If the third part is as good as Rebirth was, the trilogy will be my favourite RPG experience ever. The way they fleshed out the 'optional' characters and expanded the lore was insane.

I'm with you on this. I mean it all depends on how they stick the landing here, but so far the FFVII trilogy is on pace to be even better than the original by a good margin. I find it hard to go back now because the OG game feels so barren and empty of story and world building. It will still always be one of the best games of all time, but its being surpassed by its own recreation and that rarely ever happens.

Developers should make sure to include the 1v1 slapping match between Tifa and Scarlet 😂
My theory is that it's probably gonna go down between Yuffie and Scarlet this time around, because they've been giving Yuffie reason to beef with Scarlet since the remake DLC.
I think there's gonna be a slap scenario, they added two random NPC woman slapping one another in the face in Kalm.
I bet it's gonna be a mini-game.

I almost guarantee you that there will be some kind of side quest with yuffie in wutai where you have to help out a da chao bean farmer
It'll be similar to the mushroom minigame in Gongaga where we have to pick the da chao beans that are the hardest in the stalk or something. Lmao
Speaking of Yuffie I don’t see her swiping our Materia this time unless she is either pressured too or desperate to help Wutai.
They can also throw in a heart breaking moment where sonnon fiancé/ gf asks Yuffie about where he is.

@@marcussanchez6005 really? I think they will play it out quite similar. Yuffie may hear of the war breaking out, panic, steal all the materia and head for home which is why the party has to go to wutai . Or they could already be on the continent when she feels the need to steal the materia.
You could be right though, they seemed to make changes to cait sith, probably to avoid newcomers hating him like most OG fans do, so maybe they will do the same for yuffie. As lots of people still seem to not have forgiven her from the OG game
2027 is the 30th anniversary of the OG FF7. No better time to release part 3 IMO. The real icing on the cake is if part 3 releases on Jan 31 2027, that would be exactly 30 years from the release of the OG on Jan 31 1997.
I agree! This would be perfect. Hopefully, part 3 releases on the PS5, I honestly don't see any reason why the PS5 couldn't handle it, and I'd hate to buy a new system for each game in the trilogy.

@@jackstadler7065it is 100% defo coming to PS5, it’ll be probably around the final years of the consoles legitimacy, but absolutely no way to only release on PS6 or whatever, even if a PS6 gets announced until then.
Much like how remake got released around the same final year of PS4, part 3 is most definitely receiving the same treatment.

Considering that in the original the soldiers you found on board the sub seemed to recognize you from the parade, I won't be too surprised if the 7th legion ends up as your submarine crew in the third part of the trilogy.

If anything is clear after Rebirth it's that SE is willing to throw All The Money at this project so I fully expect Part 3 to be even bigger & longer than Rebirth.
Just hope FF7 Rebirth sells really well, so they continue to make next game with passion and don't drop on the budget.

i just want aerith to be alive in some other timeline, we already lost our aerith and the one from zacks timeline. but if there is an alternate one somewhere out there id be satisfied with that.
I afraid they don't. Rebirth sales are weak. I bought Deluxe + normal version just to support the project but there are still so many idiots claiming that it is a cash grab and 1 game split in 3 games. In fact Rebirth has more content than original. 103 hours Chapter 12 feeling amazing about the game. OG had 40-90 depending how you play. I just hope they can keep doing the same and add all regions and islands OG had + I'd liek to see first sex scene in FF history in Witcher 3 style but that is not that important. Gameplay is so near perfection so adding more shit could spoil it so I'd prefer most mechanics to be unchanged.
It kind of makes sense to me now that Cid's back story and Rocket Town might be held off for the third part, because during those parts of the game Cid did get put into a leadership role while Cloud and Tifa were in Mideel, and them revealing Cid's past as the head of an astronaut program could be a good explanation as to how he got the skills of a leader.
Not to mention that same rocket, Shinra No. 26, was shown as a model in Crisis Core Reunion.
As for the Highwind, yeah I wanted to see more of the Tiny Bronco interior ,but I really hope the Highwind ends up being as much of a mobile base as it was in the original, I love having an airship with an interior to poke around in.
The Highwind will be FF7 version of Mass effects Normandy, I'm calling it now.
I doubt the Buggy and Tiny Bronco can make it to the 3th game. Steal the Highwing probably will be one of the first things to do in the third game. There is a whole game that needs to be done for a team at level 1 again.
When I finished Rebirth, I didn't mess around. I played it as god intended and finished the story when i reached 100 hours. Making sure all quests and region options were completed. If people played it right, everything flowed beautifully and perfectly. Been playing RPGs since the 80s. Probably the best well designed RPG in the last decade.

