If you were to leave a little extra length to the very end of the skinny part of the tie, do you think you could find a way to tuck that little end into your collar right where it buttons, sorta like the swag knot? I like every part of this knot, except for that little tab sticking up.

I think you need to put tie on neck and then tie as I tried it so many times it fails

I think that as long as the wearer knows how to tastefully incorporate this knot into an outfit, that is what matters. A knot that is this eccentric and flamboyant is NOT something you'd wear on all occasions, but I'm sure it has a time and place in the wardrobe of a guy who knows how to balance it out.

The cravat, as a symbol of elegance and cultivation, originates from the Croats. Namely, the Croatians were bound in themselves with the paintings of the paintings. This "Croatian style" won the Parisian bandwagon and they adopted a new fashion item "a la Croate"!

Many people are surprised to know that Croatia is home to the tie, and the biggest cravat distributors; Croate, Michelle and Stephen Crocker, add: "What's coffee for Brazil, and watches for Switzerland, it's a tie for Croatia."
On October 18, 2008, the Croatian Parliament proclaimed the Day of Ties. Since then, Dan is cravating and officially celebrating in Croatia and in some parts of the world.

I created a knot that combined the Matrix as well as the Merovingian knot into what I call Hell's Noose. It uses two ties and makes for some pretty unique color combos. Wish I could post a pic of it on here.
