Hey i got a couple questions. What does 4+64g and 6+128g mean? Is that storage? Also, if i dont want wired, do i just get the headunit? Will it still be wireless?
@@AlvinNantz yes it’s memory , RAM and ROM, every headunit comes with an internal wireless CarPlay and android auto. You don’t need the dongle , save your money.
I bought one of these from their website and I had a bunch of issues. I told them I was going to return it. So I sent it back. This was right after thanksgiving. It’s now Jan 11 and I’m fighting with cartrimhome to get my money back. I paid extra to send it 8-10 business days and the guy Chen keeps saying he will get it this week. He has been saying that for 3 weeks now. I’m pissed. I wouldn’t buy anything from this company. Good review, but the product didn’t work for me. If the product worked properly there wouldn’t be a Facebook community on how to fix issues.
When you were having issues with the microphone on calls, did you have the Microphone Gain and Volume Gain turned up to MAX like KingSev mentioned in one of his videos? Just wondering if they had a hard time hearing you even with those settings that he mentioned?
Why buy a HU that can't take calls with clarity and has carplay problems? Great screen but those are literally two of the most important functions. Hopefully they can get this fixed.
@@KingSev Ergo, the HU does have problems bc it doesn't update software to meet Apple's current standards. You can blame a trillion dollar company or just take responsibility for your product.
Lots of aftermarket manufacturers support wireless CarPlay without these kind of issues: Alpine, Kenwood, Sony to name a few, not to mention the number of car companies that now support it as a standard feature. This method of trying to “hack” CarPlay is a joke
I'm on a quest to learn if any head unit can be installed in my 2010 SR5 4Runner with only an original satellite radio. Crutchfield says no. The manufacturer says yes. Nobody on UA-cam has done an install video on this simple system, so I'm guessing it's not a possibility.
You keep hitting that equalizer button because your brain is subconsciously telling you to fix it 😂 Turn down the mid ranges and turn up the treble, you'll get a better sound

Call your credit card company and file a dispute. They will easily retrieve your funds. ;)

The unit doesn’t have issues , apple does … it’s CarPlay IOS… because they just updated again.

how about the hazard button?? did you have to hot glue it to make it sit correctly or has that problem been resolved by the maker?
