My dad is from Louisiana but doesn't live there anymore. I showed him your other New Orleans video and he was really excited and naming all the streets.
@@nobrang5146 I am from New Orleans, I was born here and live here. Grew up in New Orleans East in Lake Forest. He is right. This place is bad, there are shootings in these same streets in this video that you think are so charming and beautiful. They put tourists in danger by inviting them to a street war zone. Tourists should be made aware that they aren’t as safe as they think and that they should exercise caution when visiting and be on guard while having fun
Live there a while and you will RUN back to your home town. Believe me it's a disgusting, nasty, den of iniquity. Oh, and it's summer about 10 Months out of the year. There is no other season; just bursts of cool air "once and a while"
Hawaii when I was growing up was gloriously filthy. We'd go around barefoot and the bottoms of our feet would get all black from the dirty supermarket floors, lol.
I hate when ppl say stuff like this when there is clear evidence in front of them. City gets cleaned up a lot better than it used to. And if you bring up bourbon, what do you expect it to look like at 1AM? It’s a wild strip 😂
There's a man in New Orleans Who plays rock and roll He's a guitar man With a great big soul He lays down a beat Like a ton of coal He goes by the name of King Creole

Bourbon House at the beginning, went there for lunch on my second trip to N'Orleans. God that place was good. Nice to see KPauls is still there too. We went there for my mom's birthday post cruise on our first time in the Big Easy. Damn fine jalapeno cornbread, and I think I had the blackened filet mignon...I can't remember exactly, must have been 15 years ago when Paul Prudhomme was still alive cuz I remembered seeing him there that night. And of course the famous Cafe Du Monde. Our legs would automatically take us there every morning for cafe au lait and beignets.French Quarter Market. Pre-Katrina it was packed front to back. Vendors would have to setup outside even. Post-Katrina 2 years, I saw it at only 60%.on a weekend. This really saddened me, I think I still have a couple of really nice hand drawn prints of St Louis Cathedral purchased from the Market.
K-Paul's closed down permanently recently......They could have kept it going longer, but didn't find it worth it with all the challenges, apparently they had plans to retire it in the next few years regardless.
Most of the cities in the US have European architecture. Don’t forget it was home for the English, French, Spaniards, Italians, Germans, Irish, and Scottish
As someone who lives in an old European city it most definitely does not look like that. Some buildings on some streets look old and European but you can find that in most US cities. The rest, which is the vast majority of it, looks like it was built in the last several decades. Nothing wrong with that.
Man , you missed Audubon Park , City Park , the Treme area , the lakefront , Carrollton Ave. Magazine St., Esplanade, the Cemeteries , the projects , the 9th ward, the Riverfront , St. Charles Ave. , Lakeview, Airline. Basically ,you went round & round the CBD and passed up Lee circle. You didn't go no-where !

Beautiful city
I love this city , I am very happy it wasn’t hit bad by the recent storm 😍
I'm sad it didn't get to be 40 feet under water. You have no idea just how bad it is down there because they never tell you. It would spoil tourism.
@@QuantumEffectResidue what is your problem? People actually live here you know

The capital of jazz music. Very nice.

Insanely beautiful city 🌃💯👌🏻
The streets never look this clean in person lol
@D Brother thts so true they clean them every morning

Mardis Gras is when it gets messy but the clean up crews do such an amazing job.
The French Quarter is much cleaner these days...private company doing the trash pickup I think.

From 0:35 to 3:30 looks like "Ciudad Vieja" neighborhood, in Montevideo, Uruguay.
The hottest time of the year, the off-season really, and it still looks pretty active.

Very unique city

Good-Good
I feel relaxed.
your driving skills are unmatched, no question
hope you will drive us to Area 51 in order to see them aliens
Y'know I wouldn't have guessed this was the US, the streets look pretty narrow for what I'm used to seeing of the USA.
That’s how they are in the French Quarter and a few other parts. In many other parts the streets are wide as hell.
The French Quarter streets were constructed for horse and buggy.
The area you’re looking at was constructed by the Spanish and French over 300 years ago.
Gracias por el viaje!!!
Thank you so much for sharing these...
Beautiful city beautiful place to visit and definitely eat 🔥

Aw that's a shame. I'll miss them. The sucky thing about living in Toronto Canada is that creole cajun isn't well represented here.
The best city in the us
What camera are you using? Very clear no real stabilization issues
Lee He will never say. It’s his secret
He never replies to comments unfortunately
Sounds like you guys have being through a lot on this channel 😁
Would still love to know what camera he is using ...
My GoPro Hero 7 Black produces similar looking footage. It has built in stabilization.
An hour long drive in New Orleans...and not once were you shot at, harassed for money or carjacked. I'm impressed! :)
I wish I could give this comment 4 thumbs down. Lame and corny.
Hey J Utah, I was wondering if you could do more suburbs and stuff? I think Santa Barbara, CA would be a really nice city to drive around!
Best and thanks

Orlean orleans orleans ORLEANS!!! WAKE UP!YOU GIRL!
I live in Louisiana (Lake Charles) and many in this state consider New Orleans a separate world.
I’m not even from Louisiana and I’m with you on that lol
Looks like one of those old cities in Europe.
Yohannes Chane it’s because most of the infrastructure is from those times, this is one of the oldest city’s in the USA.
Yeah, it was heavily influenced by the French

No
It's cool to have a tour of a city I know i'll never visit. Too dangerous if you don't know exactly what you are doing.
Those wrought-iron balconies must be trade-mark of New Orleans.
😎😎😎😎😎👍👍👍👍👍👍
New Orleans street looks more like the streets in Taipei, narrow.

This is actually what a modern Saint Denis would look like. If you're knowledgeable enough on RDR2 you'd understand.
Which camera did you use? It’s nice
17:25. That Honda Accord is without license plate.
