, learning to live pre-electrification. No disrespect, but basically, old order Amish or Mennonite. They can teach us allot. Shalom Brother, May Yahshua guide and protect you.
There are ALWAYS high pressure systems in play which help steer tropical systems. Oddly enough though, this particular storms path was aided from and then ultimately absorbed by a LOW pressure system.
When we had Floyd devastate our area, eastern NC, people who lost their homes were allowed to live in FEMA trailers TEMPORARILY while their insurance was being sorted out, home rebuilt or they received a FEMA loan to rebuild. Many refused to move from the trailers because they felt like the govt should have provided them at no cost. FEMA had to force them out only to find that they had ruined the dwelling. We pay so much money in taxes, insurances….which is going to skyrocket because now, because the law/insurance companies will require many homes & businesses to carry flood insurance - which, I think is a separate policy here. I can’t remember if we also had another policy for wind/hail because we also lived in an area prone to tornadoes. When we lived in New Bern, we were lucky not have lost our home, but while we had homeowners insurance, we had to add separate insurance to cover flood damage. Again, I don’t remember if we had o add another policy for wind/hail. It can be very confusing. Many people did not understand that and thought that their regular homeowners insurance surely covered any cause for the loss of their home. It was so sad.
I am Subscribing for several reasons: I live in NC, in a small, urban city where you said soldiers should have been sent from to drop supplies to citizens in the local area. You mentioned Dane Wiggington. And lastly, you mentioned farming and permaculture. I do not have a farm but have a huge interest in permaculture and sustainable agriculture. I am very disturbed by what has happened up there. I almost cannot fathom it. Geoengineering would not be farfetched. Thank you for your video. I am pleased that you and your family are safe. I hope that others will have an easy time of rebuilding. Love and peace to all those who experienced this "event."
Glad you were finally able to make a video to let us know you are safe. Saw Asheville was torn up and was hoping that didn’t extend all the way to you. I’ve seen several channels in your area talking about the destruction and helping out. So much more is going to be needed.
Hi! You are definitely part of my Tribe. Stumbled on your video this morning. Vibes are matching. So happy you are safe. I'm 15 mins from Erwin, on the TN side. People gawking kill me. Just bought my first book, Perma for complete beginners. Sending love and peace to you and the fam.
Prayers for the families that lost loved ones. I am glad you are OK. The only thing I lost in Marion County Florida was about 40 hours of sleep. The animals were going crazy and most refused to go in their shelters. Help as many people as you can this week as it is looking like there will be an encore storm coming next week.
I was really concerned about you & your family…thank God you guys are ok…thankfully you didn’t lose part of your mountain…….i know you will help your neighbors
Some of you have complained about the you tubers. They brought this storm to light for the world to see. The big news stations were slow to bring anything, only politics. You will probably get more help from churches and regular people than FEMA will ever do.
Nice post. I believe all perspectives are valid. The visuals of such devastation offer information that words could not possibly express. Many of us documented what we were living through as the trees and structures came crashing down around us. It was surreal. I'm glad for those of us still here to tell of it, to help others process the wrath in our path. My heartfilled prayers go out to those who lost loved ones and lives. God bless y'all. I'm thankful to the man who brought us all together with this post. New subscriber here. Kingsport, Tennessee
"STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES." I so appreciate your message about emergency vehicles. I am retired LE and this is one of the most frustrating things about the job. People don't have and or use their commons sense anymore. JUST GET OUT OF THE WAY, FOLKS.
When I saw the devastation in NC y’all were the first people I thought of and hoping y’all were ok! And well I guess y’all are the only people I Know of in NC. Thank you for the update. My heart is broken in so many ways over these disasters🙏🏼
I live right below the main air space path to Asheville. Helicopters have been going non-stop since Sunday. Please do not be spreading fear, anger, and distrust in such a vulnerable time. People need help and they're getting it as fast as possible, anything else can wait.
My cousin’s daughter is in Hendersonville they are fine no power and no way out right now. Her grandparents were coming down from Coeburn, Va but had to turn back at in the tri cities in TN . Had to go back.
I realized when my parents divorced in the 1960s that it was up to me to survive. I learned to do home repairs, the guys at college taught me to work on cars, I worked at a full service gas station in the 1970s. I naturally became a prepper once I moved to the mountains in 1990. 2008 honed my skills and this year, we built a mini-homestead that I designed with backups for our backups. I'm creating a mini food forest and modest container gardens. I'm 71 and my husband is 80. That's our biggest liability.
Central NC. I work for UNC Health and they are asking us to volunteer to help staff the hospitals there. They are organizing hazard response teams to provide support and relief to those affected by this awful event. Stay safe and do what you can for your fellow North Carolinians.

