Have you talked about the Fender Blender before on the channel?
Daaaamn! How could we bee happier?
Was not expecting this! Unbeeliavable tones and vibes guys! Really appreciate all the love!
Much love to all of you and Sweetwater ❤️
Hell, I wanted to win that Swarm so bad, had me Buzzzzzzzzzzin!
Want to know the buzz about Sweetwater? They have the internet's best customer service when it comes to instrument and effect distribution. Most of us have our own assigned Sweetwater guy. My Sweetwater guy's name is Brandon. What's your guy's name?
@@badguacamole3709 I am Canadian, my imaginary guy is, Doug! #NAFO
@@H82BUagain lol. Tell Doug I said hi.
@@badguacamole3709 Will do my guy, I am sure he'll be stoked to know you're thinking of him!
The rhythm section is killing it on the bizzy bee fuzz jam.
I’m blown away by that Beetronics jam, that was insanely good.
Your jams always sound amazing, so that just adds to what I’m about to say… Your first jam here was probably your best jam ever! The bass really took you guys places!
Agreed
Yup, it was epic!
Hit that right on the head
Was going to say this - loved that first jam.
It was brilliant!
That first jam transcended this show. It was just the piece I needed to get inspired. Thank you
I hate to admit it, but the right pedal can inspire. I’ve even written new material because of a pedal. It happens !
If you liked that kind of harmonic shifts, check out "KAIRON; IRSE!". A band from finland. They have these intricate and unusuall harmonic plot twists.
That Beetronics inspired the most epic jam I’ve seen you guys play - really nice!
I think the RE-202 is one of the best pedal designs in recent memory. They got everything right: the '70s-style enclosure, the Space Echo styling, the sound, the features, etc. The only reason I don't personally own one is because I have enough delay pedals (for now).
JHS should do some stickers for their 3 series pedals, for folks who have a bunch of them
Epic episode! The smile when playing with the swarm, the time taken and advice given for poison noises being returned is just freakin awesome.
This is a beautiful example how a great pedal inspires - you all just lit up with the crazy buzz machine!!! Great moment ... ❤️
Today's jams were amazing. The second one needs to be in an album. Put that album out!!!
JHS show needs a bandcamp page.
Love the Space Echo. Thanks for the demos!
Space echo Tape echo has been my favourite effect for so long, I just love its movement, character , flutter, WOW!!! it’s probably because I’m a space cadet!!! The RE202 is the BOSS of Space/Tape Echo!!!!
The Hive is open with the Beetronics ‘Swarm’ great sound fuzz and actually a new style sounding effect not cloned off so many earlier pedal circuits than have been done before. The Swarm is stinging the people and sounds like sweet honey, Buzzing!! Great sounding pedal!!!
Another excellent JHS SHOW episode.
Love. This. Show. Keep truckin’ guys. Your message is reaching us, even here in Darkest Africa. Big love.
Awesome show! I need Addison to do a deep dive on that bass tone. I know what gear he has in the chain, but I’d love to see a full rundown of settings and whatnot. That tone is just killer.
Holy Crap! That Bass sounded phenomenal. Great Jams and playing from all parties. Really loved this episode.
I love seeing you guys discover the PLL fuzz fx. There are a lot of cool ones...would make a great pedal history episode. From Schumann, EQD, Mtl.asm, and now Beetronics. It's my all time favorite fuzz ❤
To hear the gear in a jam is so wholesome.. thank you for that
Coming back to this video makes me realize how much I miss this trio doing lives together.. and of course Joshua. Addison is missed
I'm here for the pretty pedals and the juicy jams. Everytime you guys jam it just blows my mind
Missed the live while a plumber was fixing my hot water heater and going to the BMV three times, watching this later in the day made my life better. Thanks JHS! The jams were really really good. Made me miss my old band!
BMV three times ? That’s like being forced to listen to Yoko Ono, continuously, for 24 hours.
Addison and Nick…rhythm section extraordinaire!!!
I love it when you guys jam. Awesome 😎
This was the most musical I have heard the Beetronics Swarm to date! Great jam!
