Dean, I have struggled with debilitating tension headaches and migraines for over a decade. Tried everything, spent thousands of dollars trying to get rid of them. I stumbled on this video three months ago and I’ve done one of your yoga routines every single day since, and guess what? Headaches are 95% gone. Thanks man
Woah, that's awesome Ellis! We're really happy to hear our content has been so helpful to you. We'd love to hear more about your experience! Drop us a line at help@manflowyoga.com.
Ellis, this gives me hope. I have Occipital Neuralgia on the left side of my neck and head\eye. It's debilitating at times. Stretching seems to help, so I've decided to start yoga. 6'4 260lbs should be interesting
@@cmeeoutdoors7556 Stick with it, I'm still learning what my "sticky" points are. Best advice I can give is focus on what's not feeling right, in sync, or tight and work on those! Really hope it helps
@@cmeeoutdoors7556 any luck. I’m 6’5 290. I was 370 but lost a lot with the help of pills but needed up having 2 back surgeries about 4 months ago and don’t want to take the pills again.
thanks for posting. I have advanced heard disease and end stage COPD so it's hard to get exercise. These videos are a huge help. On breathing, my pulmonologist recommends inhale through the nose but exhale through pursed lips. This creates a bit of back pressure that pushes the lungs open further. It helps take in more oxygen in the next breath. - Huge Thanks Again.
Every day is a good day to get started with yoga, so we're glad to hear you're doing so here with us. Check out the Yoga For Men series here in our channel. It's a wonderful place to start!
I really felt like I needed a forward stretch after that back stretch -- which is maybe a sign of how bad my back has gotten and how much I need to work on my core. I really appreciate how you talk us through which muscles we're trying to engage and how to do so. It makes a night and day difference between doing it properly and just going through the motions.
This was a really good stretch. I plan to do this every morning as a wake up to the rest of the day. I’m super tense for a 21 year old former athlete, probably all those years I ignored coaches about stretching. Thanks a bunch!
Love all your workouts. You explain all aspects of the pose so well including the breathe, what body parts to focus on and what the body parts should and shouldn't be doing as you do each pose. Thank you for your commitment to teaching yoga the right way.
Oh I feel like an imposter here, as a woman! I bought your book for my husband’s 40th and had a look through it tonight so of course I wanted to try this out. Good stretch but was shaking all over holding the poses. I hope it will get my husband into some yoga too.
Dean with our gyms opening and closing and me in quarantine at times, your 7-day Challenge saved my year, thank you 🙌 Because you don't assume we know the poses, your coaching has saved me a ton of back pain too, I recommend your vids.

I never had any inclination to workout. However, recently I felt it was necessary to have a more balanced life and to take on more hobbies and activities as it is getting stressful having to be all alone during this quarantine. As someone who is just beginning his fitness journey I’d like to thank you for putting this out. It is easy to follow, doable even for someone who has never tried yoga, and isn’t intimidating to the point that I don’t wanna continue to do yoga. Thank you so much. Big help.

Hey Dean. Loving the content. How many yoga sessions can a beginner handle a day? If I'm not sore, could I just keep doing different yoga videos throughout the day to continue building strength and flexibility? I know its kind of a silly question but wanted to get your thoughts. I also lift weights almost daily. Thanks brother
New sub, going to get into Yoga. A question though, as a beginner is the purpose of yoga to stretch your muscles or should you not push it when you're first trying out
Great to hear that, Mike! I don't know if that question has an A or B answer. I think you should ease into it at first so you can understand your limits, figure out where you need work, and make sure you learn proper technique before pushing yourself too much. But I wouldn't avoid straining yourself altogether.
Welcome to MFY! That all depends on your capabilities Mike. It's important to get the most our of a pose or stretch but definitely don't over do it. If you do a routine and feel like you're not getting the most out of it, you'll want to push yourself further next time.
Standing and lying my breathing is easy to do. Getting into some of the other poses my sinuses start getting clogged up. Any tips from anyone with this issue? I'm 56 and only been doing yoga for 3 months and really enjoying it. Thanks for any help✌️