Pray that the alt right don't get elected there. America's problems are a preview of what people are poised to vote in at like r different EU countries.
Thank you very much for your concern and prayers.
Get right with the Lord ...materials things rust and rot away
Keep the faith brother. Praying for you from central NC. We were spared here 🙏
Glad you’re Ok,,I’m sorry for you home damage
I’m thankful you and the Mrs. are ok Billy…we love you brother
Because if you’re like this guy and it doesn’t wash away you can take care of yourself and a few others.
We will never be able to match the power of God. The bible says it is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of a living God
Trust God. Be blessed.

True. How many remember Lahaina, Maui now or any disaster? The "news" is just a talk show.
Yeah I’d be outta there. I’m lower working class but I’d make it happen.
Heading up that way with our K9 Search and rescue team first of the week. Notified take all fuel and supplies with us. Help on the way!
God Bless you and stay safe

Dude 260 roads out. The military is flying in supplies. It will get sorted out but is such a wide spread devastation
We have 2.8 million Americans in military service.
Thank you. I was furious for him spreading that lie! 😡

One of our grandsons is a Duke power lineman ( lives in) Ashville . Been working around the clock.

Cashless society goes straight in the toilet with no electricity
Question? With cash what do you suppose that will happen with no electricity? Paper money becomes useless also…
@@TheKingjones8Ever here of a pencil and paper and some people actually still know how to make change. Generators still work too.
Electric cars don't do much either

Pull out the old Cash register or the cigar boxes used before computerized electric cash register with pencil & paper or solar one dollar calculators.😊
Florida law requires all gas stations to have generators for pumping gas. That eliminates a problem after a hurricane hits hard, until the tanks run dry.
Many arent working Water also gets into the tanks! and stations do collapse
I left Asheville yesterday afternoon, didn't find an open station for at least 100 miles...
Right? We live in GA and I'm being that isn't law here.
That sounds great, if the generators don't get destroyed or run out of gas or mile long lines. Be prepared anyway.
This is more than a power outage. Even with power, getting fuel to these places is impossible right now. Look at some of the footage on other channels and see the devastation. Those people aren't getting gas any time soon.
My prayers to all the people suffering from this terrible devastation. You have all my sympathy.
Same for me, hope help comes for you all ASAP.

Because these mountains are all rock there is nowhere for the water to soak in it just keeps on going and taking everything with it.