Josh is killing it....years of absorbing music found its expression on these jams...clearly evident to me IMHO 👍👏
I ordered a Space Echo back in April and have been told that I may not get it until January 2023 due to a shortage in parts. Now that's what I call a long delay! So looking forward to getting it though. In the meantime, I've got a Nu-X Tape Core which is also based on the Roland Space Echo, and it's an excellent pedal for the price.
Never been a boss fan, but that Space Delay was a blast. Makes me wish I worked somewhere with people with musical talent of any sort.
I’ve been there. It’s not what you think it is. Josh appears to be atypical of the “everyone’s a musical genius” crowd. Stay humble !
Now everyone will want a Swarm for Christmas. Fantastic jams today guys.
Fantastic jams today guys!
The first jam was dope af! I'd listen the hell out of a compilation of all the demo snippets. Bussin no cap fr fr.
When he played the Beetronic pedal he had that Matt Pinfield headbangers ball look in his eyes. 👀
I purchased the swarm a few month's ago, I was able to get some good weird tones for a few of my songs. Similar to my Mxr Blue box. Fun stuff, I was lucky to sell it pretty much what I paid for it a few months later.
First jam was amazing. One of your best.
The Swarm makes every jam sound like a Muse or Radiohead song is about to breakout.
Deeply love my 202❤ Not so much my Swarm, but it’s still fun. 😊
Demo all seventeen. Josh you know you want too. PS Thanks for the Monday deep dives and thoughtful insights. I can never watch live but I do watch.
"I don't know what I'd use it for but I want one!"
- every Data Corrupter owner
That jam at 10:30 reminded me of old Boxer Rebellion before they no longer existed as a band. Really neat.
What an Awesome first jam! ❤👍
Killer jam with the Swarm 🤘
Oh and beetronics easily has the best pcbs in the business!!! No one is making art out of circuitry like they do
does that sound better? lol
@@olifilipe No, but it gives you the feeling of owning something incredibly special that was very meticulously crafted.
@@Doomchild2XL EXACTLY!! I opened mine up and was like wow no one is doing this kind of stuff visually in addition to sonically!
Would love the space echo as I would pair it with my carbon copy for maximum toneage. Love this channel! Lindsay Buckingham used it brilliantly on the Fleetwood Mac tours from late 70s to Mirage tour
I just bought the Harmonic Trem pedal. And for the price, the sound and quality is amazing!
The Beetronics SWARM is a hive full of furious fuzz to buzz! Much of it is uncontrollable, but some of it is a unBEElievable genius!
10:30 The Edge and 1982 are calling and want their delay pedal back! Awesome jam!
Big "WOW" to Poison Noises! 😮Awesome! 😊
Awesome playing.
Had the original way back when. Nothing like it. It was more road durable than people made it out to be. Azimuth adjustment, capstan and head cleaning had a big impact on tone. It was the Mellotron of delays. Didn’t have all the gizmos the modern ones I have now do, but back then it was so unique. Still is.
I had a Swarm. If it had a expression input, it would be much better. I now have the Zzombie. It's Amazing! Love Beetronics!!
I think sometimes Nick unconsciously mimics the slow paced laidback dudezy speech pattern of Josh, after all those years working alongside him and hanging with him 😄👍. But man Nick is like a piezoelectric precision time keeping machine but with the feels, such a good drummer 🥁.
I like the cozy style of this show and these dudes. Even when the video runs in the background its like my buddies from university are at my home again 20 something years later and schmoozing and hanging around 😊👍.
Btw got my first JHS pedal today PG-14 can't wait to try facemelting mids and to punish those MOSFETs 😂👍. Thanks guys 👋
That first jam was really good!
These are good things that you do JHS team. 👏
Awesome show!
Space Echo jam was legit awesome
The last jam sounded great!
*Strong* Echo & The Bunnymen vibe on that 1st jam, for sure!!
I definitely want to see that Boss 20 series video. I want to see it yesterday. GET ON IT!!!
The Beetronics reminds me of the EQD Data Corruptor, a whacked-out fuzz harmonizer machine! That jam was sick!