They see how dirty Shinra is and how much cloud has helped them. Wouldnt surprise me if they help sneak your party onto the highwind to take it over.

I am 100% ok with there not being chocobo breeding. I prefer the way it was dealt with in Rebirth. The game is already massive, I dont want to spend dozens of hours breeding chocobos as well.

I bet you'll be able to fly the Highwind over the entire map and jump out and skydive at any point you wish. That would be massive with the to-scale map.
Potentially placing you in predetermined start positions within areas of each region depending on story sensitive beats. Or just time-sensitive barriers of regions due to clouds/wind (like the water current barriers in Rebirth).
They might keep the towers in regions and use those as docks for the Highwind

Another region - Northwood, as a proper region. Includes a fully explorable City Of The Ancients, Sleeping Forest, Bone Village, and the ruins of the Temple Of The Ancients. I also think that the northern crater should be it's own region, separate from the icicle region. And maybe Midgar itself could be it's own region. So, we have - Midgar, Grasslands, Junon, Corel, Gongaga, Cosmo Canyon, Nibel, Northwood, Rocket Town, Wutai, Glacier, Crater, and Mideel. 13 regions. Plus 3 more in Ocean surface, Underwater, and the sky. Plus Space in a single chapter
I just hope that the World Intel you explore in Rebirth is transferrable. I shudder to think about having to do the Intel for EVERY region again in Part 3.
I am really excited to see how they alter the existing playable spaces from remake and rebirth in the next one.

IF Round Island is still in the series, I could see them expanding that too, like maybe you find an old castle with a huge round table in it and several statues of knights in a circle ,and you end up needing to prove your worth to claim the materia.
Yeah there is no way its going to be a simple land, collect materia and leave situation. There will definitely be a massive undergrown labyrinth castle to explore with one or two superbosses in waiting.
Im betting on it being story based. Kind of like omnislash. It's too OP for it to be a summon materia I think

I think they're gonna do what they did with the protorelics in Rebirth. Each new relic and quest being a trial of one of the Knights of the Round, with the final battle against the leader at Round Island.
Looking forward to Zack, Aerith and the Avalanche crew split screen yelling "Do it, Cloud!" in unison as he omnislashes Sephirotn with the spirit bomb lifestream sword as the ultra instinct music blades in the background.

I hope Cloud gets more prominent personality shift after his "awakening" moment in Part 3. Just like with Red XIII's shift, it might've already happened in the original game but it wasn't so obvious to me due to the PS1 localization

I would love it, if after the release of part 3, they would release one MASSIVE compilation of all 3 games compiled into 1 that flows continuously as the original did. Call it Final Fantasy VII Remastered. No level caps, no item or materia losses, just a continuous flow in a massive master box. Can you imagine what a collectors edition of this could look like?

I am genuinely tempted to get a ps5 just to get both games cause they actually look like a ton of fun (at least from all the cutscenes I have seen). However, I also want to wait and see if something like that comes along cause I would buy it all at once!

@@hunterbowden7333 I bought a PS5 a few weeks ago just to play Rebirth - and I do not regret it! 😂 It's an amazing game that is giving me exactly the gaming experience I had been craving. But I am also an old Final Fantasy head and life long lover of FF7. The nostalgia goosebumps are real.
Final Fantasy 7 for Ps1 was my first RPG. The game that hooked me on the genre. Upset that the PS3 used it as a tech demo and not a game reveal. Finally 4 generations after the original i can relive my favorite childhood game.
When cloud regains himself in pt3 it will be more epic then everyone is anticipating.

