The trees look so majestic in their clothing of snow. Lovely to see your happy wee family again as you deal with your first permanent snow fall this winter. This is one channel where you're always guaranteed a a good chuckle at something highly amusing. Not sure how you do it guys but it's always a pleasure to watch your videos. Thankyou and until nexttime. Be happy , be blessed and stay safe and warm. 🇦🇺🤗💞🙏👍👌✌️👏✝️🇺🇸
A tractor would help. I know it takes time to save up for one though. Lilliana is so helpfull. She adjusted to homesteading very well. Seems that she’s not afraid to jump in and eagerly learn and help with whatever you have going on. Such a blessing to her parents. I do hope there are other kids around that she gets to hang around with sometimes. A snow mobile with a plastic sled attached might help to keep up with some of the snow maintenance for the paths to the animals and well, plus you’d be having fun at the same time. Everything takes money though. Your family just powers through nicely. I hope winter is not going to be to hard on Richards arm. Harder to let it heal when there’s so much work that has to be done. It still amazes me how the three of you built your house in one summer. You’ve made amazing progress in such a short period. I hope you have a Great week and Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing this glimpse into what you do daily or at least at every snow event. Not for the faint of heart! Fun to watch the first exposure to the ‘white stuff’ for the goats.
I just bought this game changer heater you all could use one and they are inexpensive. look up Kinetic Molecular heater. It is usb or solar charged and last for up to a month. Keeps everything defrosted in cars or homes or buildings.
Hello Richard and Aimee wow you have lots of snow over 12 inches of that white stuff I just g mailed Chrystal from flat tire farm to see how much snow they have all the channels I watch in Alaska they all had lots of snow be safe out there have a good weekend and week here from Ontario Canada ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦😎 p.s. we don’t have any snow I am in jeans and a t shirt
You live in Alaska & missed the snow depth by half a foot? Cmon ! If it was 3 ft deep I could see being off a bit... But when its 11" & you're off by more than half a foot ! Kidding .... Not kidding !
The first snowstorm of the season on an off-grid homestead must be such a mix of beauty and challenge! ❄🏔 Watching the landscape transform into a winter wonderland while relying on self-sufficiency is both inspiring and impressive. Hope you’re staying cozy and prepared for all that snowy beauty! 🌬🔥

If you give those chickens 16 to 18 hours of light per day they will give you all the eggs you want and then some
We still have a couple weeks till snow here in North Idaho, but it’s coming quick. It feels like it always gets here before we are ready for it.
We got about 12 inches a couple weeks ago here in Fairbanks