That’s exactly what I thought. Sounds a lot like the Data Corruptor! Really cool
It's a PLL, they both do that.... its an older circuit...
Haha that was a great jam with the space echo!
One of my fav pedals!! Use to have the older re.. been waiting for this new space echo!! Just can’t afford it..
Love the both jams, I'd go see both bands :D ... Great bass tone, usual gets lost in the mix, much improved.. love it!
You have to put the BEETRONICS Jam to a record ... I will buy it! Great Performance from all of you guys ... Sorry for the english, greetings from germany.
Man, that Beetronics jam was lit and on fleek no cap.
The Swarm is almost as out there as the Lollygagger Cherry Box, a Fuzz I still covet long after it's release.Of the two, I'd say the Swarm is more immediately useable , while the CB gets into funkier and broader territory.
It's cool that Beetronics keeps it reasonably affordable; currently digging the Veszpa.
Like what you do.
You’re getting crystallized.
16:00 Thanks so much!
A great episode. I'm all smiles and seeking one of those beetronix. I'm on a fuzz quest and that should be a long my journey
At the 29 minute mark, Nick is the best drummer on the internetz. Seriously, Nick, you sound like you're playing on the first Neu! album.
When I first heard the Swarm plugged in I heard EQD Data Corrupter going on. I like it.
Rhett Shull, that horrible slide player,(sick burn), demo'd the Swarm about a year ago. His opening song, his best, IMO, IMPRESSED ME SO MUCH, I was on the phone with Sweetwater, ordering the Swarm! I absolutely love it! It's definitely a pedal you have to play to. Andy on Reverb does an awesome job of breaking down what every knob does. Just the fuzz circuit alone is a sick sounding Big Muff. You can place it anywhere in the chain! Thanks Josh for giving it a whirl. It's not an easy Pedal to master, but the tones/sounds, are infinite!
Get on with your bad self josh!
I'm not worthy,
Guitar Dave 🎸 ✝️💯🤘🏼
That last jam was EPIC man
Those jams are very satisfying.
Bass was awsome. Josh.. you were awsome. Drums was motivated. What’s not to like. California luvs subway.
28:53 Hey Josh, that was pitched so high the dogs in my neighbourhood howled! 😂
great drum and Bass lines
Man, Addison's bass sounds so good.
awesome episode
That was an amazing jam!
That RE-202 jam was incredible. I definitely suspect you rehearsed that lol. I just bought a RE-2 off reverb - super excited!
Re-2 is nice?
Killer episode!
3:20. I like that feeling.
Omg now I want a Poison Noises pedal just because they're cool
My RE-20 is the always on pedal on my board. I just wish the RE-202 wasn't so expensive. After getting a Volante, I can't justify the cost.
The Beetronic jam was amazing.
Love it!
The jams today were on point 🥵
All right. Y’all need to break down this bass tone.
that jam was really good boys
The beetronix pedal reminds me of the mooer lofi, I've always tried to use the lofi as a fuzz like drive with droney sounds from the bit or sample rates but it has always left me wanting more and I guess I've found it
That space echo jam made me restart the video to hear it again 😃
You guys should do a weekly show of just jamming using JHS stuff nothing but rocking out.
Killer jams!
🎶 I know, it's only fuzz control, but I like it! 🎶
man that swarm fuzz beat you guys did was like surf music out here in California
so Josh did not in fact hate the pedals? i love the wind down that the worker bee does when you let notes trail. super dope machine.
Beetronics pedal sounds just like a theremin guitar pedal, it's a fuzz with a "theremin" sound than you can blend in, 2 knobs and 1 switch, i got one build for me by a great pedal builder, thanks Keiran! (K's cave)
Holy moly that bass tone
The JHS Show and Ryan’s Toy Review live in the same cinematic universe
The Swarm's crazy sounds remind me fondly of the PLL, from what little I saw.
Killer pedal demo for the Boss RE-202. Jam was very U2’ish. Have you ever done a demo on the unique Korg SDD-3000 pedal co-developed by U2’s The Edge? Would love to see that with the attenuator switch functions and modulated delay tones.
Finally ✨✨✨ the Re 202 with the NEW update
