Amazing mod, where did you get the info display on the front of the case ? Really interested in getting one myself !
Ebay, there really cheap for only around $15 bucks ;)
There's a cooler one from amazon around $33 bucks, here's a link,

Definitely turning my optiplex into something similar
I like how his name is Fast Pc 😂😂😂😂
Where did u plug in the molex cable? To power the front display
The front temp digital is powered by the power supply unit
Tienes el link de compra del ventilador del cooler?? Me interesa mucho bro

so cringe yet so cool
I think you should add the i7-4790 to make it even better.
i would have but i sold it ;)
Johnny OnTheSpot Darn, I have a i7-4790 in my Optiplex 9020
Johnny OnTheSpot also how did you get the side panel?
@@mindofdelta4826 i made it
All in all the case looks nice,
Personally think the cable management needs cleaning up and the zotac needs to go. Satern of gpus...
But like the case as a whole.
Did you need longer screws to mount the cpu cooler to the Optiplex motherboard? Just picked up a 9020 MT that I need a cpu cooler for and am trying to find compatible models of coolers
No, get the CPU cooler I got from eBay you'll see it it looks just like it on eBay it fits perfectly, I think it's selling for $16.99
hey man, are you happy with this optiplex build? if so, what kind of games do you play on it?
How did you connect the cpu cooler to the motherboard?
And how does it connect with the backplate of the cooler?
You connect it the same way you do the way the current CPU fan is on.
There's no back plate I just screwed it on and plugged it in that's it.
Don't forget the thermal paste. 😉👍
Johnny OnTheSpot is it got a conector for the optiplex board??
You can change the CPU Cooler of the 9020 MT?, Could a Cooler Master Hyper 212 work for it?
As long as it fits, i think it might be to big tho but i'm not sure but if it is you most likely can make the minor modifications to make it fit.
How did u connect it on the oplitex cause I bought the same cooler and it doesn’t have the same connectors
What model optiplex do you have?
If it didn't fit I'm assuming you need a 4 or 3 to 5 pin adapter plug.
@@johnnygallardo76 yes I have a 7020
hello johnny I have an optiplex 380 MT and want to install a xeon x5450 plus rx 580 or gtx 1050 will there be any compatibility issues involved ..thanks
yes you have to flash the MB with modded files and use a xeon 5470 its better and use a Zotac 1050ti because its the only one that will fit. check out this link,
forums.tomshardware.com/threads/optiplex-380-gaming-computer-is-it-possible.3323715/?view=date
I'm MrDreamerz talking with william p , it's when i did it successfully for the first time.
Just be careful when flashing the MB because you could brick it if you don't do it right.
Cómo cambiaste el fan del cooler?? Cual compraste??

darkFlash Shadow RGB CPU Cooler
IS THAT CPU COOLER GOOD MY CPU GETS REALLY HOT WHILE PLAYING GAMES I HAVE A DELL OPTIPLEX 9010 WITH GTX 1650 IS AN MT
I have since sold it but when I had it it seemed to cool it fine but I never played any intense graphical games on it either.
It's pretty cheap I'd give it a shot test your temperatures then go from there.
@@johnnygallardo76 ok thx because with the stock cpu cooler it reaches 90c playing graphical demanding games like gta 5
@@Jamal01223 sounds like a thermal paste issue
@@B1esssdHandz do u think it is that or is it because I live in Florida and also what thermal paste do u recommend me
@@Jamal01223 If u live in a hot area it could def affect your temps but I'll recommend some ARCTIC MX-4 you can find it at amazon.
Dose the led cooler work from just plugging it in or do you have to get an adapter or what
Just plugged it in if I remember correctly
@STAILLION where the previous cooler was plugged in you might need an adapter you can get one eBay or Amazon.
Can you tell me how you made the custom side panel?
I cut it out with a jigsaw then cut a piece of plexiglass used 3M double-sided tape to stick it on and bought some rubber trim online to put over the place where I cut to make it look nice.
Johnny OnTheSpot Nice! That could be a cool project I could do sometime in the future!
Will the cpu cooler work in an 9020 SFF?
Not sure, i'd say yes as long as the door can close so that the cpu cooler is not sticking out to far.
Google measurements of that model and then look up the ones of the cpu as well.
What’s the size on the fan?
