And when those roots get so long it’s that thing people think oh, just hit the roots no problem (huge problem)! It’s the heat of the head getting that fast and really lightened hair. Knowing where the heat from the scalp starts to diminish is so the key here. So true blonde needs to be redone before it’s so long you are in a cooler zone for scalp heat and the demarcation will be prominent.

Excellent example of do’s and don’ts. I’m wondering what Volume % peroxide is being used, and what percentage are you allowed to buy, over-the-counter. In my experience, people that color their own hair think it’s like painting a wall…”if I don’t like it, I will just put on another or different color.” Kiddos to the mom for trying. She may have had some hairdresser experience, but in the end, knowing your limits is very important. I think what can be taken from this is, continuing education, expand your knowledge, and know you limits. Thank you, I very much appreciate you sharing this.

Judging purely by the interior of the home, there was absolutely no need to do a diy job on her hair. I don’t think she couldn’t have afforded to take a visit to a salon..
