I think Lauren uses Schwarzkopf blondme for the higher lift purposes.
I also really like her highlighting technique. Most of her clients come once or twice a year. She does chunkier highlights and does a root shadow. That way she easily picks out the darker parts the next appointment without the problem of weaving out the small highlights a lot of people use. But she still gets the same results. Really smart work in my opinion
Faction 8 is Pulp Riot permanent color
She almost always uses Blondme lightener and Pulp Riot color line, including their toners. She's right about their purple shampoo 😊 it's amazing!

My hair is very dark brown & I’m just starting to grey in parts of my hair, not necessarily the top. I am white 65 year old, with naturally curly hair, not wavy, curly-there is a difference. I mostly cut my own hair, because people get it too short or uneven, etc.. I want to balayage or ombré myself, but there is no way I can back comb (tease) my hair, it would never untangle. I have looked at hundreds of videos, no one ever shows natural curly hair, any suggestions? BTW: I love my hair, I can style it or straighten & it has good body & bounce, but most of the time I just air dry, run my fingers through it, pulling some of the curls loose. I seldom ever blow dry. I like everything but the grey.

The grey would be coming in at the roots, and generally balayage involves darker roots, lighter ends. What color do you want the balayaged parts of your hair lightened to? How long is your hair? That might help people suggest videos for you. James has a video on here where he does balayage on curly hair without backcombing from two years ago-Hand Blending balayage. Kenra Professional also has balayage videos on curly hair.