@@MK-fm3ln Exactly. From what rebirth told us. I think their making that the biggest moment of the games trilogy. Aerith told us that when she said “this isn’t about me tho, this is about saving the world and you.” Their setting up that moment to big bigger then the original games version.

That will not be left out. One of the creators can’t remember which one said that is the most important scene. So yeah it’s definitely gonna happen. This is what I see happening, if the company was already in development of part, three of when the announcement of rebirth came, and that most of their landscape was already done, etc. this means that they’re focusing on the mechanics and cut scenes. My guess of the release date at the very earliest would be 2026. Now if we want think on what I’m thinking either late 2027 to early 2028. That’s what I’m thinking. And don’t forget they’re going to be adding more than the original story because of the timelines, there’s gonna be more going on than what we think. Part three is definitely going to be bigger than rebirth. And it wouldn’t surprise me if they expand Midgar in part three.
I cant wait to see how vincent plays, what zacks gonna do, how sephiroth combined all the timelines, how aerith will come back to life cause she's technically still alive in some timelines, wutai, rocket Town, the weapons, the hojo battle, and more.
Aerith will still die in every timeline unless there's one that prevent sephiroth from getting black materia or summoning meteor

@@raymond9290the game introduced “multiple worlds and timelines” when cloud blocks it, sephiroth pauses for a moment then the static happens and he grins as blood appears on his sword that is no longer in his hands and stuck in the ground where it landed after cloud flung it away. There’s also the entire subplot of Marlene TELLLING zack aerith is in danger from a man with long hair and cloud needs to be fixed to “save her” as well as zack calling out “save her” to cloud. Cloud seems to be able to see overlapping worlds because he can see aerith & the ripped open sky of the dying world zack is in. I wouldn’t be surprised if the sephiroth we have been dealing with is the one from the original game/ advent children world trying to merge all worlds and win after losing originally and this whole remake trilogy is technically a sequel to the original. There’s no reason to establish multi-dimensional worlds and concepts if you don’t intend to use them

Yes, I want Chocobo breeding in part 3. I want to name and raise my own birds. I've wanted to ever since playing FF15. Once I got chocobos there I never let the rental meter expire. Those birds were forever with me. I want that in part 3 here.
I'm happy that they fleshed out smaller towns like Gongaga. It makes sense that they dit that since in the Og Zack wasn't such a well known character nor fleshed out outside of a few mentions and flashbacks. Now he's fully fleshed out as his own character and people wanted Gongaga to reflect that.

@@ronaldovaldez7841Nah, it might release around the same time or year PS6 gets released, but it will definitely have a PS5 version. They Probably compile all parts of the remake trilogy into one and then release that on PS6. This was the same case with remake, came at the end of PS4, rebirth the midd stages of PS5, and part 3 at the end stages.
Can’t wait for part 3! We get wutai and yuffie content as well as cid’s back story and more Vincent lore. We get cloud finding himself and healing and probably more Zack and aerith content too. Oh and we are most likely getting the snowboarding mini game since we didn’t get it in rebirth and bc it will also have the snow town etc.
FFVII Rebirth was so much fun & I really enjoyed the combat & the boss fight especially the 1v1 boss fights that came up. I was looking forward to seeing the 1v1 fight with Dyne & Barret just because I wanted to see how they would go about doing that fight with two guys wielding prosthetic arms for guns & they did an amazing job with not just the fight & cut scene but the arena itself.
Making a cover spot for the player to duck behind was a great addition compared to the turn base version.
One thing that was a missed opportunity was the moment after the Jenova boss fight & the final showdown in general was Aerith scene. What Do I mean?
I was hoping to have the scene be more sad but it didn't due to the fact that Sephiroth takes away any moment to grieve over the loss of Aerith so being more alert took over being sad. Not only that but what was a missed opportunity was not seeing Cloud walk Aerith down to the water like in the OG version of the game. I know a lot had to be changed in certain scenarios but this one was sorta skipped over to them already down by the area where he placed her.
I think it would have been nice to add a final objective to let the player walk Aerith down to the water slowly to really let the moment sink in especially since the OG version did it in the form of a cut scene.
I only say this because I have seen other games do this like God of War for the PSP IIRC where Krato's walks blank to their resting spot & the game let the player walk them to the resting spot.
That's why it didn't feel as sad to me whereas the young Aerith scene actually had me crying which I never ever done for any video game. They did that so well & I just think that was a missed opportunity for the ending is all. Other than that still a fun game & it does not take away from the joy I had with this game at all.
Maybe in part 3 they might do a what happened previously type of thing or something & let us walk her down to the water while they show the post credit like they did at the start of rebirth. That would be super cool but I don't see that happening but I just wanted to mention that so I could get it out there.

