    Great job on the weight loss John. I've lost 60 lbs since October on the high Protein low sugar diet and those bars were essential to the process. Keep up the great work and I cant wait to see how this table comes out.

    I want to meet the person with the cojones to market cottonwood slabs (even a crazy burl) for $50/bf. Now, I get it, that’s a crazy figured piece. And those don’t obey normal lumber pricing models at all. But, I still can’t wrap my head around any cottonwood, and especially one potato chipped like that, being worth that kind of money. If I was the slab seller I’d feel like $500 would be borderline ripping off the buyer.
    But hey, it’s a free market. Anything is worth whatever a willing buyer and seller can agree upon. So long as the client is happy at the end of the day that’s all that really matters. And my comment on a UA-cam video is worth exactly what you paid for it.

    • @andrewupson2987
      @andrewupson2987 2 роки тому

      I saw that. It would be stupid expensive to get that done. Only reason he did so was the company wanted to try out dry ice blasting a slab, and then I think they saw another project and offered the service for free to get their name out there a bit more. Cam says in the video (first one) that he’d never pay what they charge for it, and he can sell his tables for $10-30k.

    One bars are OK, but they have more carbohydrates than SOME others, AND every damned last one of them has about the same consistancy. That's great for a pie, but it sucks for something that is supposed to taste like a muffin. Try the Quest bars. They have lower carbs AND there are many different consistancies and textures. And no, I do not work for Quest, nor do I get anything out fo them, but I have been on many, many diets of the years and (at least for me) they work.
