New Orleans isn’t the only place you can enjoy great Louisiana food, but it is the center of the Creole style of cooking. In Southwest Louisiana in the Acadian area we cook with more spice with plenty of flavor.

@@wuxiaaddict That'll be me three
Growing up as a kid my mom always made the donuts and at every family event we have everyone always begs her to make them. They’re amazing!
Oh Louisiana, I miss you so!!! I love Rosalind's attitude, wish she was my Aunty! 😍
No way, you'd have to roll me out the door. Im not a seafood person but when that kinda love goes into it, all bets are off.

*_”See this eggplant? It’s too raw and healthy-looking.”_*
2019 moments
lol he is talking as if the eggplant is too healthy and foods that are too healthy are bad for us lol
My eggplants is better... 😂 *ua-cam.com/video/U12s7hv1LAA/v-deo.html* ❤ xoxo
so fucking nasty 😩
My band and I make music, it’s surf rock and other chill indie rock , we would love to hear some feedback
the red beans and rice with sausage looks good as hell and the gumbo too😩😩 lord
Fridc bologna sandwich, fried sausage sandwich. Looks so good. I know I couldn't make it the same way. The sausages are
so thick and fatty, NO low sodium no low fat.
I absolutely love my state! It’s absolutely unlike any other place in the world! The food is unmatched and our culture is extremely unique! Creole food is by far my favorite food choice! Cafe De Monde is so good y’all! The gumbo is delicious and the beignets are extremely addicting! 😋😍
So is the coffee! I'm from Houston, but living in Arkansas I drink nothing but Louisiana coffees. I mail order it via Amazon. I visited N.O. several times in the 1960s and 1970s and had the beignets at Cafe du Monde with that wonderful coffee.
Sonny: is it stuffed with the essence of new Orleans..?
Guy: Yeah.😅😅
What does that mean exactly?
This is an awesome video. Prayers out for all of Nola....Hopefully the weather takes a change. Shouts from Memphis tn!!!!!

Because out here in new yourk there is plenty of southern food spots and they are very delicious
Gumbo is a tastes you will grow to love , and never forget,Louisiana cuisine is the best you can eat in the south for seafood and Gumbo.
I love this guy. He really enjoyed the Creole soulfood in
New orleans. Thank you for shinning a positive light on our food . Because Creole food is the best food in the world.
Kegine Smith Define Creole soul food. Because I’m born and raised in New Orleans and to my knowledge there is only one kind of creole cuisine in the area and it includes the culinary influences of like 10 different ethnic groups that settled the area and it’s just called “creole”.
@Rudy Brooks Thank you😆😆 Because i really didn't like their tone. So was NOT going to explain ANYTHING to someone who obviously have no clue what Creole food is anyway..
Kegine Brassfield I’m born and raised in New Orleans, I know creole food better than most people. What is it you feel you needed to explain? I’m listening...
@Rudy Brooks God pull that stick out of your ass
Rudy Brooks ya you should be happy that someone actually wants to eat your high blood pressure and diabetes foodie
Feel so blessed we have a channel like this, no Netflix sub or anything needed! This is show is perfection. certainly if i take a trip to new orleans in NA - These places will be on my list ❤

As a Haitian person born in America I’m so inspired by all of these dishes. Just to think my ancestors roamed those streets and inspired this culture. 🇭🇹❤️
Exactly.... To claim it’s “not African” is really disrespectful... African culture is at the heart of every dish made...
@@SheebahBaby Haitians were in New Orleans, when they fled the revolution. Yes, it’s all inspired by Africans but majority of the ppl speak Creole there for a reason. Hence why they call themselves creole . And the whole culture is literally French Creole . lol
@@SheebahBaby Haitians are no longer African yes we are descendents but we’re Haitians those were Haitian dishes inspired by Africans. That’s the people that were living there once they fled during the revolution.
@@jocal2754 all I read was “I’m not Black I’m Haitian”..... Africa is the mother land.... African is the mother culture .... Haiti is a place... Not a race. Haitians are displaced African People...
@@SheebahBaby I’m sorry, you can’t possibly be Haitian. African ppl inspired the dish but Haitians were the ones living there. Only a true Haitian would know that
When you’re from Louisiana so you eat like this on a regular. 💫🤩

New Orleans isn’t the only place you can enjoy great Louisiana food, but it is the center of the Creole style of cooking. In Southwest Louisiana in the Acadian area we cook with more spice with plenty of flavor.
Coz she's not cooking for you.
*Savage level +100*
Love the lady at the beginning “people that stay in the French Quarter miss out” it’s so true! Love your channel. Subscribed
So true, I used to always tell people to hit those seafood joints along the highway on the way to Waveland beach just across the MS state line about 30 or so minutes from there. I left about a year or so after the spill though and have regrettably not been back, no idea if some or even any of those places every recovered from that
I live in Australia and imma book a plane ticket to get my butt over there to eat some of this amazing food 🤤
@white zebra Agreed. There's so much cultural food in Louisiana you could it a different meal every night.
Same here im in aus and i wanna do the same thing lol
You won’t regret it! Try the Apple Beignets