I haven’t finished rebirth yet but when I do I will be playing remake and rebirth again straight after. I can’t wait for part 3 to come out so I can play the whole trilogy in one. That will be epic

Thanks for sharing! While I really enjoyed playing this game and employing the party system to tackle the challenges and to navigate the FFVII Rebirth journey as a collective! I hope they limit the number of minigames required to attain Platinum status for Part 3! I would be happy if the only minigames I had to play were Queen's Blood challenges! From my mouth to the developers' ears! All the best!
Yeah, the platinum is insane in this. Thankfully I only have hard mode to finish for the platinum, but even then, this is definitely one of the most grueling platinum trophies yet!
@@funmylife9248 My son and I tag-teamed our way through normal mode, completing all of the side quests, world intel objectives and most of the mini-games in order to take advantage of the associated rewards! However, I am not sure about revisiting the game in hard mode although the completionist in me is prompting me to do so... I'll give myself a few weeks to miss playing the game, then see how I am feeling then!
@@kelela37clch Definitely know what you mean. It's a grueling task to go through a massive game again but on a higher difficulty! Maybe give the game a rest and come back to it at a later date to hype you two up for part 3!

- Great Glacier (meet professor Gast in the video tape)
-Be able to visit all places, included Midgar
- Fight with the weapons, also optional ones like emerald and Ruby
- Submarine and go to the drown plane
- Lucrecia's cave
- Aerith's burial
-Go back to forgotten capital (They didn't gave us a moment to go around)
-Fort Condor
Moogle cloud needs to return but also be a playable form for cloud and we need cloud turned into a chocobo.
Maybe they should call this 3rd game in the ff7 Remake trilogy Final Fantasy 7 Reunion
Rebirth is a masterpiece. I do have to say I wished we were able to use Vincent. He’s my favorite character so I’m having high expectations that his story line will be very in depth in part 3.

They need to fix his limits so they don’t hender you more than actually help.
@joshshrum2764 i was just thinking about this earlier. I cant imagine they have him go "berserk" and not let you control him in limit form. Thats already pretty kuch how the summons are so mechanically, i dont think itd make sense. I hope they allow you to at least control him still, and just make him super op for a short duration of time.
*side note: i hope they add in the "added effect" materia. Itd be nice to have poison or stop have a small percent chance to apply on weapon hits

Ruby Weapon, Ultima Weapon, Diamond and Saphire fights will be awesome. The nothern crater, the Submarine and exploring the Ocean beneath I think all of that will be mind blowing for part 3

I believe the 3rd part will be released in 2-3 years max, 2026-2027 release since square has to do the other regions Rocket Town, Wutai, underwater, Mideel, and the Northern Crater and Village, as well as Cid and Vincent's game play.
I truly believe Zack and Aerith will play the central roles in the finale, especially Zack accomplishing his goal to be a hero.
I'd say 2027 for the 30th year anniversary.
@MrNinosan I was thinking that too, but it would be awesome if for the 30th anniversary, the PC version of part 3 came with the collection and the release on console prior to the anniversary. Either way would be great 👍