2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

GOD BLESS the people who are finally waking up!!! They've called me CRAZY, CONSPIRACY THEORIST ... PRAISE THE LORD❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
I was prepped for covid, barely was in a line...thanks to the late Pastor Stephen Darby,,who died maybe a year before covid
Thank you Perma Pasture, I truly appreciate everything you are saying, blessings to you and your family 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
People should document what happened.
its real life
So thankful y’all are safe and ALIVE. Thank you, Lord.
Thank you for keeping it real, sharing what's going on, and focusing on the community efforts that we need to get back to if we're going to make good things happen. I appreciate this video and your contribution to building a better tomorrow.
I appreciate that!
Thank you. We are. Have made contact with all my brothers and sisters and thankfully..they are safe.
I am praying for you from Texas. I wish was young and rich and could come and save every one of you.
Prayers for you. A disaster of this level our government isn't one our government can fix in 3 days, regardless of who is in office.
Stop being so dramatic. I live in Fairview and it's not the end of the world.
The powers that be have the ability to destroy any place they want with some kind of "natural disaster".
Good to see you ok.
A lot of people are not ready for the grid to go down and have No food or water. This is why we do it.
There is a fleet of private owned helicopters delivering supplies from Asheville Airport to surrounding areas and evac those that need/want to get out.
Praying for y’all!! Thank you for the update!!
Thank you so much!
My heart is breaking for all those in this dire situation. Prayers going up!
we just went to an emergency communication intro today. same day of you hurricane we had unusally high winds in Northern Idaho. power out in town. we out of town off grid doing our thing and feeling BLESSED
It’s going to be a land grab after this. Stay strong
@kellymarie7175 Oh yeah, for sure. Our power clicked on yesterday and we didn't ha water for a day and a half because we have an electric pump well. We are fine and settled in, helping our family and friends who are still out of power and water - even food. Anyone comes up the roadway that looking for trouble will eat lead though 😂
I'm sure many are the same in the rural locations.
Thank you for your common sense and your caring. I’m from So Calif and I’ve just subscribed. Prayers to Asheville and all those suffering 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
Thank you so much, my friend!
Prayers for you and the family...all praises that God covered all of you!
So glad you are OK
Yep. Prayers to many and others not in the land grab, put your tin foil hat on. This shit is for real.
Thank God, you guys are okay! Prayers for everyone in the area!
Billy,
Thanks for posting, and this was a devastating storm, lives lost, and massive property damage.
FEMA will not assist
Being prepared on our own is the only way.
This includes finding ways to live for days, weeks, months without power at all.
Basically, learning to live pre-electrification.
No disrespect, but basically, old order Amish or Mennonite. They can teach us allot.
Shalom Brother, May Yahshua guide and protect you.
Absolutely agree with you on that.
Hope all you like, but rebuilding is NEVER easy.
Watch Fallen Angels play this Haarp
@@soliel8999 Clever. I understand. Thank you.
Counter the effects with your own key note sound and vibration.
Glad you were finally able to make a video to let us know you are safe. Saw Asheville was torn up and was hoping that didn’t extend all the way to you. I’ve seen several channels in your area talking about the destruction and helping out. So much more is going to be needed.
Hoping for a check in again soon! We’re praying for y’all!
Thankful that y'all are alright, Billy and Michelle. Stay safe. Thought of you when I saw Ashville underwater.
Praying for all who was affected by the storm.🙏🙏🙏🙏
You cover some great points in this video! So many people are oblivious and unaware of how their actions affect others.
This country is and has lost its humanity 💔Thanks Billy for using your voice🙌🏼❣️❣️❣️❣️
Glad y’all are good, Billy & Michelle
Thank you for this video. Praying for everyone ❤️
Such a trajedy. Such a beautiful area. I visited the Cherokee reservation a few years back. Prayers for everyone!
Instructive report from a good man. A good Christian man. The devastation to that region defies imagination.
"STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES." I so appreciate your message about emergency vehicles. I am retired LE and this is one of the most frustrating things about the job. People don't have and or use their commons sense anymore. JUST GET OUT OF THE WAY, FOLKS.
Stupidity is the real pandemic.
When I saw the devastation in NC y’all were the first people I thought of and hoping y’all were ok! And well I guess y’all are the only people I Know of in NC. Thank you for the update. My heart is broken in so many ways over these disasters🙏🏼
It’s definitely a mess. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers!
May condolences from friends ease the hearts of the grieving.
God bless those lineman!!
Thank you for doing the selfless work, my friend!
So true, sad times we are living in, what happened to humanity?? Prayers for all of those affected, this is truly heartbreaking.
