I'm glad I found you! I have been learning yoga for the last year and you are BY FAR the most clear instructor. THANK YOU! My problem is that I started exercising regularly 40 years ago when proper technique was ignored. I exercised regularly with poor form for decades. I also spent more than a couple decades sitting at a desk. I am female - so please don't kick me out :)
Thank you for the feedback! While our content is definitely marketed towards men and their capabilities, women are more than welcome and encouraged to try our workouts as well.
I used this as a cool down after a pull up workout. First time I decided to do this and it was great. I'm 3 weeks into watching your videos exclusively for yoga and I intend to continue to do so. Keep up the great work.
Awesome routine! Discovered your vids 2 days ago and had some great content. I'm also doing this with my 6 yr old son in the mornings for 2 days straight now. (He's name is also Dean.)
Thank you for making this! I needed this during the stay-at-home pandemic. An enlivening way to start the day in an otherwise stressful world. Take care and thanks again.
As an Army Infantry Veteran, I found your routine to be just the right amount of, 'engaging/challenging,' that I was looking for. Being in shape for such a long time, (with my military background) but coming off of a shoulder labrum tear, I've easily become out of shape letting this injury heal. I honestly felt my muscles being engaged quite thoroughly. Fast twitch fibers were going crazy. It was challenging enough to get the blood flowing, but not to an 'overdue state.' Also feel myself thinking a bit more clearly, (after that wake up brain fog feeling) having to focus on balancing and breathing, and other muscles as you called them out. Great instructions and appreciate the video. Only have one question, how long do you recommend this as a daily routine before switching up to a more disciplined level? Thanks again. - Joe
You're welcome, glad you enjoyed. We're also hosting a challenge right now!! manflowyoga.com/training/sf2020 - starts April 6, includes 2 months of free access to my website, too. :-)
I like when you say, "Ten more seconds in this pose," or whatever amount of time. If I think I am holding a pose indefinitely I give up! Great video. For me, these shorter ones work better for my schedule and I am much, much more likely to commit to practicing for the day if I know I don't have to commit to an hour because I also do cardio.
Thanks! We have a workout library in the Members' Area with search filters that allows you to search for the workout ideal for whatever your situation is based on length, skill level, target area, fitness focus, intensity, and more. :-)
Hey Dean, thanks for this video. Great routine! When you said to squeeze inner thighs towards one another on the squat it definitely hurt my knees a bit though. Was I just squeezing to hard? Misinterpreting?
Great question Joseph! Discomfort is ok but pain is always bad, so if something hurts stop. Squeeze enough the you feel engagement, without pain, and make sure your form isn't compromised. You may have been squeezing too hard and it resulted in doing the pose improperly.
@@ManFlowYoga Thanks! I'll try that out. I also asked my mom (who is a physical therapist) about it and she asked if my legs were shoulder width apart and I realized I may have had them too wide so I think there is a chance that that contributed as well.
The problem is when i am doing this at morning i would sweat a lot and if i do my workout afterwards too. 2 times a day showering is annoying, isnt it ?
Joseph - this isn't a great question to ask. Your calorie counting should come from your food intake, not from your workouts. Your workouts should fitness on improving your fitness level - strength, mobility, endurance, etc. It's only 14 minutes - so calorie burn can be anywhere from 100-200 calories depending on your fitness level.
Glad you enjoyed it Kris! Hope it started your day off on the right foot. For even more free content be sure to visit our site: manflowyoga.com/home-yoga/

Look awesome. So did you share workouts schedule about lift weights and how you mantain that muscle mass on your body?
James Evun yup, it’s in a recent video on my UA-cam channel - how to combine yoga with weight lifting
Cool

Can give us the app’s download link? Thanks.
🙂👊
How did you get this chest and abs? By doing yoga or Gym??
Yeah, doing just yoga alone won't get you here. We always recommend combining yoga with other forms of exercise, like weight lifting.
Add in "Downward Sleeping Dog," too.
Which style of Yoga is he teaching ? Vinyasa yoga ?
The problem is when i am doing this at morning i would sweat a lot and if i do my workout afterwards too. 2 times a day showering is annoying, isnt it ?

*Informative
How does one squeeze their elbows??
You squeeze them back, towards each other.
I wonder what your dog thinks you're doing. 🤔😂
The pullings your hands back doesn't really work (5:03). I've been trying to do it for months, but it just makes my hands numb and isn't natural
Dean how many calories do you think this workout consumes?

I thought this was for beginners 😂😂😂
It is! It can still be challenging though :) Keep trying and stay consistent, it'll get easier with time.
@@ManFlowYoga Thank you! Will try again tomorrow morning. Thanks for the motivation
Are you going to stick this back behind your paywall once the quarantine is over?
The dog is clearly not a morning person.