My prediction for the order is we Start either at Icicle inn or rocket town for cloud to tell another story on how he got separated, go to icicle inn, then travel the great glacier, climb Gaia’s cliff, then to the northern crater, go to Junon without cloud, get the high wind, go to Mideel, Tifa leaves the party and the chapter ends, a couple parts of the huge materia, return to Mideel, the big lifestream moment, Cloud returns to the party as a playable character and is his best self again, chapter ends, Cloud tells his story to start the chapter off, Cloud is officially back as the party leader, they head to the junon underwater reactor, then head to Rocket Town, after rocket town, head to Wutai, Wutai could get 2 seperate chapters due to how much build up this area had in remake and rebirth, then head back to cosmo canyon, then back to the forgot capital, and get the key underwater, then the big Midgar raid, and then I hope they flesh out the 7 day cycle for meteor approaching the planet after the party defeats shinra, and then the northern cave will be the home stretch for part 3, if we are to follow the original events of the original game.
Yeah, I think you're spot-on with those events. I think part 3 will definitely adhere greatly to the events of disc 2 and 3 of the original, but with significant expansion in certain areas, like Wutai, which you brought up
Hopefully they make a timeline of the OG like everyone wants and show Cloud's breaking point, the water burial etc. But i also hope they explore the timeline where she survives and give us a happy flower girl ending

I assume Cid will get his Astronaut side arc to yell at Shera, Vincent will get one with Lucrecia (they loosely start to talk about her in Rebirth), Yuffie will get her materia theft / Corneo sex trafficking with Elana scene, and Tifa & Cloud likely will get some expanded time with the lifestream psychiatric arc in Mideel. I'm really curious to know what DLC will come for Rebirth. I have a feeling that it's going to be Deepground focused again so maybe that will be the Vincent backstory as a Turk or Dirge ... not sure how I feel about that.
I believe they've stated there wont be dlc for rebirth so that they can focus entirely on part 3
With them referencing how you need a whole force to move the highwind I am really REALLY expecting them to bring the 7th Infantry to help you out with flying the ship! I feel like it would give the 7th an important role in the party's mission and just a great addition into other people realizing what's at stake and just trying to pitch in how they can.
Im thinking within 3 years we will get the final one. Heres hoping they give us everything and more! Cant wait!

I'm expecting a Tears of The Kingdom level of exploration. Land, Undewater and Air. I think they will put the weapons in past regions to revisit them.
Obviously, Ruby Weapon is gonna be the talk of the entire Corel region. It's gonna put those traveler eating sandworms to shame.

Part 1 Remake: the splitting of the timeline(s). Part 2 Rebirth: The timeline where everything will be for the better (?) prevails and becomes the dominant one. Part 3 Reunion (?): All alternative timelines fall together on the dominant Rebirth timeline. FF7 DLC Reunite: Aerith comes back ??? :P
Even with all the work already done I'd be shocked to see the 3rd part release before Feb 2027. I'd love for it to be faster but even if we just hit that 4 year mark again I can live with that. There is a ton to get right and I want them to have the time to do it. While some people are already upset at the changes, others like myself are hoping that all the new threads will hit a satisfying conclusion in part 3 and it's definitely complicated.
Might as well add banora / banora region since they added weiss in remake, nero and deepground in intergrade amd all of these is connected to zack and genesis. :)
And to make it all full circle.. add a DLC of dirge and advent as a game

I am very sure when we go back to Midgar we are going to fight deep ground again and we will have to be Yuffie and Vincent only for that section.

I am so eager to see the part of Tifa and he lifestream. Overall anything where Tifa has more protagonism is my favorite part 😂. She is my most favorite character in the entire videogame media.

Same here. I definitely think the regions from rebirth will be explorable to some extent in the final part, but a bigger focus will be (probably) on the new areas of the world
wasnt there also a story-line return to midgar on disk 3? not sure if you could return outside of that specific story beat, but I wonder how they'll handle the HOJO battle in midgar in the 3rd game? Or will they change/skip that entirely?
Yes, you parachute into Midgar very briefly, so it is entirely possible they may make this a region, albeit a smaller one

Not really. Rebirth made clear that you can't change anything major in the story. And it isn't about Cloud and Aerith, the story is about multiverse and the fact that Aerith (now she is also in the Lifestream like Zack and Sephiroth) and Zack will help the party im the living world through the Lifestream.

