This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
A very relaxing video of my favorite place in the world. NOLA has a wonderful charm and energy about it. It's so full of color and life and there's no place quite like it. :)
Awesome little stroll, and lovely relaxing music. I've always wanted to go to this city. Someday maybe. Right now I'm reading the classic New Orleans-set novel "A Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole. I wanted to watch some stuff like this to get a better picture of the environment the novel is set in.
The novel sounds great. I think the video can definitely give you a sense for New Orleans charm. Unfortunately because of covid the music is gone and the city is not alive. Hopefully it will back soon so you can visit 🤗
october me/my wife & daughter were going to come to louisiana but now we can't because of the virus...maybe in march 2021...nice 4k video...mitchell - sunshine coast queensland australia
I was supposed to be at Satchmo Festival this year. No go! Tears, when I recall how often I have walked these places!! My place to stay is the Bourbon Orleans Hotel!!
Fantastci job. .Thank you so much guys. I miss NEW ORLEANS so much. I'm enjoying this video dreaming of the days I was in New Orleans right now in Turkey :-)) I don't know how to thank you because you guys make me feel like I am in New Orleans again. This is priceless.
Excellent coverage. Starting at 5:39 with the Cathedral of St. Louis King of France on your left you are in the heart of the Vieux Carre. This entire square owes its existence to Don Andres Almonester y Royas -who rebuilt the cathedral after the fire which consumed most of the city. His daughter, Micaela, was married at 15 to the son of Baron Pontalba. She was taken back to France, where her father-in-law tried to kill her for her dowry. He then shot himself . After fighting to recover her fortune , she sailed back to New Orleans, and carried out the magnificent work which lies before you. Read Tulane professor Christina Vella’s “Intimate Enemies: The Two worlds of Baroness Pontalba.”
Javier , let me know when everything is as close to back to normal as can be. Been thinking about taking a trip but I want to experience the city for all that it has to offer as would anyone. thank ya !
Is it only me or does Nola have a very interesting atmosphere when it’s this empty and without the loud crowd of drunks? Anyway, I hope tourism returns fast, many locals rely on it
It would help the viewer if you could mention when or in which month of 2020 was the video taken. If in January, then it was pre-covid and if in, say, June then its different. Thnks
Thanks a lot. Looks like things are slowly getting back to normal. I had a 10-day holiday trip in June 2020 in New Orleans & Baton Rouge cancelled by the airline. Eagerly awaiting flight resumptions (from UK).
Sudesh Lallchand we hear you. We can’t wait to travel again. New Orleans still has no live music which is big part of its charm. Hopefully all this will pass soon.
Jefferson is clearly the wealthier area, I am curious to discover the ratio between money, investments, opportunities, profit and skin colour, I have heard that Jefferson is predominantly white, is this true?
Of course, I guess, Bourbon Street to start....smelly, dirty, greasy, smells of stale beer somehow wonderfully gone in this video. How I don't know. Cafe du Monde OK, but try Cafe Beignet on Royal Street just great! Beignets tender as a babies bottom. (No babies were hurt in the writing of this.) And Croissant D'or on Ursuline wonderful shop tiled floor walls outdoor garden, and homemade pastries. Coffee ain't bad too, same with Cafe Beignet on Royal. Anyway, you can see there is a lot to see! Aloha from Hawai'i 4000 miles away...lastly, they have an Opera House in Marigny an old German Catholic Church from the 1800s lovingly converted to an amazing performance space...
You feel the same about the protests? People have to work man. We're the only first world country not to give relief to its citizens during a pandemic. Trillions to corporations though. Best country in the world.
This music is so refreshing 🎷⚜️🥁🎹🎼🎺
Have to keep it New Orleans style 🥳
Thanks for this. I can't wait for my favorite city to start swinging again.
Yes, New Orleans is not the same without its lively music scene.
I love New Orleans
Anybody else just love how they were quite and allowed us to take it all in. I’ve been looking for a video like this.
So glad you enjoyed our tour video of New Orleans 🤗

Glad you enjoyed the video 🤗
BEAUTIFUL, relaxing walk. Please...name of the band? Perfect music for New Orleans!
Me in nyc watching people walk so slow lol I’m moving to Georgia I can’t wait for my life to be more slow paced and enjoyable
Hahaha this is so true. We lived in Atlanta for a long time, go to busy cities and people are like moveeee.
It gets very fast paced at night, well at least before Covid...New Orleans is suffering, a city that depends on large crowds, conventions, and events.
I loved this! I am always so shocked about thumbs down. 🤷🏻♀️ I appreciate showing me all I have yet to see in person!
You know how people are 😝 thanks for liking the video
Awesome video and music, thanks for sharing...
So glad you liked it. New Orleans is a very unique place.
Nice tour of my city and Great 🎷🎷🎶🎵

It is, hopefully it'll be back to normal soon ;)

New Orleans is a beautiful city.
I can’t believe there are tourists back again so early after all this
There were very few, most places are closed, hopefully this will help prevent more cases.
It would help the viewer if you could mention when or in which month of 2020 was the video taken. If in January, then it was pre-covid and if in, say, June then its different. Thnks
Will use this info in the future. This was in June.

Jefferson is clearly the wealthier area, I am curious to discover the ratio between money, investments, opportunities, profit and skin colour, I have heard that Jefferson is predominantly white, is this true?
Jefferson lacks character though. It's just the suburbs.
what day was this recorded?
This was filmed on Sunday Jun 2020
I want to apply for this job. I have experience as well
Isn’t La nouvelle Orléans, this is SAINT DÉNIS in Lemoyne State.
thank you for not filling your video with shouting narration.
Glad you liked it ;)
What's the music please. Thanks
I made a video when I was there last year. New Orleans has some great spots to eat but the city is in bad shape unfortunately :(
Yes, hope it can get its charm back after COVID
They say the weather is great there. It is true?
It is most of the time actually.
I think some changes should be in the French. . Quarter
Exchange need to come
to think this wont be here in like 50 years.
So sad everything that is happening. Hopefully that won’t be the case.
Make it better for the people of America and I.
What is the name of the food?/

Some people just don’t understand the concept of “stay at home” and because of these ignorant people many people get sick and die.
