    This video is amazing!!! Not only the setting, horses and people, but the videography and editing are stupendous! WELL DONE!!!! The fading in and out of nature sounds, animal sounds and human interactions over and within the musical score is impressive! Talent....sheer talent!

    Belinda TN I doubt there was a gaited horse in the bunch....never once seen any horse there do any type of gait. I rode and packed our Missouri Foxtrotters through the Cascade mountains of Washington for 30 years, same kind of riding and scenery, so I know what I'm talking about..Probably quarter horses and paints. or what ever...

    • @BelindaTN
      @BelindaTN 9 років тому +1

      Well if they were paints and quarter horses, they had a nice flat foot and running walk gait coming up that hill there toward the end. I have no experience with foxtrotters, but I have plenty with Spotted Saddle Horses and TN Walking horses. Both trail riding and watching them in the show ring. I know what a gaited horse gait is. Even at slower walks, they walk different from QH.

    • @wyominghorseman9172
      @wyominghorseman9172 9 років тому

      Wilbur Finnigan No gaited horses here I can see. These folks are outfitters and I've not seen many outfitters with gaited horses. In fact only one and he took his clients in and out of their hunting area each day on a migration (late season) hunt from the ranch headquarters. The country where he hunted was snow covered and timbered but mild so he could get some speed up when needed. Days are short in December.

    I didn’t care much about the outdoors not too long ago. But then I got red dead redemption 2 and the scenery was so beautiful that it because hard for me to imagine that the world looked that, seeing that I’m San Diego, all I know is concrete building and not so much wilderness. But that game opened my eyes as to how beautiful the world is. I really hope to travel over the summer to more remote areas, it made realize how sick I am of the city

Can't wait to take the first pack trip of the season. The Horses and dogs love to go too. You have to be on guard for wolves now though. I've had my horses blown off picket before. Pretty damned irritating! They'll kill your dogs in a flash too. Keep em close!

    These horse look like TN Walking Horses and/or Spotted Saddle Horses. If so, this kind of riding is exactly what they are bred for and excel at. I live in the heart of TN Walking Horse and Spotted Saddle horse country. They are the chosen horses for trail rides, especially hills and mountains. As are a few other gaited horse breeds. Such as Rocky and Kentucky Mountain horses and Missouri Fox Trotters.