I think Zack will play a vital role in restoring Cloud’s mind. I say this because Marlene pleads with him to help Cloud whose sick (his mind-my interpretation). I think it would be cool considering he was very important to the entire Nibleheim flashback too and now he’s around
I think FanTV 100% underestimated just how huge Wutai and the north continent are going to be.
All I want to know is whether there will be data carry-over and if there will be an expansion pack?
I would imagine that levels will revert to a lower level, similar to the opening moments of Rebirth

I think cid and vincent are definitely getting dlcs for rebirth. Hopefully we get more combat for hard modes legendary and brutal challenges for them and the rest of the party
Can’t say for Cid but for Vincent I think we might, those sections where he appeared in the temple seemed like good potential for a dlc.

The Great Glacier and the Raid on Midgar are going to be absolutely insane in disc 3.
I really hope to see the part 3 in 2 years, because they only have to reuse all the scenerios they develop in the part 1 and part 2. Of course, they have to develop Vincent Valentine and Cid as playable characters. The OG final fantasy 7 disc 3 is very short in main history.
I think we will get part 3 in 2027, 3 years from now. Here's my reasoning.
They managed to create a massive part of the world within 4 years. They have probably a similar amount of world to make for part 3. However, this time it will likely be faster. They also released episode Intermission, and the pandemic struck which slowed down work. With the pandemic over and no DLC planned, I think 3 years is a safe estimate.

One of the things that bother me about Rebirth is that you can’t play in a party with Cid/Vincent and Aerith.
And what bothers more, is that even though Vince and Cid are joining in the fun at part 3, there is no Aerith that they could team up or do synergy moves with😔

@@renanperiod As a one time partner just to yeet in from the other timeline as she did in Rebirth as did Zack, both of em teaming up with Cloud against Sephiroth. But actually coming back…? Not likely, especially given the fact the producer has stated that AC is very much still canon in Remake continuity, and in AC Aerith and Zack were still very dead. We will see alternative routes on different timelines for sure, since Aerith and Zack are alive on one of em, but the OG timeline is still intact as rebirth went down.

Let’s not let anyone ever forget that this is easily one of the greatest RPG’s ever made. I’ve never played a game with SO much content. Absolutely beautiful game. And not buggy at all.. it’s amazing they were able to make this so smoothly

I HOPE AND WISH for them to incorporate Unreal Engine 5 for Part 3. Would make the world map a none issue and make it so they can add SOOOOOOO much more details.
WHy bring a new engine that wil ldelay release we see in rebirth the tiny bronco it can fly and we get limited control showing that piece is already set that gives us a taste of how the highwind wil lwork and chocobos fly so that part already in place.
@@sora6748 I really don't think it will be that much more trouble for them tbf. FF7 Rebirth and Remake are made from UE4 so the leap from 4 to 5 won't be that hard to or time consuming to do and it gives you soooo much more potential for just adding stuff like details and fleshing out the world.
I think we are going to get the whole world to be explorable in part 3 and this time it won't be divided into zones like Rebirth. UE5 would make that a walk in the park for them to accomplish.

These first 2 games cover only 1 disc. The last game will have to cover the events of 2 discs, rather than a half like the previous 2. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little worried.
With as much stuff there still is to the story, I imagine it will still take a good while, around 3 years at least. But I really have no idea.
If they do gwt highwond implementee hopefully it can land ANYWHERE.
Also the knights who say "Ni" would be quite an insane summon.
People keep saying Cloud will realize Aerith is dead while with Tifa in the lifestream, but while that makes sense, due to what seems to be a split timeline, one with a living Aerith, perhaps the opposite will happen and Tifa will see into the other timeline where Cloud saves her.

I love chocobo breeding, that was part of my end game in OG but I doubt they will add it into remake. I hope they do the weapon bosses well and introduce ultima weapons farming back to the game
it is just me or... i have nighmares from doing this same overworld stuff what repeat every time...
I do but with even more bloat & force filler like how nobody talks about this part

It is very necessary to give these two a satisfactory conclusion. That for me is reunion and love, wheter in an alternative reality or in the current of life, but a satisfactory conclusion must come out.
Different timelines equals different outcomes good and bad and since Zack’s Aerith is still technically alive just in comatose there’s no doubt there’s going to be at the very least a conversation between the both of them.
Aerith's side really depends on the reality around Cloud's Aerith. Is Cloud living in 2 timelines simultaneously (the sky tear suggests maybe) or is his mind filling in the blank that is Aerith's death because he can't accept it? If it's the former then there's always the chance that Sephiroth completes the reunion of worlds and attempts to crash meteor into that reunited world. In which case Aerith can return.
Personally I'm hoping for a happy ending. All the shit that happened post FF7 was super doom and gloom. Even in FF7 it was like "Hooray we stopped the dude but now we're all traumatized".
@@Unsaid86 Hopefully friend because they are very important and deserve a good closing. I feel like I'm reading a book of literature and I need things to turn out well. The original Final Fantasy 7 was a great game but it was very sad. The absence of Aeris during the last stretch of the original game. We didn't know Zack but then we fell in love and adopted him as a great friend.
And he wants some minimum of hope with these two characters. It doesn't matter if they are dead or you want to leave them alive in the Marvel universe, but give them that special moment together.
@@ON-zj1mxwe've all got different views on satisfactory though, the Sopranos was my favourite ending yet a lot of people find that unsatisfactory. Reality is always worse than the anticipation of not knowing. I'd like to see a balance between ending in mystery and full blown conclusions.

Chocobo breeding was tedious in og Ff7 and Rebirth had a plethora of minigames. If they include it in part 3 it needs to be reworked and trimmed down. Make it optional unlike some of the minigames in Rebirth.
I hope the collectors edition includes the Highwind!

You're partially right, the game storytelling was awesome, gameplay was great, just like in the remake version, the open world felt nice, but then, the "cons" is that in every single region you had the same repetitive quests, over and over, with lots of tedious minigames that had a lot of lore.
I’m really interested to see what they do with the areas already covered in Rebirth, as I don’t see be much reason to put new side content in those regions over focusing on the regions not yet covered. the really important places like upper Junon or Gold Saucer have to return, but maybe the war and having the Highwind could justify not returning to the Rebirth free roam areas on foot?
You left out the North Crater, outer space, and Fort Condor as well as Lucrecia's Cave (Sephiroth origin story). Great Glacier will also have Professor Gast and Ifalna story.

I mean it sounds great, but considering where Rebirth ended and how much content there's still to come, I hope they'll manage to funnel all this into one game without it feeling rushed or anything. Rebirth's zones were pretty amazing, but they still somewhat followed the same concept. Integrating the Highwind, an underwater area, the crater, the glacier and all that stuff sounds far more complex. We'll have to wait and see!

Tried to fully finish each region as I went, but it was too much after the first 2. Done now, and doing hard mode.
I feel rebirth chapters were a lot more focused and meaningful than remake (looking at you Wedge and falling into an unground lab). I just hope some progress carries over, or there is a little less to do in each region for time sake.
Loved the hints to Vincent's past relationship, and Cissnei talking about Zack a little bit.
I always liked Cissnei and Zack’s interactions they were always interesting and I think they have a lot of chemistry personally
The ancient forest near cosmo canyon needs to be done as well. Also hoping we get some quests between Lucrecia and Vincent since he's a main cast member now.
Also Deep Ground stuff. Yuffie/Vincent would be perfect for that.
If Devs don't delete sone zones, Part 3 will be 300gb+. But i think we should be prepared that some changes would be made to reduce the size of this game.
Oh, and one small note to take. Gilgamesh isle has Wutai style house, so at least environment for the city of the new region can be done faster because they have assets for it.
Bit surprised to hear about Rocket Town. With the introduction of Cid in Rebirth, and how in depth they went with Gongaga I was thinking theyd cut RT as a trade off. Whatever they do I’m “patiently” waiting on pt3
Theres still a ton space on the current continents that they could make explorable if they wanted to. i imagine they might actually have to change some of the landscape. We haven’t been to fort condor yet, and it’s weirdly separated by water and the in game map doesn’t match the world map.
